This inaugural meeting of the Badruu Appreciation Society will come to order! 🧑🌾
Wishlist - pumpkins. Pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pasties. Pumpkin bread! Big sprawly 9 plot pumpkins. And a higher soil limit.

i just want a higher soil limit and for trees to have their own "contract" like with storage limits and stuff like that how you can have x amount but you gotta pay for more building contracts
more soil definitely needed 💯
I'd love to plant fruit trees around my plot as actual trees, still trees you can harvest, but also so they look nice around the plot :) but right now that means I can't farm anything else because the soil would all be used up.
Blueberry bushes too, but they don't take a full soil, so you can't place them around the plot in an aesthetically pleasing way at the moment. :(
i really really really REALLY really also really want to cover my plot in flowers like hydrangeas and hyacinths since i see them all over the village. (did i mention i really want this?)
After update still soil become grassy after switching from one plot to another, it's annoying 😦
Hi Aren!
let the farming commence! Hehe
that bug is from the previous patch
Yeah... and patches should repair this... but maybe next time 🙂
More soil plots pleeeeeeease
I reported that the other day :). seemed to be a new bug after they appeared to fix the earlier variant where it always did rather than just switching plots. If you’re a 1 plot player - no issue
if i'm over 100 gardening, that means every crop will be ⭐ ?
I think so 25+ is star crops
thats for star seeds, but for normal is like 75+?
50 for normal, star crop chance is around 50% from star seeds, 2% per farming level
does anyone have a layout for multiple crop yield? specifically cooking crops?
i feel like most of the layouts i've seen are gathered towards high sale value, so i'm just curious if someone's got something
any specific crops you want for cooking? This is a basic layout that gives 100% harvest boost, you can put any crops you need in the empty spaces. If you want wheat you can replace corn or rice with it:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN
oh you gem
thank you
i was looking also for like, blueberry/apples, but i guess i can sacrifice a plot or 2 for pies
if you want a blueberry+apple layout, you can try this one (also good for profit; only 4 speedGro on tomato every replant (or you can skip it); you can add water retain fert on blueberry and rice in the middle for 100% water if you want):https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-P.HpAAR.HAAPAA-APT.SAWRABB-PR.HP.HpAAAAAA-T.SRBPWBAAA-BBBBR.HBBBB-AAABWPBRT.S-AAAAAAP.HpR.HP-BBARWAT.SPA-AAPAAR.HAAP.Hp
but speed boost has some bugs that require adjusting your play style, check speed boost section in my guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1f4MQHjEC1RCNpDUz1I3eg2tioD_6yBmW0XWsVxUOJ1Y
if you just want 1 apple for cooking, you can take the previous layout and add it in one of the corners, like one of those 2 options:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-PAATAAPAA-ARNACrNARN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNNRN-NRNNCrNRCrR-NRNNCrNNRN-NRPNCrTNRP-AAAAAAAAA
the only important part it to get 100% harvest boost on all crops for optimal yield
!!!! oh my god you goddsend thank you sooo much
This is awesome! Gonna use this a lot making different layouts!
The... The app? The app isn't mine lol
Well, still thanks for posting it here for people to see!
test
helloo i was sent here.
anybody got a good AFK farm setup with minimal work / maximum reward? 🤣 decided to revamp my garden to give me a break for a while :)
any specific crops you're looking for? or just as much gold as you can get for raw crops, or do you want preserves or seeds?
can do preserves/raw crops but seeding kinda annoys me, looking to incorporate as many crops as possible, ideally all, mostly apples/bloobs ofc for max profit
im following a great one ATM that i found elsewhere. 113k with preserves. i think this is OK for now but down the line ill be switching out some rice/corn for wheat. however im always looking for better :)
alright i'll see what i can come up with. Is your gardening above 25? and will you be using mainly star seeds to plant?
full star seeds, but not above 25 yet. soon 🤞
This is one for a post 25, i didn't read this till after it was done. slightly less over all gold but full harvest buff and completely hands off; I'll work out a pre-25 gonna eat real dinner be back soon
thank u soso much for ur effort :) i could use both pre and post for when i do hit 25 anyways <3
Sounds good, I'll message when I complete the pre-25 🙂
hope this helps 🙂
thank you so much for the effort they’re great <3 @pallid gate
came up with one more for pre-25: 118k and almost 4k a day, it's strictly if you're looking to make money and didn't care about apples, blueberries and peppers.
can be converted to post 25 by replacing quality fert with weedblock
Hey Palians!
My English is very bad, so I apologize first.
I am looking for an overlay for my garden.
I want to build it for maximum profit and water the plants myself, so there must be no tomatoes/potatoes.
it's okay for me if I had to process the harvest before the profit is at maximum. Does anyone already have a garden overview for this?
here is laziest setup i'm using. No watering, no weeding, no fertilising (better sell them) and max apples for profit
Without potatoes you will want to do Corn and Wheat:
116,280 and about 3,876 a day.
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-CrWCrWCrWCrWCr-WCrWCrWCrWCrW-CrWCrWCrWCrWCr-WCrWCrWCrWCrW-CrWCrWCrWCrWCr-WCrWCrWCrWCrW-CrWCrWCrWCrWCr-WCrWCrWCrWCrW-CrWCrWCrWCrWCr
If you do potato but no tomato you can get better profit:
128,352 and about 4,278 a day.
and of course you would still water the potatoes because they don't have buffs on themselves. unless you used water retain fert but you said you wanted to water so yea. I figured that was a no.
Thanks!
i need a garden layout that focuses on cotton (for fabric for crafting) and cake-party crops. I’m only level 10 gardening. I’m also really bad at making sure I check each day to weed/water. If anyone has any ideas, I’d greatly appreciate it
Hi folks! Been a while but I've updated Palia Garden Planner with a whole new design by frnkrs
!
The UI re-work improves on the planner's visuals and should now be easier to use, it also gives me room to work on new features and content >:D
In addition, ⏩ Growth Boost is now supported and can be enabled via the settings (ty to gazar especially for providing info with this).
More info at the changelogs!
Thank you guys once again for using the garden planner, I'm truly thrilled that so many of you have managed to make use of it
i'll work something out for ya give me a lil bit and I'll message you back
Well you are a boss ❤️ thank you and those who helped you, for such a awesome tool! Keep up the great work!
Here is a pre-25 maximizing what you are interested in cotton and cake party ingredients the first one is if you have enough worm farms to produce harvest fert which is a tall order.
The second is a bit more creative with crops and more friendly for those starting their gardening adventures. The fertilizer would be Weedblock which is purchasable at Zeki's.
I'll keep tweaking though if i come up with something a bit better i'll let you know.
hey, one more issue - growth boost for tomato is wrong. It should have harvests on days 3,4,6,8 (has 3,5,7, 9)
found this one off Pinterest if anyone wants to use it. I added the fertilizer though since it wasn’t there on the original picture. 2.4K a day and 72k every 30 days. Has 100 percent star quality and 96 percent water retain. The only downside is that you need multiple different kinds of fertilizer to do this one. Unless you want to skip that part. There are five crops missing from this plan so anyone wanting to use all crops won’t find this one helpful. 2 apple tree and 3 blueberry bushes.
Ty once more, should be fixed now
Issue was related to not factoring in the leftover days from the tomato's initial growth stage when simulating harvest days
It seem like your plot have like some till and untill land so you can only move a 3x3 dirt blocks i think
So you either wait for them to untill all and move or you have to destroy the crop and move when everything is until it will go away eventually
Press h and you will see what you can and can move
I was moving garden to another plot and if I am not wrong it doesn't matter if you plant until squares disappear or just harvest and stop planting anymore. From what I see it depends on time, not how many times you plant (or maybe both). When you plant you earn money but also have more work. And tbh I have no idea if something changed after last patch... for sure you can remove seed by right-clicking with hoe but didn't try with squares 🤔
Beginner question, but (for example) how long does the Weedblock fert last for? Just one crop? Just one cycle between 6am and 6pm? Asking because harvest boost (used on fruit bushes and trees) seems to disappear quickly. Put it on the game morning, game evening it's gone? doesn't show on "examine"?
Yep. One Palian day.
you need to use 1 unit per day for full boost. E.g. using 4 unit on potato (5 day grow) will leave you with 4/5 chance to get harvest boost. You can stack fertilizer charges.
weedblock/water retain lasts 1 day
my plot design if you are planning to attend apple cake parties, apple pie parties, bouillabaisse parties using black sea bass, vampire crab pot pie parties, and chili oil dumpling parties. these recipes are mostly done for profit and for focus food.
plot layout is focused on apples because the lfg channel most of the time has apple cake parties. apple pie needs wheat and apples. bouillabaisse needs potato, onion, and wheat. vampire crab pot needs corn, onion, potato, and wheat. chili oil dumpling needs wheat, rice, pepper, and any veggie.
plot design is suited for those who are planning to join cooking parties in #1143270926394335282
What is the difference between before and after level 25?
star crop chance is around 2% per gardening level and 50% from star seeds, at lv 25 you no longer need quality boost to get 100% star crop chance from star seeds
what Gazar said. Meaning no need for cotton and technically no need for peppers unless you want them for fabric / cooking respectively.
Oh, cool. Thank you!
