How to make player generated tasks doable:
Interact with an object to open UI > Select materials / items / resource desired in stacks (this quantity is limited for other players to contribute or for a player to repeat for rewards.)
Next part will be selecting rewards per fulfillment of task: X amount of zenny/gold/gil/fantasy pesos per stack contributed for Y amount of times. (Y will have a maximum value that will not go beyond task giver's maximum money amount) bam.

Want more mats? Grind more gold, post more tasks. A whole eco system of player generated content.

What if you are a smith, and you need ore. But you are not interested in going out mining so you just post that you want ore and offer X in return. That turns into a daily quest or something other people can see. And if they accept it and "complete" the quest, the quest marker/whatever, will be removed. Could be a good way to create quests for people and make the neigbourhood/s help eachother.

this is why the player generated quest system works better. I never have to worry about materials so long as I maintain the financial eco system of the town with other constituents.

Also, because we aren't savages, town halls will be forum style voting. Instead of dragging the entire guild online for what could be a 15 minute email.

Well yeah, but skill in controlling a whole team either way is also a mastery that isnt just about topping dps. Since the healer has to mitigate if they ravage the aggro from tank and same goes for the tanks. Ive seen so many that tops dps, but they always go over aggroing in the desperate fight to come first at dps when others has to work twice as hard to hold the team alive because of it.

Yes. You have your cosmetic outfits, of which we already have a dazzling variety. You also have your tools, like pickaxe, fishing rod, butterfly net. These have quality tiers, but you only have one at a time, e.g. a higher-quality axe replaces the lower-tier one, you're not juggling both. There's a huge variety of harvestable and gatherable and craftable items that you can have in your inventory. Tools specifically, we do want it to be as easy and seamless as possible so you're not constantly swapping items and switching to inventory management after every activity.

Two weeks may not sound like much, but to someone who has lost his wife to pre-alpha, it is a lifetime. Two weeks ago, I could look at what my wife was doing on her computer, sharing in her entertainment. Two weeks ago, I didn't hear the words, "these stupid bugs" and wonder if she meant bugs in the game, or with the game. Two weeks ago, my wife didn't have to constantly stop in the middle of sentences because she was going to say something I'm not allowed to know.

At this rate, I don't know how I will make it until pre-alpha is over. Perhaps I can buy Passiontiger a huge wooden mallet with "NDA" engraved on the head, and she can just beat me into unconsiousness everyday. At least it would make the time go faster.
