Well you gotta learn your anatomy and physiology in and out, then be flexible enough to try to bend the rules a little bit for some things since exaggeration can help a lot in more anime/manga artworks. Then you gotta work on foreshortening, if you want to do certain angles such as bird's eye, worm view, step on me, angled from any certain angle or distance, various poses, etc. Working on dynamic poses can really help a lot too with being more flexible in how you draw, since it'll help you practice getting out of static poses and into more fluid movements.

Also use reference if you really need it, though I don't use reference myself, so don't be like me. Though I've been doing a great job on it so far and I'm really happy with how my work's turning out. But for those starting out, looking at how muscles and skeletons are put together, how poses are made, and how flabs of fat and skin can meld together and fold can help out tremendously as well

Thankfully, "they" is quite neutral, and most won't be offended if you call them "they". Some might be.
Giving the option to chose - or not to chose - can often prevent any hurt feelings. I find it necessary these days.

Personally, I think most here won't start drama over a wrong pronoun. I wouldn't if someone said "he" to me. But in other places? Yeah...

Personally I believe the most separation you will find is that the internet "world" provides separate social spheres from the "real" world.

For instance, I rarely talk about my writing with my family. But I talk about it extensively with my online and physically-distant friends.

...But that doesn't mean key pieces of our personalities and identity, such as gender, religion, race, etc disappear.

Honestly, if you have enough of a nest egg saved up that you can get by for a few months without much pay, right now is the perfect time to try and start your own business. well, in short. at the end of one year my professor gives me all the pieces that I have to study during summer (july-september) and once october starts and the lessons with it, I have to bring them all and show my professor what I managed to do during summer. Afer that I get their feedback once a week and imporve the pieces until I have to know them by heart (some until the end of the first semester in february while the others by the end of the second semester in early june)

gl with it. Usually when I have to translate things into languages I'm not that fluent in yet, I just dump everything into google translate (some languages work better, some a bit less) and then I rearrange the parts that are weird or butchered

@sudden cairn moving here for now since not Palia but as far as streaming goes, discord goes into streamer mode and doesn't show/sound pings and messages, and if you just have window captures on (rather than entire screen display) it wouldn't capture pop ups anyway

Videos do give you more control with editing though. At least for me, editing is much more time consuming than streaming is - but either way content creation can be a fun thing to do

There's two other things I wanna note. Since KSP is what it is, it's a bit trial-and-error-y, so streaming obviously won't be fun with watching a guy drift through space for half an hour. Another is I hear horror of how sharp and mean Youtube's copyright crap is.

Thing is, we're tight on money. I've told him he wouldn't necessarily need a capture card if he got a pc. PC has a greater variety of games to stream. He needs a webcam, cuz it seems that people keep more interested in a stream if they can see the streamer. He needs to stop changing things so quickly with plugins and bots. He needs to also create a schedule and stick to it.

Took him like 6 months to get 100 followers and most of them were gained when he started streaming Minecraft Dungeons. So what does he still choose to stream? Call of duty :v

Webcam is definitely a big thing. And depending on what all he would be playing, capture cards don't have to be wildly expensive. I have a $12 one for my Nintendo switch that I use to stream

I suggest setting everything up, and doing a practice stream first - do everything except click "go live" and pretend that you are streaming.
And then, the first time you stream, I'll be honest - unless they follow you before hand, you'd be lucky to have more than 1 person watch.

Being popular enough to earn enough to cover bills is the goal for me at least. But I view beginning streaming more like going to school to learn. You don't get paid for that. In most cases you lose money. But the end goal is to get yourself to a place where you can earn money.