Thank you so much. Brilliant. Very helpful, thanks.
what about preserves for Peppers? They're not bad value, better than carrots for example.
converting peppers to preserves generates decent profit/h (in general all preserves generate similar profit per h, differences are mostly because of rounding), but crops alone are the least profitable and that part hurts the overall profit. you can check my spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1f39XkRS-H6WaeKaCwS_iyLZVhTvmfpu14irjb8K9awU/edit#gid=992716853
Again, Gazar is speaking the truth. Also something to note: due to time it takes to turn things into preserves and time it takes to grow, some things that seem like they would be better (as in they show a higher gold sale value) are actually slightly less due to the time it takes. Carrots may not be the best preserve but if you need the weedblock and you aren't using fertilizer it's still something to consider as it is one of the quickest turn arounds for both growth and preserve creation. **From my observations
really depends on the variables of what you "want" and "need" to round out your garden.
Yes, makes sense. Time sink versus gold return.
anyone else having to water their crops the next day even with the water retain buff?
you sure it's not weeds? Some ppl reported having problems with water retain (i think it was fertilizer, not 100% sure), but my plot is working as intended (water retain works on both crop boost and fertilizer)
here is that post i saw yesterday: #🤝│game-help message, maybe compare layouts and look for pattern to report a bug.
I think I'm finally done obssessing over this. All crops with 100% weed prevention and water prevention
I realized that maybe if you keep 'ready to harvest' tomatoes/potatoes for next day and soil underneath them become dry they may not give that water retain buff anymore, not sure but had the same problem when left my garden for longer 🤔
Hey guys
What have you been using lately to get a lot of Glow worm? What about normal worms? In this case, to use and to sell
full spreadsheet for worms (by bella): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tr5KdvomPxOsA93HC9S7vDdP_bnffWifpwwQPCectdg/edit#gid=0
formulas:
glow worm = value/50 [rounded; min 1; midpoint rounded down]
fertilizer (harvest/speedGro) = 2 + value/10 [rounded; midpoint rounded down]
regular worm = 2 + value/10 [rounded; midpoint rounded down]
quality fert = 6 + value/4 [rounded down]
if you want a lot of worms and/or speedGro use cake, otherwise use morel from zeki or leftover meat for easy 1 worm
Thanks
Sharing my CEY'S PIE / CAKE MAKER farm layout I made for 300+ apples and 250+ blueberries per full harvest, maximum growth rate and maximum harvest rate, plus wheat for pies (can subsitute wheat for rice or corn), requires weeding and watering
reminder that if you use star quality seeds all harvests will be star quality
post- level 25 correct. Pre-25 even star seeds have a chance to produce normal quality yield.
ah okay, tysm! I'm higher level so I never would have noticed
Has anyone shared a weed prevention & water retention plan for a 4x2? I use one for a landscaping area by my front door 😅
I use starred pickled potaotes, as it gets me up to the 2 glow worms an hour without any cooking effort on my part. Starred pickled corn works too, but not as much fertilizer
i think it's easier to just have 2 glow worm farms running on morel from zeki, than 1 preserves jar + 1 glow worm farm processing potato (it takes 1:56 for preserves+glow worm anyway). Unless you also need fertilizer or have limited glow worm farms (since they use flow wood)
blueberry/apple jam might be worth it for speedGrow
Yup, I did morels for the glow worms until I realized I wanted speedgrow for my large crops and started making blueberry jam.
Oh nice - gonna have to give this one a try.
Well I'm at max crafters and I have 16 preserve jars and 4 glow worm farms set up. No reason I couldn't switch it around, but I haven't as of yet. And yeah, I use a lot of harvest boost on my garden. I maximized the growth boost and water retain, so harvest is what I add constantly.
Press h?
I was in a similar situation. It can be a bit frustrating. But destroying some crops actually helped me with last bit of plants to turn soil barren
Is the weed block fertilizer working or is it still worked?
DEVs, we need more gardening plots.
Anyone got this? Kinda want to see it before buying
ty
When is the best time to use fertilizer? Right after I plant and water for the first time?
you need to use 1 unit per day for full boost. E.g. using 4 unit on potato (5 day grow) will leave you with 4/5 chance to get harvest boost. You can stack fertilizer charges.
Oh wow that's cooler than I expected.
I'm still saving for the well but dang.
well is worth to save for though, since we can refill can from it
Yeah that's why I want it, so I can move my unsightly garden out of the way
I got sad when i just went to buy more and the max is 9.. why 😦
Most likely due to this being Beta, the Devs are still balancing plot buffs and 9 was a good starting base. If they expand it will change the dynamic of how plants can fit and interact on the board. It probably will change at some point, but for now I think it's safe to say it's not a priority, yet.
Does it do anything
I dunno man. I kinda want a few crops for well rounded cooking but otherwise I just want money and stuff for cake parties and my worm bins. Any feedback on this one?
I have similar... everything for cooking and the rest going to 15 preserves jars and 8 seeders 😅 I don't take part in parties, and I use apple jam to feed my glow worms, for fishing which gives me even more money. And have enough SpeedyGro to use it for my bushes.
if you don't need the cotton for the things you said above, you don't really need them in your field, is something i caught at a glance. I'll see if I can tweak anything else
is there a reason you have Day 20 as your Last Harvest?
No I don't know why it's set to that
But I want some cotton on hand. And it has a nice sell price.
Mind if I steal your garden plot format? lol
It is your field 🙂 I wouldn't try to tell you what to do hehe. However, if you're looking for raw crop gold and "cake stuffs" versus (long wait time profits) you should consider that each plot point should maximize what you are trying to achieve. Which would look slightly different depending on your method. As you see Jane has chosen long wait time profits via her crops being turned in preserves and seeds.
If I didn't want you to try I wouldn't share 😉 I know it's not perfect but I am too lazy to change it 😂
I totally appreciate the feedback! I know I've needed cotton from time to time, but I was thinking about just not having it anymore and buying it when I need it.. but the sell price is okay, so I'm unsure-? I'm conflicted on the second apple tree but I feel like 2 each of bloob and peppers is good.
I tried some alternative layouts but I guess I'm stuck because I keep getting about the same output. Jane's looks amazing tho.
That's true... you can go anywhere, for example for fishing meantime to earn more... cake parties also need time and hard work. I can go out after I plant, stay away for almost 2 days, back before 6 am, plant, plant again after 6 am, refill jars and seeders and I am free ☺️
I would like that. And I tend to wait a few days until I'm back anyway.
Actually, I just saw the processing part that you can add. I think I'm good?
And throw those jams to the worms for a lil extra
You see... your is more profitable than mine 😁
I like money.
Still on the fence about those cottons but if I turn them into seed when I'm not using them I guess they aren't causing any harm.
Thanks for the perspective!
Nope, it's just a decoration
i'm looking to make the most profitable, yet lazy crop layout possible
- post-25
- no weeding
- no watering
- no fertilizers
so far I've been using this, jarring carrots/onions/corn and seeding tomatoes/potatoes. I get a little bit of extra money worming the jarred stuff - does anyone have something more profitable?
It looks really good 🙂 Instead of making seeds you can put potatoes and tomatoes into the jars too and make seeds from rice and check the difference.
besides cakes, what produces speedygro fert?
all sweet food (sweet leaf, apple, blueberry and dishes made from them)
ty!<3
I'm post 50 now and am trying to figure out if it might be worthwhile to buy seeds from Zeki again. I use gazar's Potato/Rice/Tomato/Corn layout. Napkin math has me thinking that Corn and Tomato Seeds are worth buying from Zeki but the crops I seed (Potato/Rice) aren't. Is this correct?
it should not be cheaper to buy seeds post lv 50 than craft your own (since they cost double value at zeki, so still more than starred). But i do use the extra unstarred seeds you get sometimes from seed maker for replanting.
Ah yes, I think I messed up the opportunity cost of not preserving the crop vs. multiple seed output by seeding to replace crops...For example opportunity cost of Seeding one corn is not 90 but 22.5, while Zeki sells the seed for 30.
If you seed 3 Tomatoes into 2 Seeds you miss out on 153 Revenue but since 2 Seeds cost 160 from Zeki it is still is better to reseed with the Seed maker.
At least I can use those normal seeds from the seed maker like you said, and normal seeds you get from Zeki coins.
slight monetary improvement but otherwise that was really well done. Not sure if 2k makes a difference though in the scheme of 30 days.
or if you purchase Weedblock of 4,860 to weed proof your garden for 30 days. You gain a profit of 13k. 132,151 - 4,860 = 127,291.
Hope these help!
It feels like the Gardener's Growhouse item you get from Einar should be plantable and harvestable. That would count as a 10th plot.
I mean I'm sure it would be super easy to script before the next update. SUPER easy.
Just sayin'.
@pallid gate @sterile cape thank you both for the feedback, i’ll ruminate on these ideas. I like money, but I also like being lazy
I use that for money making too. However I do rice corn in groups and potatoes the rest.
Making potatoes into seeds is more profitable (18g diff with pickled potatoes), meanwhile putting tomatoes into jars is more profitable.
Wait really?
Comparing time you need to produce both, jars are a little better (if I checked/counted well) but difference isn't big
potato preserves are more g/h, but less g per potato. If you are at machine cap (produce more crops than you can process) you should go with mixed preserves/seeds, if not go for seeds.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1f39XkRS-H6WaeKaCwS_iyLZVhTvmfpu14irjb8K9awU/edit#gid=1541987521
in most cases, if you can preserve it that is better then seeds
Makes sense. I didn't think about the g/h. I just go with what's more regardless of time bec I don't play so much
Hi all, so sorry for my noobness, but I'm trying to figure out how that plan thingy everyone sends in here works. Is there a manual which I can read? Is it correct you still have to work on your garden every day for the removal of weed and watering, or can you just leave it for 30 days and come back (since I read '30 days' everywhere). Do you have to count how many seeds you will be needing for replant for 30 days (since they all have different harvest days). So sorry for bothering you pro's, but I have tried several so far and it just doesn't seem to work since I don't understand the concept of it 🙂
Each crop has some effects they give to nearby crops such as water prevention or weed prevention or boost quality
If you hover over any seed you'll see what it does or you can look online
Any plant boosted by water retention won't need watering otherwise you have to water everyday
Thanks so much for your help! Do you know if there is some guide which can help me to understand this all?
