If I sign in with my email what the heck will happen with my characters? Which one I going to get? And if I dont sign in I have to start all over again? I got it to work! I had the other person go in select what they were going to trade and then I went in and selected what I did and that worked for me. Try that and see if that works for you

Is anyone else having trouble with their flowering pots shrinking their big bushes down to the start and now completely not letting you taking the plants out at all?

Are the flower bushes from the flower event bugged? When I logged in all the ones on my plot were all as if I just planted them and they keep reverting back to stage one after in game days of watering them. So they never grow 😩

Actually the Switch makes it so much easier to find plants you can pick up, since they are the only flora that exist! I'll give it that. And animals/bugs don't have fake bushes and flowers to run into/behind.
