Okay, so

SN has less story right now. But you get through the story faster, and it's far easier than LN. The UI and content to start off with is overwhelming, you can ignore most of it if you want. I'd say to focus on events, but you're a bit late so don't worry too much on those for now.

LN has much more story, it gradually welcomes you to the game world and doesn't get into the drama until you've fallen in love with the world. But it's harder, more pressing/clicking things manually, and content is unlocked over time.

I would say, start with SN because it is easier. LN, I would say is more enjoyable, but more difficult. So if you can handle SN, then play LN. But it's up to you.

Also, SN happens after LN canonically but Nikki time travels to the past from LN to SN so it's a tiny bit spoiler-y. And SN's world seems more advanced than LN's even though it's in the past. Don't want to spoil the reasons why, though.

Again, if you need a guild in SN, let me know 🙂

I would say to play both, but you can burn out on it all, esp if you haven't reached "just dailies" on one yet.

Oh, and you can review stage stories any time, you can skip them and go back later if you want!