This is farming wiki
https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Gardening
You can look for farm layouts or YouTube videos for better understanding
is there a good layout that incorporates 4 apple trees? goal is to be mostly self-tending, and make some decent gold
this is the one I am currently using, happy for some pointers for improvement
Do you plan on selling the raw yield, preserves or seeds? That will really be the determining factor on the gold you are getting. As I see from your layout currently you haven't indicated which you currently are doing.
i am turning mostly everything into preserves, the wheat/rice i just sell raw
I'll factor that in and see what i can come up with. By self-tending you would like the plot to be tended by itself, or do you mean you yourself plan to tend it? Sorry if this is a lot of questions just making sure i understand your request.
ooh youre right, i worded that badly sorry 😅
I meant the garden should require low maintenance (no watering, weeding, if possible), but i dont mind using some watering fertilizer I can stack
appreciate the help!!
of course 🙂
Let me know if you have any issue with this one. Should get you a decent chunk of change. Using 4 Apple trees and seeing you can purchase weedblock for the same amount as hydropro from Zeki you can just cover the field.
However if you'd prefer some Weed protection by use of carrots and onions you can consider this one which has slightly less money but you save some in the lack of purchasing bulk weedblock.
My last thought for now would be a middle ground of some fertilizer purchasing and crops to pick up the slack
thank you so much

really appreciate it!!
does anyone have a layout that has all the crops (including corn & peppers) with water retaining 100% ?
i'm playing with the planner but i'm terrible at it lol, closest i've gotten is 95 with this layout https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-CrPTPBBTBB-OPOTTTCoPCo-TPCrSpSpPSpSpT-CWCrTTPCWCr-AAAAAAAAA-CrWTPTPCrWT-TSpSpPSpSpCrPT-RCrRPTPOPO-BBTBBPTPCr
can any big-brained individals help me?
replaced some tomato with potato, now has 100 water:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-CrPTPBBTBB-OPOPTPCoPCo-TPCrSpSpPSpSpT-CWCrPTPCWCr-AAAAAAAAA-CrWTPTPCrWT-TSpSpPSpSpCrPT-RCrRPTPOPO-BBTBBPTPCr
thank you so much!!
If you're also interested in weed prevention: #🌱│gardening message
ooh thank you! i dont mind a few weeds for knapweed but i'll have a tinker with this layout.
Me
I have all the crops with 100% water and 100% harvest (using 8 fertilizer in this part)
Harvest fert is the easiest to get
I posted mine here: #🌱│gardening message if you want to check 🙂 Is similar to yours I think, has everything, less potatoes/tomatoes, water retain 100%, weeds not...
looking forward to trying this!
got a question, do i have to put my plots in the big 9x9 square for all the boosts or is it possible to have a good farm with a different shape?
Is there any way (a calculator, for example) to get an idea of when the preserves and jellies will be ready? Like, I add a certain amount of carrots and this tool would tell me how long it would take for them all to be finished
Not that I know of. But looking up the pickling/jamming time on the wiki and multiplying should be easier than using a tool imo
https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Preserves_Jar
Saw someone with all their farms lined up and a full harvest boost/watered treeline, so its possible to do other stuff for sure. Im not that creative.
Anyone else having this bug of when you place Fertalizer the numbers don't go up and it doesn't count no matter how many you put on said crop? I've lost prob like 500 Harvest boost because sometimes it doesn't count.
I thought maybe it was just a bug of not putting the numbers up of how many but they need more pretty soon after i put like 10 etc on ( i know it works cause some around them works fine. )
This was just explained to me in #🦋│issues-discussions Ones that have harvest boost buffs won't have the bonus of harvest fertilizer is how I understood it-
So the ones that have buffs from other crops can't have boosts from what ever fertilizer we use ?
Ah i read their reply to you. so weird cause some of them do work for me that's right next to a crop with boost lol
I want an AFK farm but with as many apple trees as possible does someone have a layout for that?
I'm having that confusion too; say the blueberries have quality and growth boost already- I can put quality boost and see the numbers go up? Same with the growth boost. But specifically harvest boost on plants that already have that bonus? It's really difficult when the game still lets you spend all the fertilizer even when it's not affecting anything
That or I must not be getting it fully
Maybe something like this? Not huge money but 'afk' option for sure. If you add harvest boost fertilizer will have more, or change onions and carrots for rice and/or wheat and/or corn and add weed blocker. https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA
thanks ill try it out
Yeah, better probably use wheat and corn instead of carrots and onions and add weed blocker because you will have to replant less often, carrots and rice you will have to replant every 3 hours 🤔
Yes 🙂 You can try if it works as you expected
thanks!
Not sure if asked before, but can you get more soil plots for another housing plot? Or do we just get the 9 total no matter what?
Only the nine, no extras for your other plots ... yet. Maybe in far off future updates they'll let us have more, we can only hope.
k
it would only make sense honestly if new crops are introduced we need way more space xD
Yes, here's mine. https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-11111-01111_CROPS-A.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.H-P.HAAT.HAAP.HAA-AAAAAAAAA-APAATAAPA-AACr.HpAAW.HpAAR.Hp-TBBPBBCrR.HpW-BBBBBBPTR-BTBBPBW.HpCrR.Hp-BSpSpBSpSpWPT Lots of apple trees and blueberries, really close to complete coverage on water retain and growth burst, and harvest is easy to make, and covered in many places.
And I know exactly where my tenth plot would go, lol.
What's everyone's go to option for money making?
tysm!!!
what's the point to jamming and pickling? They don't sell for much and they barely give you any focus points
Im told apple jam is good for flow worm farm. I pickle produce if i have extra of stuff for a small boost in profit . ⭐ Pickled tomato is 51 gol so it aint too bad. And ⭐ pickled potatoes are 102
Gold*
flow worms?! How do I get those? Do I get a different worm farm?
My bad, glow worms*
ohh dang
Im too fast for my keyboard lol
lol all good, flow worms would be cool tho!
it's +50% to value, definitely worth making to increase profits. And while focus gain is low after the nerf, it's still made passively
I posted my layout here #🌱│gardening message if you are interested. Probably there are more profitable options but have enough money for everything I need (I earned so far something between 2-3 mln gold) and everything for cooking and some cotton for fabric/seeds.
Tysm!
Here is mine, 100% water retain, I just put harvest boost fertilizer.
You don't even need the large plots lined up with each other. I can't exactly display my layout in the app, but this is what I had for a while before I got to 25 in gardening. The plot on the right is offset. This allowed me to have growth, water, and weed prevention on one tree, and those plus quality on the other tree. https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-1111-1111-0110_CROPS-CoTPTCOPOA-RPCCoTBAAB-OTOBPCBAA-NNNNNNACO-SpSpASpSpAOTP-AACAATBBO-OAAPAACBB-APTACrWNNN-BBCrCPROTW-PBBTCTCrOP
How is this layout possible? There are 10 soil plots instead of 9?
Oh I see on the right side you just have it as the one I get it now
anyone have a blueberry setup thats 100% water retain?
This is my current setup https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-WPTPBBTBB-AAAAAAAAA-TPWBBPBBT-AAAAAAAAA-PTACrWABBA-AARAACrAAP-WPCrOTSpCoPSp-BBPSpPTSpCO-WPTSpSpPSpSpC
but I'm thinking of changing into this layout https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-PBBTBBPAA-CrPSpWTSpAPA-SpWTSpCoPAAW-CAATAAPRW-AOAACATPW-AAWAAPCrPT-OWATPARCrA-AAAAAAAAA-AAWAATAAP thoughts?
Also why can't I export images from the site? The downloaded image is just blank
Yep, the app only supports having the corners lined up, but you don't have to in-game. The bonuses still work fine. The empty squares are where there's no plot.
ahhh thank you so much
My Layout:
Not for maximum profit or low maintance but gives me all i need for my pickeling machines and cooking.
Also gives me the "real landhouse garden" look i want. The tomatoes are even protected by the outstanding roof of my kitchen so rain cant reach them well 😛 😛 Not a Palia must have but a RL must have ^^
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-10000-10000-10000-10000-11111_CROPS-OWWOBBOBB-OPTOPTOBB-OBBOCrCrOBB-OBBOPTOPT-OPTOP.HpPO.HpOO-TTTPPPOOO-TTTPPPCrCrCr-TTTSpSpCrSpSpCr-TTTCrSpSpCrSpSp
looks great running it along the side of your house 👏
here is mine
woowww i just got a whole face load of idk how to farm in this game lmfao
All gucci, we all gotta start somewhere with this sudoku-esque mechanic. If you need a primer, you may check either of these out!
(Arenvanya's Guide) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bjqQGwzhW7wsIpSDoO3xCMwqbX7ZbsdsuuXmPEXCrjE/edit
(Gazar's Gardening Mechanics Summary) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1f4MQHjEC1RCNpDUz1I3eg2tioD_6yBmW0XWsVxUOJ1Y/edit
The guide was the face load XD i just used the planner to make my field water retaining, still gonna expand and redesign
Hi all, do you guys know if there is an easy way to get 30 furtilizers on 1 crop-spot? Or do you just have to click 30 times on the fertilizer?
some ppl bind main action to scroll wheel to make it easier to spam, but it's probably only worth it if you plan to apply fertilizer to a lot of plots
Thanks Gazar! You really are all-knowing XD
Are there any other cash crops besides tomatoes that I should know about??
