@low igloo Oh I love Josh Strife Hayes. He's great. Even for the lower standard mmos like Wurm online he is so caring and compassionate about the mechanics and the way the game utilizes its function, its point in functions as well. Wurm is...in my opinion something else...entirely. I'd play it if I were truely bored and wanted to just calmly gather wood as a human and build me a shack to keep my tools in.

Well, I categorize music into 2 different types, I think there is music that is ambient and mood swaying, music which you don't need to really think about as it's mostly emotional, video game music fits in this category, like Hollow Knight Resting Grounds. On the other hand, there is classical music which fits in the category of music which is utterly interesting to actually listen to as music, like Leo Ornsteins Morning in the Woods. Now and then you get music that breaches the gap of both worlds of being both captivating technically and emotionally. Fantasia on a Theme, Beethovens 7th Allegretto, or Erik Saties Gnossienne movements or Debussys Arabesque, hits this imo.

I don't like to walk out of a car and smell the car, I don't like the air inside a car, I don't like those things that give 'good' smell inside a car

and I don't think this is just a thing that happens to me bc I am unlucky, it doesn't make any sense that everything is always at least 15min in car

When I grew up (I'm not from the US) My elementary was at less than 5min away, My Middle school was literally in front of my building in the middle of town for everyone to reach it
The High School was a little further away but it was just a 15min walk
In the US the first school I went to was at least 1h walking and like 10min on car
My High School was 30min on car
3h walking, I know that bc I had to walk them once
So yea, I am sick of cars and cities build for cars, it doesn't make sense that I just took a 1h long car ride to the hospital, be there for <15min and then leave again for another 1h long car ride back home
And don't blame traffic, traffic only exist bc cars do, cars are only needed bc this f******* place is impossible to traverse without a car
I'm not going to get to talk abt Fossil Fuels, bc I don't need to, I hate cars enough without gasoline being a factor.

Bleh I can only imagine what being in a city like that would be like. Until middle school I was in a decent sized city but nothing so unfortunately laid out (was lucky to be a mile from my school and only a few blocks from a major grocery store). Through high school I lived rural and was about a 20-30min drive from the town I was a student in. And now I live in a different town and commute 40min into the city area I grew up for work.
Iād take an interstate/country road commute over a 40min+ inner city drive. My furthest commute after college was ~60min to a job I hated and it was torture.
Much love to everyone who endure long commutes every day 
I know it wonāt ever be an option for everyone, but I hope that as remote work continues to grow more and more, people can move to areas they actually enjoy living while still being able to have jobs they enjoy too.

All the talk about dragons in the other games chat reminded me of one of my wacky dreams I had this week so
STORY TIME----
Everything is normal, the sun is shining, the people are busy with jobs and school, and I'm just a regular person going about my day until.... The sirens go off! The people panic! Everyone is stampede and high above the sky, a dark shadow appears.
Aliens have attacked the earth, and no military is capable of defending the planet. Cities fall, survivors run for the woods, the underground, anywhere that can provide some shelter and safety.
Just as humanity nearly lost, the earth splits open, and dragons appear out of the ground. With a thundering roar, they charge the alien space ships and some of the survivors join them in fighting back.
Eventually, the aliens settle on a truce and peace comes after decades of war. The humans, aliens and dragons start to slowly live together in a new society.
Fast forward a few centuries. The era now resembles something that's a mix of sci-fi and medieval. So think shiny white castles and holograms knights and the dragons flying around with hi tech armor
The humans have split into two groups. The draconians, those who joined the dragons and made peace with the aliens, and the nomads who are wary and distrustful of aliens and the draconians even in the new era.
While the draconians have powers of talking to their dragon companion and increased strength etc, the nomads ended up getting new unique power, powers which they used when necessary to protect their homes, living in the forests and underground caves like elves and dwarves from fairytales.
.... And this was just part 1 of that dream
