4. Can't think of a favorite, but I really like Uriah. He just seems like a cool guy, he's funny, kind, and supported/was there for Tris when her other friends didn't/weren't. (four's great too, of course)

• four, definitely (seems everyone agrees). I like how although he doesn't have very many fears, they're still very present, and we see them throughout the book, along with how he reacts. (my favorite part of divergent was the capture the flag bit with the ferris wheel)

-I don't have many expectations. I just hope it's as good as Divergent or better.

-My favorite character is Four. He's so strong and determined to protect those he cares about.

Chapter 31 || I can't belive that Caleb is an Eurdite spy helping Jeanie against Tris but it does make sense with how much information she knows about Tris too ||

Chapter 33 || It's amazing how immune Tris is to all the simulations. Everything Jeanie has tried doesn't work ||

Chapter 47 || I didn't realize I was at the end until it ended. That cliffhanger though. What's outside the fence? How long have they been in the separated society for? Will they be accepted in the new society? Gahhhhhhhh I want to read moreeee ||

|| wow, Tobias’ mother is alive and he’s known. admitting his anger for her leaving him with an abusive father is understandable. Tris even says it, they’re in love with each other but they really don’t know a thing about one another .. interested to see where things go with the factionless. i would have such a hard time determining who to trust ||

i finished ||it was okay but i liked the first book more so far i feel like the romantic drama really is the weakest point in this series like dont get me wrong i do like the romance aspect i just feel that there is so much intrigue and drama in the world that it feels so useless and like something im just waiting to be over also it kinda became i little overdone with all the betrayals imo ||3/5 stars

Chapter 10- ||yesss I had a feeling their dad used to be in Eurdite. I wanna know why he hates them so much that he left. I also love that the factionless banded together and are gonna try to get rid of the faction system. For obvious reasons I agree lol||

(more related to divergent but): ||I was going through reviews on goodreads, and someone (who left a 2 star review) was talking about how foolish it was the Tris shot Will, and how it didn’t make sense in the story. Tris shot Peter in the arm, Eric in the leg/foot, but with Will, she aimed right at his head 👁️ 👄 👁️. She could’ve ran, could’ve shot his hand, like she mentioned in insurgent, or literally like anything else. I haven’t read an opinion I agree more with.||

||she does acknowledge this several times but the difference is that with Peter and Eric it was more caculated and with Will it was a moment of panic||

Chapter 40- ||I wonder what's outside the fences as they say. I feel like their factions are in a controlled environment like an experiment, and that the real world still exists lol. I'm disappointed with Caleb, and I hope his betrayal was for a good reason||

||omg so yeah I knew Tris's parents were gonna be involved. I'm glad they're getting the information now and I'm glad Tori killed Jeanine. I need more information about everything going on cause it's a little confusing, but I can't wait to read the last book! I'm also happy Tobias forgave her, I really like them together. I hope he can heal from his trauma with Marcus. I also think Evelyn is bad ass I can't wait to see what else she does||

|| well a lot has happened .. a lot of back and forth with Tris and Four being mad at each other for not trusting or fully disclosing things. it is kind of expected though they did rush into being together without really covering anything. i thought it was cool how Tris wasn’t affected by the truth serum and chose to spill the truth about Will, just to be able to rid that burden and help those who were hurt know the truth. Peter seems like he’s up to something, like he doesn’t fully hate Tris anymore and he’s going to help her, especially her now being in the execution room and he’s there with her.
It would be so crazy not knowing who to trust during such a time like that. not knowing who are traitors, who’s pretending to be what, that alone would drive me crazy!! ||

|| okay that was unexpected on Peters part . i had a feeling he was going to help but he just saved both Tris and Fours lives!! ||

book 3 i’ll probably post for the start of the new year .. no idea what’s going to take place with myself and the baby being born but i definitely wana continue on the series with you guys!!