Potatoes better than tomatoes now. Apples make good money and are easy focus food
Good to know
That’s a cuteee idea I might steal this idea
Anyone want a spare bag of potato seeds?
Feel free 🙂 🙂
Up and coming layout. Seed potatoes and rice, jam the rest. Despite the general consensus, it's a net loss of 625 gold when seeding vs jamming blueberries. Not hugely significant, so either way works 🙂
Hi guys, I've got an incredible noob-question: how do you get your fertilizer off of your plot that has no seed in it?
Dunno, it goes back to your inventory when you plant something there. If you have a lot fertilizer there, try to put there other type of fertilizer, so that one from field should also back to your inventory. Maybe if you pick up soil it works but don't remember, tbh... I was moving my garden long time ago.
could anyone kindly explain what Growth Boost from crops does?
I planted corn next to blueberries and it shows corn has Growth Boost, and I thought corn will grow faster than normal 5 ingame days (5 irl hours), but it doesn't work like that
I was waiting for 5 days to harvest it anyway
was searching in wiki but it has page about fertilizer only it seems, I couldn't find any other info
same goes for potato - planted it right next to apple trees and Growth Boost does nothing to them aswell
On paper, every 2nd day should add an extra day of growth. So a crop by the 2nd day should have 3 days worth of growth. With this, corn is meant to be harvestable by the 4th day.
There's a bug though that relogging will reset the speedygro tracker, making the bonus day not apply because it possibly doesn't reach that 2-day timer. Not sure if that's the case for you or something else but that's one possible explanation
oh so there's a bug?
that would explain why doesn't work for me, thanks a lot for the answer
Opinions? This is my current layout
So far so good but you are wasting money by using the Fertiliser since you already achieve the Harvest Boost by having Rice/Wheat around your Blueberries/Apples
Just to confirm.. if I read correctly, it says boosts from plant benefits do not stack with fertilizer that has the same benefits-? or does it?
Plants will apply a boost it's receiving once per type daily, so if there's a a plant providing the same boost as a fertiliser it will not stack
Won't consume the fertiliser either, as it prioritises the crop boosts
Great, that's what I thought. Awesome! Thank you!
This is my layout, it's easy to remember, 100% harvest boost, 100% water retain and 100% growth boost (using fertilizer from glow worm)
I convert tomatoes to jam and seeds for replanting, potatoes, wheat and rice to seeds and apples to jam.
For getting that 100% growth boost I use apple jam on glow worms but It's quite expensive ofc I feel I'm losing a lot of money, also sometimes I just have too many crops to convert into seeds so I lose a few rotations and it's not 100% efficient.I also rotate the apples between onions and carrots for cooking but only when I really need it. Any advice on how could I improve the layout for being more efficient? I'm focusing on not having to water my plants and having something simple to remember so I can plant everything and go do something else, and due to tomato nerf, I think potatoes are more profitable, that's why I have so many (but they are slow to process)
Sorry for all the text and sorry if something is hard to understand I don't speak english too much!
I posted day 10 so here's day 30 with jam and stuff
Wow gardening for money is looking overwhelming to me 😅😅😅 Going to have to sit down and do some research
I´m running a similar layout, but i dont use any fertilizers, you could already spare some Money by skipping on the Growth Boost Fertilizer around your apple since Apple tree already gives that boost to surrounding crops, doubeling it does nothing and is just a waste of money in the long run since it dosnt stack up
Its overwhelming at first i agree but thankfully to some awesome People we have this nice little site https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/ maybe just give it a try and play around with some layouts that fit your playstyle, if you have any questions feel free to ask
Thank you for the info, I will take a look!
Oh that's true tysm <3!
Hello people, may I ask in what form is better to sell apples, tomatoes, blueberrys and peppers? I think I might need to turn some of them into seeds for replanting, but apart from that I dont know anything else
Tomatoes, blueberries, and peppers sell for the most gold as seeds.
thank you!!
any1 got a garden for 2x2? without apples, blueberries and peppers
what crops can I sell purely for profit without worrying too much about cooking?
For different recipes you need different crops... hard to say, you're the one who decide maybe this will help (https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Gardening). For example I have on my field everything for cooking and some cotton and still have pretty nice profit.
Found this layout on google. Is it a good layout?
it's missing water retain on 4 apples, and harvest boost on wheat and potato. If you wan 5 apple layout maybe try something like this:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-AAAAAAAAA-RCrRPTPRCrR-AAAAAAAAA-PRPTCrTPRP-AAAAAAAAA-PRPTCrTPRP-AAAAAAAAA-RCrRPTPRCrR-AAAAAAAAA
or this 6 apple layout:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-R.HpAACrAATAA-AR.HAAPAATA-AAR.HpAACrAAT-PAAR.HAAPAA-ACrAARAAPA-AAPAAR.HAAP-TAACrAAR.HpAA-ATAAR.HAAP.HpA-AATAACrAAR.Hp
or this 4 apple+4blueberry (apple has growth boost; bb and 1 rice don't have water retain, can add this with fertilizer):
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-P.HpAAR.HAAPAA-APT.SACrRABB-PR.HP.HpAAAAAA-T.SRBPCrBAAA-BBBBR.HBBBB-AAABCrPBRT.S-AAAAAAP.HpR.HP-BBARCrAT.SPA-AAPAAR.HAAP.Hp
Thanks!!
Hi I read in a guide that the growth fertilizer can make crops grow unevenly and over complicate the process. Is this true? Is this also the case for apple/bloob proximity buffs?
it can happen if boost is not consistent, e.g. if you have one potato with boost, and one without they will go out of sync. An apple/bb boost is same as SpeedGro
I heard it actually had a chance of working or not. Interesting
that 2-day progress for growth boost is not saved currently, resets when you logout or change map. This can cause problems or require you to adjust when you play
Hello fellow Palians! I got my first apple seed and 9x9 setup. Do these stats look decent?
does anyone have blueberry and apple tree layout with harvest boost and water retain? plsss haaalp 🙏
Yeah, not bad but if you are under 25 lvl I would add some fertilizer to increase quality.
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-P.HpAAR.HAAPAA-APT.SACrRABB-PR.HP.HpAAAAAA-T.SRBPCrBAAA-BBBBR.HBBBB-AAABCrPBRT.S-AAAAAAP.HpR.HP-BBARCrAT.SPA-AAPAAR.HAAP.Hp
not full water retain, but you can add water fertilizer on bb and rice in the middle
Thank you! I plugged in everything hoping for the best. I am level 60 but will prob add fertilizer just in case
Oh, so you don't have to... if you use starred seeds after 25 lvl in gardening you will get starred crops anyway. Better add some SpeedyGro, especially for your apples tree 😉 If you wanna see mine, I posted it here (but I have sometimes a lot of weeds): #🌱│gardening message
ohhh thanksss!!! will be trying this
Dope thanks again! Very helpful 🫶🏽
I'll def check yours out
I feel like the game is pretty good except that the farming is waaay too realistic. I have been playing for 3 days and I still havent finished the first farming quest, if you want to work on a large farm it could possibly take 1-2 hours to hoe the entire thing, you have to water the plants multiple times, as well as weeding them which isnt that bad but you should only have to water the plants once.
Also I just found out it will take 8 hours to finish the house after providing all the resources... I didnt come here to play clash of clans lmao
Any idea if the developers are working to fix this issue with the farming?
There is a limitation as to how many Farming land you can have, while leveling up your skills you´ll also be able to upgrade your equipment which means your wateringcan on highest upgrade will be able to water 9 plants at the same time etc
As for having to water multiple times not sure what exactly you mean but you only have to water them once per day, if you get a little bit deeper into Gardening you´ll figure out that each Plant gives different Boost to surrounding plants for example Tomatos and Potatos give Water Retain, if you plant them in a smart way you wont have to water anything at all after your first day of Watering, there are also Crops like Carrots and Onions which prevent Weed from crowing on surrounding crops etc.
Its a lot to get into but nothing that has to be "fixed" its well balanced as it is imo
I just feel like farming that takes multiple days and hoeing that takes ages just takes away from the fun of the farming. Dont get me wrong I like farming I do it in quite a bit of games but the way it is implemented kind of takes the fun out of it
as you upgrade your equipment it takes less time.
so what exactly changes when you hit level 25 in gardening? can't really find anything about it on the wiki
you get 50% chance of star crops from star seeds, and 2% per level of gardening, so at lv 25 you get 100% chance for star crops from star seeds without the need for quality fertilizer
ooo i see, thanks for clarifying
At the beginning all activities are harder and take more time... if you use flint arrows you can't kill sernuk at one shot and from far, chopping trees takes ages, mining too. Theoretically (except quests) you don't have to take care of garden at all... you can earn money other ways and buy vegetables but this way you won't get starred vegetables for cooking. Even if you don't wanna cook, you can buy food but it won't give as much focus as starred food. In short... give it some time and check if it's so bad. I take care of my garden once per 2 hours (from 4 to 8 am in game, because at 6 am crops are growing) the rest of the time I can do whatever I want. Even if I spend less time in garden than outside, my gardening lvl is over 100, and the rest below 30 (except hunting which is below 15 and fishing which is a little over 30). Gardening gives you easy money, and can give you a lot of money if you invest in other things later. I like gardening and also did this in few games before... and in some was easier but in some others way harder. Hope that you will change your mind about gardening 🙂 Good luck with hoeing and watering!
