The duration of the event (this shows you the time of the event in your time zone):
🗓️ <t:1693526400:f>-<t:1696032000:f>
You can join anytime you want within this time frame!!

How to participate:

  1. Read books from your TBR that fit the prompts
  2. Share your progress and thoughts on the books in the thread
  3. Complete boxes in a row, column or diagonal or all of them

OPTIONAL: If you'd like an extra challenge, try to only read Sci-Fi for each of the prompts.

Keep in mind that this event is for the month of September.
__You have to choose books from your TBR that were added before the start of the event and you have to read them within the timeframe. TBR means that you are planning to read these books (acronym for to-be-read). Books you have started before the start of this event don't count. __

If there are any questions about this event, please don't hesitate to ask!! catBlush

Does a book that is a collection of short stories (by the same author) count?

honestly the overlap is amazing! the BR for How High We Go in the Dark just got approved for Sept and its set in the future! So that's awesome!

mental crown
#

Oh I was going to use that for climate. It’s good to have options though

I have a question! Does it count if I read a book this month that was not on my tbr on goodreads (which is were I keep my tbr) but it was still a book I planned on reading? (I just never "officially" added it there, I actually thought it was there already and I just saw that it wasn't)

I'm trying to complete it with as much sci-fi as I can. I do enjoy it, so that helps. I'm on my way to an "X" on my board lol I'm listening to Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler rn which will fit the climate change one, and it's really good! Hoping to fit A Psalm for the Wild-Built in there for genders, Project Hail Mary for survival, Pi in the Sky by Wendy Mass for set in space, and Anthem was made into a short film... so score! I also have 2 Le Guins on deck XD
