NYC living is really different if you're not used to cities. I think my favorite thing was how despite how close in proximity we were, there's a huge sense of giving people their own space.

Yes!! They're very entertaining 🙂 The shrimp are fascinating, I've learned a lot since starting to keep them. The primary thing is that there are two popular types of shrimp: caridina and neocaridina. You said you had a cherry, that would be a neocaridina. The ones I have are caridina. Most neos and most caridinas can be kept together with their own type 🙂 It's a matter of checking the parameters for each. I know a little about keeping aquarium plants! Mine have only in the last two months started to really thrive. I had to trim them back this week, so at least SOMETHING is going right. 😅

If the context is that you see a female-presenting person and say 'excuse me, ma'am', that's probably fine. The person may correct you or, if it's just a brief or professional (workplace) interaction with you as a customer, they may not acknowledge the term at all. If they correct you, it would be bad form to keep calling them ma'am. I hope that clears it up.

It's probably also good to point out that there's context and nuance to literally all of this. Sometimes it's appropriate to proclaim your pronouns - other times not. Sometimes your misgendering of someone is an honest mistake - other times not. Sometimes it's grammatically, medically, or physically correct to describe a person in one manner but socially incorrect. That's why calling a woman sir can be correct (in military) and incorrect (after she's told you she prefers ma'am) at the same time.

One thing that's really important about the pronoun thing, at least to me, is that people who use pronouns meet people halfway. You're never going to help people understand your position or become amenable to it if you're hostile, so I recommend being chill and educating people as casually as you can. The people who will change their minds will only do so when they want to.

GPA is pretty simple, you take your grade for the class as a percentage then convert it into a four point system. So like in highschool I had a 2.7 because I'ma highschool dropout, but in college (till I dropped out) I had a 3.8 or similar

Community Leads/Managers are the people who are the front facing represenatives for the company or brand they represent, for example Neleimour is the Senior Community Lead for Palia. They handle direct communication (like this discord), working with content creators, and manage social media profiles. There likely is a community team for every active video game franchise.

I myself actively communicate with the Overwatch Community team and Blizzard Customer Service, because I spend time helping that community with problems like technical issues, disconnections, how to play the game, or earn rewards from watch rewards-enabled streams on Twitch or YouTube. I do that in my free time because I have a passion for engaging with others about games or media that I love.