I noticed u mentioned a 6 Apple layout, but it seems both it and the 5 apple layout links are the same?
copied wrong link, fixed; here is the 6 apple one:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-R.HpAACrAATAA-AR.HAAPAATA-AAR.HpAACrAAT-PAAR.HAAPAA-ACrAARAAPA-AAPAAR.HAAP-TAACrAAR.HpAA-ATAAR.HAAP.HpA-AATAACrAAR.Hp
Thanks!
If this are the current seeds i can have right now. Is this a good layout?
Or is there a better one?
Isn't bad but at the beginning would be better to have a little bit more cotton to increase quality of your crops. Maybe something like this for now? Has 100% water retain so you wouldn't have to watering that often, and little better quality and harvest stats, and a bit higher profit. In future you can change 4 wheat for 4 rice if you wanna have more ingredients for cooking. Link: https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-11-11_CROPS-WTCoCoPCOTW-WPCoCoTCOPW-WPCoCoTCOPW-WTCoCoPCOTW
Sometimes I think that always is better layout but you will change it anyway soon, when you will have more types of seeds and more soil 😉
Ooooh, thanks. It's simpler with only 2 other crops. Might use this
I just found a new gardening pattern; am I supposed to harvest every crop as soon as it grows or wait until every crop is ready? (e.g. harvesting rice before potatoes)
Typically the former. As long as you replant the day it's harvested, the crop bonuses made by the layout isn't lost
Latter is still doable tho and more for personal preference, but you lose out on gold
Thks. Will definitly try this out!
Hi, is there a way to remove a seed planted by error ?
Rmb when the hoe out
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-AAAAAAAAA-TCoTRWRTCoT-AAAAAAAAA-RTWTCoTRTW-RWRTCoTRWR-WTRTCoTWTR-AAAAAAAAA-TCoTRWRTCoT-AAAAAAAAA after messing around for abit with different combination this is the best one i have got so far. let me know what u think about it?
The best for what? I mean do you need a lot of apples or you mean profit? Not bad amount of gold, I must admit.
If it fits your playstyle then it great !
For me personally i always strive to have 100% Water retain, thats my go to, everything else i build around that.
This is what i´m running at the moment, Gold outcome will differ if you pre25 tho
yea im talking about the gold.. but i guess tamatoes still rule the show lol
does this preset give the most gold?
i need gold for backpack and storage box... its a pain to do hunting now that i have done it a few times like my hands go numb at the end burning 500 arrows everytime lmao
This one here is the one who gives the most money i could come up with so far.
Preserved Corn goes into normal Worm Bins which increases the value by another 5k but thats just super min/maxing
And keep in mind, if you are below level 25 in Gardening it will be less gold since you´ll still get non Star crops, this only gives so much because its 100% Gold Crops for me on gardening level 36
damn well thnx for the layout i will definately give it a try... i only started working on crops today... like i had lvl 1 gardening but 34 lvls in total so never really focused on that...
any other tip to maximize profit for newbie on this? and dos and donts..
For @tacit ice , my current layout
I was doing something similar to this for a while, but I've decided to simplify things. So, this is my current layout. Using grilled fish for 2 glow worm makers, then apple and blueberry jam for the regular one's. All I need for fert is Harvest Boost. Once you get enough of that, you can just switch to morels 🙂
It nets me 115,342 jarring all but potatoes. About 10k less than my more "involved" one, but I'm good with gold
Really when it comes to making money with gardening the go to is you got to invest money to make even more money, while just selling your crops as they are will start you off with a decent amount of money, investing that money into more machine certificates to have more Seed producer or later Preserved Jars will increase your ability to make money tenfold, but its a journey to get there, specially when like you said you are only starting out !
Wow you guys have progressed so much further then me i felt i was doing okay xD
Ah, yeah. I hate apples. 1 they grow too slowly, but that's just whinging. The main thing is even my one tree lags out my entire laptop, specifically when I'm under it, and the graphics show me through the branches, it just crawls. Not sure if 5 trees would make it worse, since I'm only ever under 1 at a time. I did used to have a 2 apple tree setup, pre peppers and corn, and that didn't seem to make it any worse
I'm making so much money, already, though, I'm not really trying to optimize anything. About every 4 days, I have to go find things to blow 100K+ 🪙 on, to stay below the silly cap
Nice! Most times I have no issues with lag, but when I do, I think it's the seeders and jammers. And yes, Apples are slow, but I use the jam as focus food. I just wanted to simplify things and this layout did the trick for me. There's so many options that everyone can find a layout that works for them 🙂
Ah, that makes sense. I decided, awhile back, to play the long game. Since I am now not trying to speed-run my levels, I never eat. Since I'm never looking at foods as Focus, it gives me a different perspective
Hey guys, just got my first two apple seeds from Zeki, could you help me to find some worthful layout for making money? Idk about fert, though, haven't realized how to make harvest boost yet
This is @livid pier current layout. No fertilizer required, but you will have to weed daily and you need seeders and jammers to get the most profit along with 9 plots
that's apple and tomato jam?
yes
and what's last yellow thing?
corn preserves
aight and how many seeders and jammers you have?
and tomato preserves. so he jars the tomatoes', corn and apples and seeds the potatoes and rice
I have 25 total, but this isn't my layout. you'd need to ask @livid pier how many he has
yes 🙂 a lot of players have 30, which is the limit
is there any boost on lvl 25?
but doing so means they give up their smelters and weavers and wood chippers etc
there is
you get all star seeds and produce from your harvests
so even if you use a non-starred seed, it will produce starred veggies/fruit
ohhh, so i'll be like less on money before i get lvl 25?
when you're at this level, you're making so much gold that you can afford to buy w/e items you need for quests, that's if you have any quests left 🙂
most likely, yes
but there's no rush
take your time and enjoy the game. you'll get here before you know it
ahahah, ok, thanks for help
my pleasure 🙂
Is 3 seedmakers enough for this layout?
With the growth boost fertilizer, how many days of the growth cycle does it need to be applied? I'm way past level 25 gardening (maybe 50 by now)
speedGro gives one bonus day for every 2 days with boost/fertilizer. So with crops that have grow time of 4, 5 you only want 2 units per planting, with tomato you want 4 units, and with those that have growth time of 3x you can put it for every day. But remember that rn growth boost is bugged - that 2-day progress is not saved, so in order to get this boost you need to stay on home plot for 2 consecutive garden ticks
anyone have a good garden planner for mostly wheat, potato, spicy peppers and tomato? 😄
thanks for that clarification. how about with harvest boost? that tends to be what I use the most
you need to use 1 unit per day for full boost. E.g. using 4 unit on potato (5 day grow) will leave you with 4/5 chance to get harvest boost. You can stack fertilizer charges.
Interesting, got it. So I'm playing the odds on how many days I stack it up. I need to process a lot of worms....
I use 4 for the potatoes, but you could get by with 3 since there's only 8 potatoes in the layout. I guess it all depends on how much storage space you have. I have max, which is 10k, so I can hold them if I need to use a seeder for other produce. I did put a 5th one out to make apple seeds since they take forever 🙂
Thanks!
You're most welcome. Also, you're welcome to add me ingame and come on by for a visit to see what I've got setup if you like
ohhh thank you! 🙂
easy 60k a day in passive income and easy no stress lay out that only uses seeders [: Dirty rice \o/
and for fert costs, I did that awhile back. (I currently use 20 crafters for rice, 5 for wheat, works well. 5 for other crafters.)
Hi Jane, why do u use de Apple Jam for GW and not the Apple pie that gives u 3 extra GW?
Hey 🙂 For apple pie I have to use 3 apples (and wheat, sweet leaf, spice sprouts, and buy butter) which will give me 18 worms (6 per hour). Using jam I have 3 worms per hour but don't have to bake and buy other ingredients. I am lazy... and have 700 glow worms (the rest I sold), I don't fish that much. I was using apple pie at the beginning (also think it's the best if you need worms quick) but since I have more worms than I need, I switched to jam 😅
Thks for the answer. I figured I best do de pies so that way i lvl up the cooking also.
BTW I'm currently using your layout so thks!!!
Sth I was wondering, I see that many use all crop to make more seeds or jam. So am I suppose to sell the seeds instead of the crops?
I produce pickles from vegetables, from rice, wheat and cotton seeds (from cotton also fabric when I need it). If preserves jars are full, the rest vege put to seeders too. And of course always leave seeds for replanting and vegetables for cooking. I cook cream of tomato soup all the time, it's my focus food, and sashimi/fish stew for fishing . I am happy that my layout is the one you try, even if there are more profitable options ❤️
How many seedear and preserve jars do you use?
15 preserves jars and 8 seeders... if you ever wanna visit me, you are more than welcome 🙂
What's your in game name so i add u?
Jane M. Doe
Guys I have a question about farming
I am using this apple farming set up.....but can I harvest the onion and carrot and replant the seeds.....will it still have the effects??
Yes, you should replant when they are ready to harvest.
It will not lose the effect right??
I am a bit hunter but I am really new to the game....I play a lot so I need to make my farming skill up need money too
If you plant the same type of seeds and water them, will work well 🙂 If you do not do this, you will lose a lot of potential money.
It's my 4th day and my cooking... hunting.... foraging..and mining skills are lvl 10+....but I kinda need an auto farm for money

I love making houses so I need money for buying stuff....can you help me with an auto farm and tell me the best way to make money from farming??
Nice! My hunting is on 14 and gardening on 118 😅😂
Wow... maybe help me with an auto farm that makes money
Hm... at the beginning I would rather add some cotton/spicy pepper for quality, and add some rice/wheat/corn for harvest boost. But if you want to have 'auto' farm, stay with this layout because you don't really have much work here.
