first one down. only 59 to go!

I drew little pictures for all of them. Drew them without knowing the real covers and without knowing the stories. My drawing abilities vary a lot in quality. But yeah if I go through with that, you will see 60 small pictures I drew, some good, some terrible, no idea :D

I liked a lot of the ones in this batch. Though I wish that ||it was explained a bit better as to what Ghosts are exactly in this universe. Or in the individual books. It seemed like it was implied that the reader should already know what a "ghost" is/how exactly they behave. And I think this works better for creatures like Vampires. With ghosts, there are so many concepts and ideas, like benevolent ones, evil ones (and why are they evil?), can they be fought (with salt? iron? burning bones?)...
the kids in the books reacted with shock and fear when they learned that someone they knew/liked turned out to be a ghost. And to some degree I absolutely understand this! It just felt a bit weird sometimes because there were ghosts that seemed benevolent, like the cousins in Ghost Beach. They just seemed like nice old people, and then it was a twist that they are already dead?
And I wonder what the motivation of the ghosts were. To wreck havoc? To kill all the MCs in those books? Get revenge? idk, sometimes this wasnt all that clear and I wanted more clarity. || (spoiler for all 6 books from the Ghosts batch)

I finished all the January books, and gotta say, there were a few gems among them! I didnt think I would enjoy some of the Camp books as much as I did (never been to a camp like that myself) but was positively surprised
