Mmm.. that's really not much for a game development. Those numbers mean nothign, considering we do have a functioning game. Just.. buggy and with obviously bad product manager decisions

Also, just VERY crude math of dividing that 50 mil between 60 months for 200 people gets us to 4200 per person. That's nothing for develoeprs and managers, and does not take into account upkeep like offices, softwares, etc etc

they help a lot, but you don't have too, the logs though preferably with a time/date will help no end though.

Their ticket submitting system is automated to the point where I see most tickets will go to the "here but forgotten" pile. Unless you provide them with plenty of stuff (like logs, captures etc) and push their next automated response of "To further look into this" to actually engage in a conversation.. there's not even much point.
I understand they probably get a lot of useless submissions (useless as in if visual/log proof is not there, they can't really do anything to look into it and can, at most, note that maybe someone else had similar issue).

there's been chit and chat yep, for now though the zones are small enough that stables boards work just fine - will have to see if they keep maps similar in size to bahari or bigger warranting mounts

I would love to be able to quick travel from anywhere but to a certain quick travel point. Haven't really missed having a mount so far. But I can see why it would be enjoyable!

I'd love mounts at some point. Might make Kilima Village feel a bit small, and wouldn't be as useful in Bahari Bay because of the level of vertical design, but would still be nice to have IMO

More movement options are always appreciated... we'll never get to the level of GW2 mounts, but that's fine

I see the pinned guide for weekly gifting, but i'm looking for something else... I want to know what are the fewest possible, most efficient items to carry around while gifting all villagers each day?

For example, it's really easy to collect Fur and Sundrop Lilies, but those 2 gifts only go so far. Other NPCs take super easy things like copper ore, or some even take Arrows which i always carry with me anyway.

So if I'm setting out for the day to gift all villagers, I don't need to carry 20 different items with me.. Get what I'm saying? Anybody know of a spreadsheet or guide for this?

Essentially, i'm looking for the least common denominators of Gifts.

Yeah, i havn't inentionally tested it yet. But i am pretty sure i've given the same gifts to villages multiple days in a row. Because i take a stack of Fur with me every day and just hand it out.

also I think the can't give twice a week thing applies only to the weekly requests, not all gifts? but I can't remember for sure. but the weekly requests are weighted a LOT more heavily than the things they'll accept every day, and sometimes something they accept every day is their weekly request and it stops them from being able to accept it again that week

Using this site, I found the easiest gifts are Fur, Arrows, Shells, Copper Ore, QualityUp Fertilizer, and then a few randoms. The only villagers who fall outside of these items are Delaila (Chapaa Meat), Eshe (Copper Bar), Jina (Mountain Morel), Reth (Knapweed or Chapaa Meat).

So there ya go. Just carry around those handful of items if you wanna be lazy and not really follow a weekly gifting guide.

nah use what you like, it won't make your apples ⭐ , but with levels you'll eventually (25+) see no none stars anyways

what that one does though is give you max apple yield, need no water and need no weeding

but if you're after apples with a 2x3 for exp/max yield (ignoring stars until the above hits), then:

You can buy fireworks and fire them off yourself. The Maji Market has an AMAZING fireworks dispaly as well as custom fireworks you can collect. Be sure to be there next time it comes around!

I've been getting some cozy ideas

1. Imagine riding your dyeable bicycles up and down the paths of Kilima. Obviously mounts would have to be something they're particular and discerning with, because it will break immersion if they go too wild with it and make them too fast, but bicycles are perfect for a quiet village and even a bustling city
2. Being able to lay down a picnic blanket and 'eat'/drink wine/etc near a waterfall with a few friends. I just sat behind the dragon place where the waterfall is for a while yesterday while snacking IRL, and it was pretty peaceful

Once you get it the first time, you should be able to get on top of that mesa on the NW side, once on top of it, do it again and pickaxe while in the beginning of midjump and as you're going down, if you aim right, you'll land right on to it.

There would be no need for the glider, you would even over jump it, if you don't time the distance right.

Well that was refreshing. I found the flow tree grove on my own despite the callout being in japanese. Everybody waited. When the last person came and got their one chop in, we asked if we could start chopping by jumping up and down in front of a tree, and everyone agreed by jumping up and down in front of the same tree. Went smoothly. I can work with this.

Fun possibility. Pull all chat data during the beta, parse it for the most common phrases and such, then implement them along side the emotes as a fast message system that can auto translate between supported languages and allow switch players to do basic conversation faster as well.

I agree with the Switch player side and for the simplicity point. Now as for in-game translation, we could have an auto-translator that functions very much the same as it would for websites. I'm honestly surprised games as of today don't have this feature. When I type in English, you should see it as Yiddish, Hindi, Or whichever language you're custom to.

yeah. palia doesnt reward you at all for exploring, even if your on a new account because all of the stuff you get is easily obtainable once you reach a certain point. all you get are pretty views but even those are lackluster

the bug is almost identical to the fire temple flow stones way back, basically 1 person per instance of said map could get the item; everyone else could not - in this case 1 person per 25 instance may get it, the rest will not, extra bugs within that bug this time

My hubs and I binged Palia over our holidays - lots of bugs! Often annoying! But we kept remarking at how fun everything was and that it was free, so 🤷🏼 If I paid for a product and it was buggy I'd be super upset.