Nope, you would have to watering every day.
Aww
If you wanna make money, check options for cooking parties, I heard they are profitable. If you just wanna sell your stuff, invest in preserves jars or seeders, they increase value of your crops.
It's my 4th day....I don't think anyone would want a newbie in cake party
I am a big time hunter...
But yea...got lucky with 1 apple seed tho
And made 5 more apple seeds with that...

So kinda got a set up for apple farm

This is why I found this on yt....do I need to open the jam maker or something to get max profile from apples???
Yeah but... before you reach 25 lvl in gardening not all of your crops will be starred, so profit also will be lower.
Even this one should be more profitable, I think: https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA-OTPCPOPTC-AAAAAAAAA
Also, there is no true 100% auto farm, no matter what you plant or the fertilizer that you use.
your farm will always need tending in some way
I am running this farm #🌱│gardening message if you are interested, and for me is great but still cost a lot of work sometimes. I have to be there once per 2 in-game days. Hunting doesn't seem to be profitable path for me 😅
Ahh I see
I see...I guess if someone is truly farming then hunting is not profitable 🤭🤭🤭
I hunt, mine, and farm...only farming seems the most profitable so far for me since I use everything else that I mine and hunt for other stuff like building and cooking
So I can harvest and replant the seeds and it won't lose the effect right???
You got me... I don't like hunting... in general, poor, sweet, furry creatures 🙈
right
Guess I will try this farm and see
the only time you lose the effect is if you plant something different
then the effects change
But please tell me what's the best method to sell each crops
No no I will harvest the onion and replant onion only
make use of the garden planner, play around with what seeds you have the abilty to plant.
that is how I got to the plot I use
The best thing in farming is that if you have water retain and weed prevention on 100% you can stay away longer, and hunt meantime if you like it 🙂
Like if I should harvest the potato and sell it directly or make something with it
Same goes for the crops
preservation is best
it ups the profit and when you have star quality it is even better
this is my current farm with just apples, potatoes and tomatoes
I am at farming 26
And you can sell weeds for extra cash 😉
this will be my next one because I need blueberries for a bit.
that is what I do lol
@sterile cape can you tell me what's the best way to sell different crops..?
Like it should directly sell them or make something of them before selling
Like I see in lot of videos some say pickling is good and stuff
I just answered that but ok
I think some people even pickle star crops before selling them
I always do something, most vege putting to jars, rest to seeders. It always increases value around 20-30%.
So maybe I should focus on lvling up my farming so I can get the jar
Any good crop I can sell directly???
it will help a lot if you are looking to make profit from farming
you can sell them all directly, we are jet telling you best ways for best profit.
but tomaotoes or potatoes right now before you can get blueberries or apples
Haha I don't think I should open apple farm without the jar
I got lucky and somehow got 1 apple seed
And made 5 more seed from that...

But at the beginning you need money for all of this... so sell as it is (but first make new seeds for next replant). And replant as often as possible, eat focus food before harvesting!!! It will give you faster leveling, so also bigger chance for starred crops.
I make 7k from hunting
10k if I sell the skin without making them leather....so I want a passive money making farm too
And I mostly eat the steak dinner
But I do wish I had a friend who could cook with me
....I mostly play solo sooo.....I mostly pass my days hunting
I am fishing meantime, also can have nice money from this... but when I go to bed, and start game to morning coffee, I have 15-20K from gardening extra 😉 I eat cream of tomato soup all the time or dishes made from fish.
Add me in game and I will cook with you or whatever. My boyfriend started playing with me and our friend but they both are playing other games most of the time
game name is this name^
My gf started playing too....but she loves fps games more

they play a lot of different games so I just watch over dicord stream or play Palia and watch
I do play with her at times but I am not a big fan of valo....the community is a bit toxic

But it's oki...I only play valo with her just for some fun 😊😊

don't know what game that is but will look it up.
You don't know valorant??
nope
Would love to cook with you sometime if you add me!
Sure
Added you

Hello! I've seen those crop plans and such, do you guys use normal or star seeds for harvest farming?
I always use starred seeds, which give higher chance for starred crops (up to 100% on lvl 25+)
I usually sell but you can use them if you plant not starred seeds next to cotton (on sides) or spicy pepper, or use QualityUp fertilizer 🙂
Ok! I'll plan to change layout and re-plant everything after the current cycle, so I need to prepare
And another dumb question, please forgive me: the "days of last harvest" which are indicated in the layout planners, are they referring to real days or in game days? Thx 🙏
What is the best crop to plant for beginners now to make money but to also not lose it at the same time?
I heard tomato wasn’t good anymore?
Does anyone have info on what xp you get from harvesting different crops?
all give 4 exp per day per slot: https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Experience#Gardening
tomato is still the most profitable raw crop, but after tomato seeds were fixed/nerfed it's not very feasible to make it into seeds. When you get more crafting machine slots, it's better to do potato as your main crop. This is a layout I'd recommend (early on switch potato/tomato): https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP
in-game (so 30 palia days = 30 irl hours); but remember that crops only grow when you are online (max 1 stage when offline). In order to maximize efficiency it means that you need to login every 2h before day starts (6am in-game, XX:15 irl) to do 2 rounds of gardening in a row.
Thank you, will keep in mind!
Question. Do you sell the seeds or use it exclusive to grow more plants?
Hello i was wondering if i can use multiple fertilizers? or only one kind at a a time!
i have 3 seed makers and i usually sell bc it can be way too many seeds. i like to keep atleast 30 of each crop all the time
seeds/preserves are worth more than crops, so it is profitable to convert crops before selling
only one at a time. if you place a different fertilizer, previous one will go back to your inventory. You can have multiple bonuses, but those additional ones need to come from crops
o/
~~I just heard speed fertilizer is bugged.
I ran 6 apples so far (+speed fert), with rice, wheat and pepper.
Mostly ran apples for star jam, to get glow wormies.
I only "need" rice, wheat and pepper.
What would be a good alternative to my 6 appletrees for glowies?
Would I change my apples for bluebierries? Would I go apples + blues, or something else?
I would like the diversity of crops low and I dont mind watering and weeding at all.
Thanks for the help.~~
nvm my question, was a misunderstanding, growth fert is fine!
hey guys, i need help about apple trees
do you crop them, then make some seeds for future replant and then everything else to the jammers?
(i know, a bit dumb question, but...)
Some seeds and then the rest jam and worms
glow ones? and worms straight from apples or jam apples first?
Apples ~ jam- glow
what's your gardening lvl?
I don't really like Apple Jam Glow Worms as a continual pipeline, because the 1h16m in the preserves jar is only adding 1 worm to the glow worm farm output (3 for star apple jam instead of 2 for star apple). I personally like Apple Jam as an easy "rainy day" store of value past the gold cap since I don't have cakes right now. If you want lots of glow worms for fishing, worming Grilled Fish from the 80g-172g fish you're catching with glow worms is really good (3-7 worms each).
Yeah i mean i don’t mind the time when i have to go in irl it still produces glows worms either way and I’m coming back to collect it so it depends on you. I don’t need more glows worms bc i got tons of them have to sell them for space
Still making profit either through just seeds straight to jam or glows or eating
still getting the profit from afk
true, true. If you're logging in more than once a day though and you just want gold, regular Worm Farm is more profitable
How do I make the Weedblock fertilizer?
You buy from zeki
You can craft one fertilizer i don’t remember since I’m not using it
The quality up one
I just figured if you feed them different foods, you get different fertilizer but I guess not lol
I looked around but didn't find what I needed. So I'll just ask. I want a pattern (3x3), mostly tomatoes and like 6-8 onions, potatoes, carrots and rice. Does anyone have a similar pattern?
I present my cake n dumplin' crop plan - with 100% water retain - with added lazy day option of throw it all into seeds n jam 🙂 https://www.reddit.com/r/Palia/comments/17m1mof/songs_cake_n_dumplin_afk_lazy_garden_plan/
how much extra value do you really get from crop weaving? The aesthetic part of my brain just wants to arrange everything in rows
If you want to do it like that then you should imo. This is just a fun part of the game, you can engage with it how you'd like. I do enjoy spending the 5K per crop cycle I get on my outhouse and industrial carpet habit, though, even if I need to reference a screencap to make sure I'm re-planting stuff in the right place sometimes.
Can you combine different types of fertilizer?
no, only one type at at time on plants. You can mix if you put one type of fert on one type of plant but not two diff ferts on the same plant.
Ok thanku
realizing that to saturate my visually appealing farm with equal plant count of the basics I'm going to need the field to be 8 plots wide
How does the fertilizer work as far as timing? Do I just use it once while the crop is growing, or do I need to put it down again when it gets consumed?
You can see the fertilizer "seeds" on the plant, once they are gone, you'll need to add it again
you need to use 1 unit per day for full boost. E.g. using 4 unit on potato (5 day grow) will leave you with 4/5 chance to get harvest boost. You can stack fertilizer charges.
Okay, so I don't have to use it every "day" to get the benefit but any day I miss decreases it by that amount
What seeds are actually worth grinding myself?
Just here to drop off the updated Dirty Rice layout, after testing out quite a few other ones ^^ Before using sacrificial weed plots, I was making 60-68k a day with it ^^ will report on the new income soon
Seems like a cool idea!
^
Does anyone have a auto farm setup for cotton??
Zero-maintenance plan I came up with. The 6 corn plants can be switched out for cotton, wheat, or rice at any time without issue.
Here's one.
