A final evolution or a single evolution pokemon were able to evolve temporarily into a stronger version if you had a keystone and a evolution stone that matched with your pokemon. It wasn't every pokemon but there were several starters and others

I'm gonna take a moment to vent here for a bit cause I feel extremely frustrated by life messing up my plans like a personal vendetta
The whole last two months have been one panic moment after another
First my lab stuff for my thesis paper gets delayed and messed up
Then the paper gets delayed cause I wasn't able to finish getting all the results
This was also in between my exam season so I was also trying to study for that too
Between those I also had my visa renewal rejected and had to rush to get a special pass so I don't get deported in the middle of my exams
And by the time everything finished the results was literally one day away so I was panicking worried I wouldn't get graded at all (thankfully I did and passed everything)
And then the new sem started right away but the visa stuff still no sign of any progress at all
The food delivery service betrayed my trust, took my money and never delivered my dominoes pizza after 3 hours of waiting
A technical issue caused my study plan to have a mistake so even though I completed everything it still says it's incomplete,
And finally today is the graduation day for everyone but because of said mistake my status still stuck on 4th year and doesn't show that I can graduate so now I have to email the offices to get it fixed
Oh and lastly there's a small chance I might get evicted from my dorm depending on the state of my graduating status....

I'm starting to find my irritation changed to concern for one of my regulars...
Guy comes in every day for a drink and only now that I've been put on front register have I had the chance to interact with him more.
He wants a Venti Strawberry Frappuchino but initially he'll say 'my usual.' I have to press him for the drink and he'll look at me blankly like I should have it written on my face before he goes 'that strawberry one' and I have to get the frappuchino part out of him. THEN he gets all frantic and irritated like I can't just read his mind before he finally goes 'the large one'
But this is a constant thing. The same thing has repeated the past three days. I'm fine with customers using large and small and such if it's more comfortable but it's like he has fresh amnesia every day.

So admittedly, the "it" thing right now for art tablets that are actually screen-tablets that are small, paper-sized, and transportable...are iPads. For cheaper ones, there's the iPad Air, which is pretty good in terms of performance, feel, and sensitivity. If you're willing to shell out a few more hundred bucks, the iPad Pro (the one I have) is amazing for art. It's priced at around half of what a Studio starts at, but that can still be pricey to some people. Me, I saw it as an investment.
In terms of traditional tablets, Wacom is the major competitor, specifically their Intuos line. While I have friends that have tried out and liked XPPen and Huion, I'm unsure about their longevity because both inevitably sold them/got rid of them, and meanwhile, Wacom Intuos seems to be a long-term companion in terms of art creation. It was also what I used before I was able to get an iPad Pro!
If you get an iPad, the art program I would suggest to start with is Procreate. You could look up some tips and videos on it, as well as google certain keywords you might be wanting (such as: stabilizer, custom brush, etc.), but it is very handy for helping new and old artists alike improve and better their paintings and sketches! I myself do not care for it because it is limited on what you can do with layers (it has a max of 73 at any given time, and I usually go way over that.) I instead use Medibang, but they changed their service to a paid monthly subscription instead of a one-time purchase like before. I got grandfathered into the subscription for life, though, so I still use it.
If you stick with a PC and a traditional tablet, I do like FireAlpaca, but I can assure you it has a steep learning curve on maximizing your resources in that. It has wonderful layering and is free to use, though. For paid programs, Clip Studio Paint is the one that a lot of people seem to like and use, especially for comics, but if you're going more for paintings/sketches, I would stick to Paint Tool SAI. SAI is priced at around 50usd for its license. Clip Studio Paint is also at that price, but goes on sale usually for 20/25 usd from time to time.

That's totally understandable! I used SAI for years before I got into FireAlpaca. SAI's great for painting, sketches, making custom brushes, etc. I'm unsure how it has evolved over the last like...six years, though. So they probably made it even better than before! A lot of professionals I've seen also use it for their illustrations.
If you want to start small though and not drop 50 usd on SAI's license, you could try FireAlpaca, seeing as it's 100% free to use.

I don't mind dropping the $50 onto SAI. I'll be using my Tax return to help with the investment. I don't think I want to invest in an Ipad atm, considering the cost, but I had a friend just suggest Wacom

Ahhh, then yeah, Wacom Intuos is your best bet to go. Even their cheapest options are pretty good, considering I used one for years before investing in something with a screen. The hand-eye coordination will take some time to get used to, but SAI has a wonderful stabilizer to help you with any linework that you might want to do.

I had the intuos that was like a pad with a digital pen but it wasn't an ipad or anything it was a slab that hooked up to your pc so you drew on it and it made pictures from there to the pc

That depends on what you want to do
Smaller ones that are around A4 paper size (8.25" x 11.75" (21cm x 29.7cm)) can work for smaller, more compact works
but bigger tablets can be better if you have a larger monitor, work on bigger projects, want more room for broader pen strokes, etc.

You can change sensitivity and stability yourself in its programs and the art program, but I meant more like the tangible, physical feeling of how it is and if that would affect you or not

I remember buying the cheapest tablet available, a Wacom Bamboo Pen, back in 2012. It wasn't much, and ended up being incompatible with my upgraded computer around 2015. I had to buy the cheapest tablet again, but this time, it was Intuos brand, and it was way more advanced than the Bamboo Pen.

I busted out the tape measure. Medium being 13.2 x 8.5 with an active of 8.8 x 5.8 is a bit larger than I thought it would be.

It's definitely still doable with the medium sized tablet! But I admit it would be easier and quicker to work with a 12.1 x 8.4, though it will take time to get used to how broad you have to make the stroke for the tablet to register and move the cursor
Also puts you at higher risk for pain in the elbow and shoulder
