I think of immersive in a different way than things being realistic to you in a different dimension through your own eyes . I like feeling the way another world would if I were peering through a looking glass into anothers' life. There's all kinds of immersion.

They are definitely a start to something new. Specially with a physics system and origin system within its space both virtual and real life

immersion is really based on opinion and developers legit made an excuse not to do extra work on that system for third person view. It isn't that they have to do it but rather they aren't crystal clear with us, they aren't being honest. That gathers distrust toward their player base.

Rare has said this about their Sea of Thieves game and Red said it about their game, Cyberpunk 2077.

They should have just told the truth

I think developers usually intentionally chose what view their game has and lock it because many aspects of the game made with a certain camera in mind. Like you wouldn't make first person animations in game with 3rd person view.

And immersion rather depends on a game itself. I would call Outer Wilds very immersive game even though it has first person view. I don't think any other view would even make sense

The only reason I brought person cam up in the first place was because there are just not enough third person games of a certain specific category for me to indulge in. So for the last ten years I've worked in a few different sign shops. I've worked on vehicle wraps, banners, billboards, site signs, monument signs, illuminated channel letters/cabinets. Stuff like that. For the last several years I've moved into a more technical role, deconstructing files to prep them for print and production since it takes a more advanced eye to know what to look for. So lately I don't do a lot of design, but more so file preparation. That and color management for printer profiles, to get accurate results from document to print. Pretty boring stuff but it's easy for me so I like it haha

Definetly! But it is also quite hard to "truly" Play through stardew, community centre finish might be considered the end, but then there are relationships, different farm types etc 😄

You can have girlfriends and boyfriends haha as long as you don't marry it's fine, there is a secret event which is hilarious and won't have major effects on your relationships. And you build friendshiops with other villagers too which all have there own back story