Ohh thanks

this is awesome lazy setup! seems like i want to try it too
seems like Replacing rice with corn can give higher income
So I'm in bed but I have tested corn a simple thing you can do is 48 mins to process+5 hours to grow= 5hr48 min to get a product to sell whereas rice is 3 hours to grow + 42 mins to process to get a product. In the 2 hours you're waiting for corn to grow, a little over 2 more processes of rice in however many seeders you use will process and make up for the sell difference of a corn biproduct.
Rice being quite quick the difference in sell price quickly adds up which isn't something the layout planner calculates for very well
On paper it'll look like more but in reality in 6 hours of game time you will get 2 rice harvests and 1 corn.
Less profit for that game day
Layout also doesn't take in to account that most people aren't playing for 24 hours straight :P
But if you're in to corn go for corn!
aahhh i see, so thats the reason you choose rice over corn.
Corn could be better if you play a lot for sure!
Hi, what is the best option with apple tree ? sell the apple, jam or the seed ? And with 5 apple tree how many seedmaker / jammaker i need to be produtiv so ? thx for the answer 🙂
It depends how much you play etc i have 6 and have 4 seeds marker and the rest is jam and worms
Lazy (all water retain, all but 2 weed prevention), late-game (just 1 cotton), unspecialized (a bit of everything). Both trees have growth boost, one also has harvest boost. One of the peppers also has harvest boost.
Is this correct: The higher your gardening skill level, the more likely you are to get Star Quality crops?
Ahh... When you cook and you chose to use star quality crops, does it only use them for the ones that it you don't have regular crops for?
you can choose star quality even if you have the regular crop but if you don't have the regular you can choose start quality to still make the recipe
If you choose star quality, all your ingredients that can be star quality must be star quality. You can't use regular greens or meats with star quality selected.
you can use regular meat, sweet leaves, garlic and spices in star recipes. but yes you have to use star quality crops only in star quality recipes.
You can still use non-starred crops when cooking with other starred crops. When you choose the option to use starred ingredients and you don't have any starred ones for a particular one, non-starred will be used. Just remember that if recipe uses more than one crop and you have only one starred, it will still try to use starred ones and you will fail. Examples:
- Recipe requires any spice and you don't have any starred - you can use regular.
- Recipe requires any spice, you have 1 starred spice sprouts and regular garlic - you can't use regular garlic.
- Recipe requires 3 apples, you have one starred apple and 3 regular - you can't make it
You can put ingredients you don't want to use in the lockbox, they wont be used (or counted for cases above).
there is any layer to get the most benefit of apples?
My peppers aren't planting in my garden
I think it's a bug. I have sent a report but just wondering if this is just me?
Can you post a screenshot to show the issue or what you're trying?
It needs 4 spaces like the blueberry bush
OH!!! WOW!! Thank you so much! how did you learn that?
I was being 100% genuine with my question I sent a bug report and everything because I thought it was broken 😭 I didn't see anything about planting peppers with 4 empty plots😭
(I was just clarifying my tone (since online is harder to infer tone than IRL sometimes!) I didn't want to come off as sarcastic or anything 💖
Oh no worries! I honestly don’t know, they may have mentioned it in the patch notes when they added peppers but I truly can’t remember
thank you again I am excited to plant them now 🥰
Weird question, but does anyone know why sometimes when you pick a crop the soil needs to be tilled again, and other times it doesn't need re-tilling?
Soil needs to be tilled when it has been over 48 hours IRL
Ohhhhhhh, interesting. Thank you!
Oh eww. Punishment for not playing frequently.
Glad you got it resolved, I figured this was the case. : )
Does anyone know which crop is the most proffitabble to plant?
Ah, that makes sense. I was wondering if I was imagining things.
You have to till it even if frequent playing.
So, getting star quality cotton is only usefull if you plan to sell it as cotton, right?
yes
Oh, thanks for letting me know that... I've been going the other way with it.
Same
I was still jamming all my apples and blueberries as a habit from OG cake parties. Whoops lol
but it still makes sense to jam them right? You need 10 apples for 1 seed, but selling 10 star jams would get you more than what 1 seed is worth
or am i overthinking it
You are correct. 10 Star Apple Jar would be 1440g vs 1050g for 1 seed.
But in the case of Cotton SQ there's no point in turning it to fabric cos you wont get Fabric SQ, so makes more sense to directly sell it.
Does putting jam in regular worm bins still give a boost to gold?
Yes, jam is still good. You will earn more but... later because it takes time.
Seems like it’s more worth to turn it into seeds and sell those
I don’t mind the waiting personally
I didn't check but I don't think so... it's worth if you need more worms in short time but for gold... it will be fine only in you sell fish which you hook on that worms 😅 Making worms for selling isn't that great option anymore but I may be wrong, so if someone had different opinion, I would love to hear it too 🙂
anyone have any good profitable garden layouts?
What do you need (except money) in your garden? Do you cook? What is your gardening level (higher than 25 or lower) and what kind of seeds you have unlocked?
my gardening lvl is 26 and currently im just concerned about making money. i have all the seeds unlocked
not worried about cooking rn
You're absolutely right!
Okay 🙂 So my layout will be useless for you, it's not bad, but there are probably a more profitable options. Let me scroll up a bit and check out some other ideas here. Maybe one of them will be good for you 🙂
Maybe something like this? #🌱│gardening message
tysm!!!!!
Or this: #🌱│gardening message
Of course if you don't put vegetables into jars and don't make seeds from rice/wheat your income will be 20-30 % lower but still really good. Thanks are due to the authors, I just pasted the links 😅
i do use jars/seed makers so 👍 one thing ive been wondering tho: are spicy peppers worth more preserved or when turned into seeds?
im too lazy to do the math lmao
I counted and it seems that preserved is better option 🙂
awesome, tysm!
In general I was checking this... and all fruits and vegetables are better in jars (gold per hour), except onion if I remember well but difference is really small. And the rest to seeders 🙂
I put mine into jars so good to know 😄
I wasn't sure because I checked this long time ago. Anyway, I more often make jars, sometimes seeds, depends where I have space to put it
Hey!
Should I preserve every crops before selling them instead of selling them raw?
you get a better value from them if you do
Time to build some preserve jars then. ^^
yass i have 10 working pretty much non stop xD
trying out this garden layout and wondering how good it is. im lazy and apples take super long so i tried making something that was lazy but more speedy
It isn't bad. I have used a similar layout
Right now, I am all potatoes and tomatoes
I also had similar at the beginning. Layout isn't bad but could be better... Check this maybe? Similar but if your gardening lvl is lower than 25, you may use more cotton. And if you really want to use fertilizer everywhere, do this smart (using harvest fertilizer around rice and corn has no sense). https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-O.HP.HCo.WC.HT.HCo.WO.HP.HCo.W-R.WP.QO.HCr.WT.QC.HR.WP.QO.H-Co.HP.WCr.WCo.HT.WR.WCo.HP.WCr.W-C.HT.HCo.WO.HP.HCo.WC.HT.HCo.W-Cr.WT.QC.HR.WP.QO.HCr.WT.QC.H-Co.HT.WR.WCo.HP.WCr.WCo.HT.WR.W-O.HP.HCo.WC.HT.HCo.WO.HP.HCo.W-R.WP.QO.HCr.WT.QC.HR.WP.QO.H-Co.HP.WCr.WCo.HT.WR.WCo.HP.WCr.W
that layout looks nice! i dont have weedblock tho. where do i get it?
What are the benefits of weed block? Do weeds prevent growth or quantity
You can buy it in Zeki's shop, or don't use it and collect weeds... more work but you can sell them too 😂
is there a way to craft it?
They need to let us put them in basic worm farms
yeah. or something that gives all the ferilizers. seems good but the gold does add up 😭
no, there are only three you can craft. Speedy, and harvest boost via worm farms, and quality boost via basic worm farm and craft bench
At least that I have found so far
I wish peppers were 1 tile instead of 4. Makes using them really hard. Most optimized layout for boosts I have is 0 peppers lol
This is why I don't worry about optimizing a layout .. I just check my supplies and grow what I need.
Weeds stop growth and if I am not wrong also stop boosts from crops, so for example if you don't remove them from tomatoes, other plants around will dry next day (this is what I saw myself, but never checked if it's the rule). Sorry for late answer, Discord were dead.
oh that's interesting .. that could explain some things I noticed with my companion planting.
Hi guys ! Does tomato have end ? I dn't know how to say it in english lol.
I mean, when you take a carrot you have to replant it. When do you have to replant a tomato ? If we never need, how can I take off a tomato because I don't whant it here ?
They will have end (after 10 in-game days) 🙂 But if you want to remove plant you can right-click on it using hoe.
perfect !! thank you very much !!
Whats is the best gardening for profit farm out?
Ohhh MY DAY HAS COME
with quality up fertilizer, I make 3000-7000 depending on whats harvested that day
I dont have apples
only blueberries atm
here is a basic layout for profit while keeping it easy to replant. Potato and rice into seeds, tomato and corn into preserves:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP
but.. potato preserves are good money (or good glow worms)?
tomato preserves are hardly worth the time invested.
potato seeds are more g per potato, preserves are slightly more g/h. You can process some potatoes into preserves if you have limited machines or login often enough to produce more potatoes than you can convert to seeds. Tomato preserves are same value as potato (tomatoes give twice as many crops as potato, worth half, take half the time to process into preserves)
I found this site very helpful and up-to-date with current gold value of items. It really breaks down what seems like every item and action so you can compare profit projections.
https://www.paliatracker.com/gold-profit
is there a way to have optimal plot without apples
Is it still somehow profitable a tomato farm?
What do you mean by 'optimal'? For me this means that I have a bit of everything there, so apples as well.