(Sorry, I haven't been updating, I've been SO busy with school) Ch 1 - 17 ||OK where to even begin... SO much has happened... I think the amity's way of voting on things is super interesting, I really liked that bit. That scene in the orchard with Marcus and Johanna was definitely fishy. The scene where Tobias comforts Tris after her nightmare is so sweet Don't even get me started on chapter 6 . The erudite come to the amity compound I feel so bad for Susan 😢 but her and Caleb Hold up- fours.. mom? ok then. I liked seeing Edward again. I was NOT expecting Tris's dad to have been erudite, but that makes so much sense, regarding the relationship between him and Jeanine. I wonder what went wrong between their friendship tho, to cause things to turn between them. They head to Candor's compound but get arrested. I liked the interrogation scene, but hate how Four's past was revealed to everyone in the room. I definitely think Tris should have come clean about killing Will, rather than doing it during her interrogation, that was a horrible thing to do to Tobias and Christina. She LATER explains to four that she CHOSE to come clean, but four and Christina didn't know that at the time, so it doesn't really make a difference. WOAH erudite and dauntless traitors come to Candor and start searching for divergent. URIAH is divergent ? Can't say I'm pleased to find out Peter and Marcus are ok || I had just looked up a summary for some of the chapters, and I got a spoiler, that ||marcus is divergent|| 😕

|| that was a lot of back and forth with plans and mistrust .. lots of surprises too probably the biggest for me was Caleb’s betrayal. i’m curious if there was something really behind all of that or if he is just weak minded and easily manipulated.
the ending with EDITH PRIOR!! no wonder her parents were fighting hard .. i highly doubt caleb knew anything of the sort otherwise he wouldn’t have done what he did, right?!
Evelyn wanting power all along .. her and marcus don’t seem to be all too different with wanting control, just wanting control over different things. starting to think Marcus wasn’t as terrible as we’ve been led to believe. maybe there was a reason behind his actions .. ||

And how some of the fractions help out alot more to the infastructure then ither. Some fractions seen to be more inportant and therefore have an easier spot to start controlling or grabbing more power||

-have your feelings changed towards any character? || Maecus, deffintly. I mean I knew that tho. I still keep on my dislike to Christina ||

|| I liked Book 2 a little bit more. It felt like the story was coming along more. They got more into the factionless and why they are so important. Tris was also able to come clean about some of things she did in Divergent. Though I was not a huge fan of Tris and Tobias's relationship problems. It felt like it took too much time ||

• Feelings changed
  || My feelings towards Marcus changed a bit because he was so determined to get the truth out. My feelings towards Caleb also changed since he completely betrayed Tris and sided with Euridite ||

• surprises
  || Caleb's betrayal was a huge surprise that I didn't see coming ||

• Predictions for Allegiant
  || discovering what's beyond the fence and how to cope with life now that everything has changed so much again. Also dealing with the factionless and Evelyn's desire to rule/be in charge ||

It was one thing with tris, but she’s been friends with Zeke and Uriah for a long time. Finding out Uriahs Divergent doesn’t suddenly change who he is. And Tris saved Hector, her little brother, does she still believe the divergent are that bad??

1. ||I definitely liked Book 1 more, but this one was still pretty good. I liked getting to learn about each of the other factions.||
2. ||My feelings towards Christina have been a total rollercoaster throughout this series. There were many times when I was frustrated by Tris and Tobias, and honestly, I have mixed feelings about Tris. My feelings toward Peter were confusing. I know he's a bad person, but I always had this feeling that he would redeem himself. I'm hoping he does in the next book. I really liked Caleb, may have even considered him one of my favourite characters. I was disappointed to find that he betrayed Tris.||
3. ||Caleb betraying Tris definitely surprised me, and so did the ending. That's not at all what I expected to be the reason for the fences and the factions.||
4. ||No idea haha. I do remember a spoiler my sister told me a few years back when she was reading the series, but I'm not sure if she was joking or not:|| || Tris dies??|| ||I'm hoping Peter gets redemption, as he's been quite a major character in the story. I wish bad things upon Marcus.||
