Instanced Houses? It'll feel a lot like that. Not committing to instanced housing plots atm

Currently our housing is instanced off in private spaces - there will be ways for players to show off their plots but it will not be so free [edit - as running by someone's home]. As such, there is no shortage of real estate for players to have access to housing.

Both outside and inside are instanced, but your friends can easily access your home if you wish for them to come over. There's no loading screen

Its really easy for friends and neighbors to visit and we'll be adding more controls too
Land Share? In the alpha this won't be possible, no. You can visit a friend's plot and help them build their building though.

Open House? We want players to be able to, but we're still exploring different ways of executing on this since there is a lot to consider to make it a good experience for everyone.

Cooperative housing is a huge goal for us

it's not like devs don't want to make changes. They probably didn't even see that essays
making changes in game is hard, it's not like "hey let's change that mechanic cause it sucks!". The changes need to go through a lot of people and answer question like "Do we have resources and time for making that change?" "What increase in profit we can suspect?" "Can we do X/Y/Z instead?"

I remember Dauntless, a long long long time ago I wrote a like over full page of issues with some cells, how they could be modified or improved. They still are working on fixing the same problems I pointed out 3 years ago >.>
I also pointed out some really good ways of monetising some stuff through bundling. It would have made players spend more money, and feel better about spending that more money and I am SO INFURIATED they STILL haven't done it. THEY HAVE BUSINESS DEGREES!!! Its so simple :<

So heres the thing. A lot of their skins follow a theme, for example they have a "steel" skin line that makes the weapons look very functional and simple. I suggested a bundle where you have a minor discount per item, but sell the bundle. This would have been good because most people only use 2-3 of their 6 weapons. Which means on average a player would be buying skins they wouldn't use, but they'd feel like they're getting a deal because they're paying less per item. This is legit the same philosophy that all those 1 for $2, 2 for $3.50 deals use. Would you have bought 2? probably not, but you save money per item, so you do and thus you spend more money and feel better about it.

I'm never going to get over that. It's been like 3 years. I'm never going to understand why they didn't want to make more money :<

I would not sell the bundle, I'd rather wait till Players shift to using other weapons and then attempt to sell skins for those weapons again. Using your bundle would give them skins to most weapons already, which is not good from the "seller" perspective. You ALWAYS want to make Players want more.
