#I wanna make a new color scheme but changing the import and export configs values does nothing
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
you need to make your changes locally
install the theme on the cli
then modify the files in your spicetify folder (color.ini)
wdym
read the spicetify docs
alr
and run our install script instead of using marketplace
okay so once you've installed our theme using the script
find your spicetify folder
then go to themes folder
open color.ini
and add your colour scheme there
oh
thats easier than expected
also
in the previews
the playlists icons are removed
how can i do that?
it looks cool af
i culdnt fin it in the config
okay, ill keep you tuned
it shows the color.ini now, thank
also how can i update it when a new release is out without losing my configs?
do you mean spicetify or the theme
oh there's also a little bug currently where once youve made and set your custom colour scheme you'll need to go to the comfy settings menu and press the X button next to colour scheme
theme
the theme auto updates
nice
everything is remote fetched just like marketplace
ive tried on vencord before and saw it on reddit that you've got another one in spicetify
and i was like
oh i need this
haha, well just hmu if you have issues since I'm the sole maintainer of the Spotify port
also love that the support is fast, simple and understandable
love that fact
ill keep you updated
thanks
no problems
wait
hold up
if youre the maintainer
sorry to bother but do you mind sharing the art cover in the JMix playlist showed in the previews?
you'll need to crop but here you go
oh yeah and a tip if you run spicetify watch -s enable-devtools
every time you save your colour.ini
Spotify will reload for you and spicetify will reapply
Alr, got it kinda working, tysm I’ll update you tomorrow when I finish it
hey! got it working, tysm!!! I'm publishing soon this and some more customizations to my Linux setup in Github, who do I need to credit? is it fine by you if i just go ahead and credit you? (as you're the maintainer). I'll wait for your reply, thanks for everything!
sorry for the late reply, check the licence on our repo :)
thanks!
I'm interested in your changes though if you wanna send the repo here
Don't worry, I'll have them by the next week I think, last time before I published it i pulled instead of pushing and comitting, and lost previous data, so I had to re do the repo but I'm finishing it now :3
