It's funny, WoW was the only mmo I didn't tank in... I tanked all through Rift when it came out, and did some of the most game breaking shenanigans.

Back before they figured out that Void Knights could turn caster bosses into joke encounters. We would get to a caster boss, and I'd call for a Bio break as the raid leader. Everyone but me, two healers, and a dps would go bio, and I'd pull the boss. Void Knight had the power to syphon off mana from enemies. And it turns out if you drain a caster boss's mana bar entirely, they have to resort to smacking you with melee attacks... that hit like a pool noodle.

So we'd use the caster bosses as pre-set bio break bosses. And people would go do their thing, and then come back and dps when they were finished...

The dev's caught wind of it and that changed shortly after...

Soooo after watching the game trailer, I got a Stardew Valley/Sea of Thieves vibe from the game. What are the thoughts on that assessment? What am I missing? Because I am a huge fan of open world games and MMOs and I am also a huge fan of Sea of Thieves and Stardew, so this is sounding like a game I could really get into

Sea of thieves is... a weird one.. its usually a team of 4 against the world.. but you never experianced fun till youknow the trill of chasing people down with the meglodon pushing you to them faster because it glitched on your boat..
