So. Assuming that farming and making stuff from it is a big thing in Palia. How do you feel about biomes, and different crops and some plants requiring a specific biome?

Personally I like it. Because I think it will make people consider more where they want to live and also strengthen the need for trade.

But if our housing is instanced I don't see how it would work, since we don't actually "live" in the world, like in Minecraft

Yeah, I don't know how housing works in Palia with it being instanced, but a game with a lot of crazy cool trading mechanics is ArcheAge - where the spot on the map you placed your house will determine what sort of crops you can grow and then you are able to sail your ship or cart your cargo to other regions of the world to sell it at a higher price.

I like PvP when it's about skill-based competing, where the more skilled person triumphs. What I don't like is when PvP literally just stops me from being able to access features of the game.

So you like instanced pvp, not open world pvp

like, ArcheAge also had this thing of where some regions would go into "War" which meant that both factions could PvP anyone of the opposite faction with no repercussions for a limited time. Trying to actually do quests there while levelling your character is just impossible and all you can do is wait for like an hour.
