Oh, absolutely. That's why seasons 1-5 were so strong, 'cause they had a reference. I don't really fault them for trying to tie up loose ends, but I cannot believe that they wrote the script for Season 8 and thought, "Yeah, this'll do." My favorite thing to watch is the compilations of actors in GoT expressing their passive disappointment. Like... how can so many people unanimously agree that they did the show dirty, but they were sitting in a room and thought what they were writing was good. WHO WAS GIVING INPUT AND OPINIONS.
