Chapter 4
||love me a main character with a hobby like Alex!
Guess there is something wrong with the new neighbors... and I guess they are werewolves! (or maybe it wont be that easy)||

||what a weird little town! Sure the Marlings are suspicious... but I still doubt they really are werewolves. Mostly because that would be a solution that is too easy :D maybe Alex' aunt and uncle just dont like them because they are mean... like I also dont want to talk to some of my neighbors haha
so. who is the werewolf! Maybe Hannah :D||

Chapter 16
||I wonder why the aunt said there are no boys in Alex' age around when they have a whole middle school with boys and girls?

And man this town is obsessed with werewolves haha||

aaaaand finished!
||okay up until the ending I really enjoyed this. It had a long build-up, and some truly creepy scenes.. especially being alone in the woods. And one thing Goosebumps often does well: show how frightening it is for kids if they are left by the adults in their life.
I did not get fully behind how these Werewolf Skins work or how humans become Werewolves, or why they are inherently evil? They just behaved like, well... wolves? running through the forest at night, killing some smaller animals, but idk, that is not monstrous? So sure, Alex was afraid of them because they are strange and kept this big secret from him, I get his fear. Maybe I personally would have liked them to do something scarier.
I guess I would have liked more lore around how werewolves work in this book haha

But overall... really cool buildup and I liked Alex' photography hobby. ||

||Wild thought: what if the couple are the only normal people in the town and everyone else is a werewolf?||

||Honestly, I think the use of fur capes of the wolves to shift is an interesting one.

He probably should have snapped a few pictures while they were actually shifting, though, to help prove the existence of werewolves.||
