No one here! Let me be the first!
I'm starting Kaikeyi By Vaishnavi Patel
An Indian Mythology Book. ✨
And now I'm DNFing this book. Will read it someday soon. Bye 🙂
Madeline Miller has a new story published (Galatea), anyone has read it?
I've started the audiobook for Norse Mythology, and my Thor, Neil Gaiman's voice is honey!
Ohh wow!! Do share your thought!
Haven't gone past the introduction of the main characters in the myths - Odin, Thor, and Loki -, which is like those lists of characters some books have at the beginning, but I really like Neil's descriptions! I also like how, in the foreword, he ||talked about Marvel being the reason why he fell in love with Norse mythology and wanted to learn more... only to discover how much Marvel changed the actual characters lol I had a similar experience, except that, for me, Marvel's version did the opposite. I believed Norse mythology was boring haha||
Waah! that's sound so interesting and charming!!
enjoy your book!
I finished Gieman's Norse Mythology not too long ago and I thought it was quite fun! Definitely a good entrance into mythology. Does anyone know of any similar books?
Jennifer Saint's Ariadne might be my new favorite book of all time. Genuinely so moved and intrigued by the implications of this story it is incredible
i finished reading the song of achilles
somebody wants to talk abt it?
The ending crushed my heart

Somebody wants to talk about Parzival? I rly enjoyed it!
i already have this, and have read it, but want this edition, the cover is gorgeous: https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/187668/the-greek-myths-penguin-classics-deluxe-edition-by-graves-robert/9780143106715
i really enjoyed that one!
Any good Norse Mythology recs?
i was looking into this a while back and the recommended places to start i was given were the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda; folks seem to have mixed opinions on Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology (i personally do not want to support him so it is not on my TBR)
