Anyone else lately notice to crash a lot on the switch. Last week I crash at least 3 times a day, especially when in the underground or on other ppls housing plots

I have had the game crash on me much more lately. I did a fix where I moved data on my switch to an SD card and only had Palia data on my switch. That seemed to fix the problem temporarily but the crashing is happening again. I will swap the data and see if that helps. I also have had internet issues which may be part of my problem personally.

I would say try moving data to SD and see if that helps. Also, check for corrupted data from the switch app settings. *NOTE: when the check is complete, you need to reinstall the app which can take a few hours. (I learned the hard way on this 😅)

Honestly, the switch crashes were better after the last update. Then it switched to just plain server drops which leaves you moving about the map you are on but unable to do anything, then it starts you over as if you were idle too long. Now the regular full game crashes are ticking up again.

If I’m not mistaken, that 3000 limit includes the flower limit and the building block limit.

Also you can see your total item limit in game unfortunately. You just gotta keep putting stuff in there until you hit it.

That's the limit of buildings / addons you can put.

The limit of furniture and such is not shown ingame, not on switch nor on PC)

For checking the limit some folks recommend using the Paliapedia app, but I haven't used and as such can't tell you more

Ahhhhhh, Tish’s level 5 quest? Yeahhh, that dang Ruby is the rarest gem in the game 🫂 Took me two months of hunting to find it. You can find it in Palium nodes across Bahari. And if you have any, ore compasses really help a lot. They track the large iron nodes and all 3 sizes of Palium! Gather a few of those ore compasses and this map where ore can pop up and it helps a LOT. I’ve had better luck looking for them in The Outskirts and down by pulswater plains and around the mines, like all in the lower half of the map! People also call out where the ores are in the chat sometimes and it’s super helpful!! Lemme go get that map

No they do grow when you’re not on Palia, in fact they grow pretty quickly in general, so when you’re offline they usually grow until harvest time

I have hydrating fertilizer on and they didn't consume fertilizer. I actually just noticed it yesterday maybe and today.

I noticed my plants stopped growing as quickly as well. I plant them so they don't need to be watered but I realize that now when I go in, they don't go as far in their growth as they usually do.

So if you join a party (up to four people) you have a lot of cool things. One is that if you're within 35m I think it is, you can loot what a party member looted. So if they caught a bug, even if you didn't throw the bomb, you can still have it. If they chop a tree, you get the loot. You have chance of double loot (double loot drops are green and glowy) and you earn XP towards party tier items. It's growable furniture. So you need a certian XP to unlock each item, there's a daisy chair, table, stool, light etc It's all very cute

It's just a nice way to earn more stuff, hang out with people and such

Yeah!! In parties you gain a certain amount of xp so for each 10k you get one of the growable furniture, so 50k in total!

cake parties is like speedrunning baking the celebration cake with other players, giving everyone a chance to collect the cake and use it as they want. each step is broken down into a role for people to focus on and streamline the process. aka teamwork makes the dreamwork

I make harvest boost fertilizer, plant apple trees, use the harvest boost fertilizer, turn the star quality ones into apple jam(I have several preserves barrels going at all times),keep what I need and sell the rest.

For the glow worm farm I have tested and got these results for harvest boost:

Sernuk meat-4 harvest boost fertilizer
Muujin meat-4 harvest boost fertilizer
Chapaa meat- 3 harvest boost fertilizer
Wild green onion-3 harvest boost fertilizer
Wild ginger-4 harvest boost fertilizer
Wild garlic-4 harvest boost fertilizer
And for the regular worm farm:

Morel mushroom- harvest boost
Wild green onion- 3 harvest boost fertilizer
Wild garlic-4 harvest boost fertilizer

Being on the switch doesn't make any difference to hotpot other than it takes an extra second or so on your turn to click the cards. It's an easy and fun game to play and win

Hi, trying to make a plot for cooking parties and wanted to try to make sure it was Switch player friendly. Anything you've noticed about cooking parties that can help or hurt switch players?
I think I've heard busy plots can be troublesome. Was curious if the landscapes cause Switch players issues. Also saw a request for switch players' stations to be moved outside before but not sure why.

The issues I’ve had with cooking parties is mostly busy plots. I think the request for moving the switch stations outside is mostly because if there are a lot of ppl in a small space, then it gets very laggy and it’s easier to crash. Idk about landscapes but having some space between the stations and making sure they aren’t crowded together does help on the switch end

Like apparently the reason why it won’t work with a lite switch is because of the dock that the normal (console) switch and the oled switch have is what allows for streaming via a hdmi lead to a monitor and tv

Yeah but you can hook up an android phone iPhone or iPad to the tv with an adapter so theoretically it should just show the screen on another screen

Oh I have too, it crashes no matter how bare I keep it, but it is definitely more when I have more stuff around. I think it’s server space really. Plus it’s a lot for the switch to handle. I think the next switch will be better equipped to handle Palia, as long as they keep working on things.

like genuinely, the mechanics of acnh fishing works the exact same way as one of the tests i had to do to get diagnosed i had to focus on a screen and press a button when i heard a specific number(noise), AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT ACNH FISHING DOES

yea it was weird cause everything else was screened off, so you can only focus on the screen, and i felt so focused, yet i somehow still managed to miss several button presses apparently that is of course not the only test you do to determine it tho, so you probs won’t have to worry, esp if you have animal crossing fishing experience

I'm trying to collect the seeds from my flow trees but when I press a I can't collect them they're not letting me collect anybody else having that problem

It seems like the a button won't work when you're even trying to repair your tools

I will say that mining, I feel like the drops of gold and gems is higher in this patch