I mean, having the best weed-stopping while having harvest boots with a quality boost...optimal. without having apples
which one is the best to invest?
surprised the daily average gold is so high just for spamming plants lol
For the first time 3x3 layout... Use Onion Potato Tomato Carrot and Wheat or Rice
I hear like a glowing sound when I'm in my garden but dont see anything. Anyone know what that might be ?
it could be weeds, or a crop that's actually ready to harvest but you just missed it, I do it a lot.
someone has a good layout for having every avaible plant - all watered, weedfree and increased harvest ?
So i have a weird question regarding fertilizers: i can keep stacking the same fertilizer on the same plot to increase the value, but would i increase yields from the crop by adding a ton of harvest boost fertilizer? Or is there a cap?
Stacked fertilizer is just a supply that lasts multiple days. One unit of fertilizer is consumed per day, per tile (so bushes consume 4, trees consume 9)
ah sweet, thanks for clarifying
Heya gardening-Palians 😄 how are you doing?
Just resetting my garden now have a 3x3 square setup of patches , when I go to plant again what do people reccomend and why @ me with your ideas please
I'm currently transitioning to this layout, based on another I found on this thread. With this I have a little bit of everything, full water retain and no weeds. Original owner explained you could interchange corn, cotton, wheat and rice on the same places without losing bonuses.
Here it is as a link: https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-WOPPCSpTOSp-TCTSpOSpSpTSp-POWSpCPSpOT-AAAAAAAAA-RPCrOCOTPT-AAAAAAAAA-TOBPCBCrOP-BTBBOBTCT-BOTBCPPOCo
Sorry, image saved as blank, I meant this
Hi hi. Not sure if this would be the most efficient layout, but I wanted one that only used 8 plots (the 9th is the garden bed at my door for aesthetics ) that was covered 100% by water retain and weed block, and heavy on the potatoes. Don't see many 2x4's so thought I'd share.
That's the one i thought up with my bf, it´s thought for 9 plots, but it's a rare position so if you take the apple tree out it's a 2x8 and just lose a little speed bonus in 3 crops. It's 100% water retain and a big harvest boost. It's for late game, so I don't really need cotton but I like to have a bit of everything, just in case. https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-011-011-011_CROPS-A.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.HA.H-PRTTBBPBB-PCrWSpSpTSpSpP-CrRTTBBPBB-PCrWSpSpTSpSpP-CrRTTB.HB.HPB.HB.H-PCrWSpSpTSpSpP-CrCOTPTORO-WCoWPTPCRO
using just a bit of harvesting booster per day, and seeders and jars properly, you get an average of 3835g per day
Nice, I had something like that before this one. Just use fertilizer to boost really
I'm losing water retain on my apple trees even though I have both tomato/potato next to them, and it's sporadic. Sometimes one or two will need water, sometimes none.
And I lost all fertilizer on my plots after I harvested spicy peppers off of them. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong?
I get the water retain bug sometimes but I've never lost fertilizer
Two different plants, both lost ~70 fertilizer
Rest of the crops are fine, but they aren't peppers. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not.
Can anyone make me an auto farm with chilli corn rice wheat and others
Don't need to have apple, blueberries and cotton
are blueberrys good ?
the one Kitt Katt if you’re in this discord server thank you for the apple seeds and i’m sorry for leaving before saying thank you i owe you my life 🧎💞
as a raw crop they are second worst, but most profitable crop to process (into seeds) so that balances it. But bb and apples are mostly useful for their growth boost to adjacent crops (or to farm them for cake parties). here is the apple+bb layout i use:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-P.HpAAR.HAAPAA-APT.SACrRABB-PR.HP.HpAAAAAA-T.SRBPCrBAAA-BBBBR.HBBBB-AAABCrPBRT.S-AAAAAAP.HpR.HP-BBARCrAT.SPA-AAPAAR.HAAP.Hp
should i keep the star ones and just plant them or it does not matter
star seeds have a base 50% chance of star crops (+2% per gardening level). You should always use star seeds before lv 50
I always plant star before regular
Hello, if anyone can get a look at this and catch anything I could place better, I'd really appreciate it. I tried to get the most harvest boost/water retain my brain could come with
. Do have in mind that sometimes I only sell 1 or 2 stacks of preserved potatoes because I use them for focus (that's why there's a lot). Anything else, I sell!
moved some crops to do 100% water/harvest: https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-RPCrCrTPPCrR-RPTTB.QB.QPB.QB.Q-CrRTPTPCrRCr-TB.QB.QRB.QB.QCrRCr-TRPPCrTTPP-B.QB.QRB.QB.QPRPT-TPPCrPTRTCr-B.QB.QRB.QB.QPRPT-CrTRRPCrCrPT
or you could try something like this (similar crop ratio, less scrambled):
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-PRPTCrBPRB-TRPBCrTBRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRB-PRBTCrBBRP-BRPBCrTTRP-PRBTCrTPRP-BRPTCrBPRB-TRPBCrTBRP
I'm gonna check both, thank you so much!!
Do I need to apply harvest boost fertilizer each day or only the day before the plant is fully grown?
Just unlocked my apple tree today 😌 can't wait to rearrange them for ✨profit✨
you need to use 1 unit per day for full boost. E.g. using 4 unit on potato (5 day grow) will leave you with 4/5 chance to get harvest boost. You can stack fertilizer charges.
Got it, thank you very much. The wiki was confusing me on this.
Seems like you would need a lot of glow worm farms to keep up harvest boost fertilizer, how many are you using?
doing full harvest boost is probably not a very good option for most, best to just use fertilizer to cover some single spots that don't get bonuses from plants. But if you do want a fertilizer heavy layout, apple jam is a decent source of fertilizer. You get 16 units per h, so 4 farms should be enough to over full garden.
i only use 5 spots in my layout so i use the easy option of mushrooms from zeki
I found a layout in this channel that someone posted that I am using, lemme find their post again....
This one, I really liked that I had all the base crops.
weed block can be bought from zeki, quality boost you can craft. Harvest boost is from sweet food in worm farms, or regular food in glow worm farms. They might be using potato preserves in glow farm, but that is a station that gets unlocked a little later
I was going to use crab pot pie in the farm as it seems to give a lot.
I only have 1 glow and 2 regular worm farms at the moment though.
if you want something similar without harvest boost fertilizer, you can try something like this:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-P.WR.WCo.HpT.WCr.WCo.HpP.WR.WCo.Hp-O.HpRP.WC.HpCrT.WO.HpRP.W-Co.WR.HpO.HpCo.WCr.HpC.HpCo.WR.HpO.Hp-T.WCr.WCo.HpP.WR.WCo.HpT.WCr.WCo.Hp-C.HpRT.WO.HpCrP.WC.HpRT.W-Co.WCr.HpC.HpCo.WR.HpO.HpCo.WCr.HpC.Hp-P.WR.WCo.HpT.WCr.WCo.HpP.WR.WCo.Hp-O.HpRP.WC.HpCrT.WO.HpRP.W-Co.WR.HpO.HpCo.WCr.HpC.HpCo.WR.HpO.Hp
personally i'd skip weed fertilizer, unless you want to afk this layout. And if your gardening level is decently high and you don't need fabric for furniture anymore, i'd skip cotton
or you can do some cake parties and use cake, that gives a lot of fertilizer as well
I am currently level 7 on gardening.
star seeds give 50% chance for star crops, 2% more from gardening level, so you already have 64% chance. Might not be worth using cotton for that extra 36% if you could just place more crops in it's spot. But if you still need cotton to complete furniture collection it's probably better to plant it now, then at lv 25+ when it will be completely useless
That's good to know, my furniture making is only level 4 so I am missing most items still.
If you are able to yes
Why does fertilizer stay longer on some of the crops but not on others? o:
fertilizer is always 1 unit per day per slot, but it won't get consumed if you already have a bonus from a crop (or if the plant did not grow as a result of weeds or missing water)
how does growth boost from crops work?
growth boost gives an additional day of growth every 2nd day. However this data is not saved, and resets every time you relog (likely a bug). Additionally there is a bug for crops with growth boost and harvest boost – growth boosted crops only get harvest boost once when extra growth triggers. So a growth boosted potato growing next to some rice will end up having 4/5 chance to get harvest boost.
How many preserve barrels do u assign for Apples?
I had 12, but it seems that it's too much and my apples can't keep up
It depends how many apples do you have and how fast you wanna use/sell jam. I have one apple tree and 2 barrels are enough to make jam from it.
Got it, so 2 barrels per tree, thanks!
@cursive venture if you want to minmax a bit and don't want to do cake parties, you can turn apples to jam and put the jam in worm farms and sell the worms and fertilizer the worm farms produce
That's what I do and make at least 40k a day (most of the time more just depends how much I upkeep the garden in the day)
Glow worm farm or regular?
Regular worm farm is more money from the output
oof did not know this
Im lvl 9 on gardening, cant use apple or blueberrys yet can someone send me a 9x9 plot for profit or leveling whatever you think its more importante
i’ve just reached lvl 10 in gardening and i want to have apples an blueberries but i can’t find the seeds. is it really the only way to but them from badruu for medals?
you can get them from befriending certain villagers ||zeki or naio||
once you get one you can use seed maker to make the rest
there is a small chance to get them from lucky box, but you can also get them from quests: || lv 3 relationship quest for nai'o and zeki for apples, bardruu for bb||
thank you!
hi all! looking for an optimal 9x9 plot that uses all crops and requires little watering. has anyone created one?
(i don't have any spicy peppers atm so I'd be okay if that one is left out)
ALL crops
phew
I wouldn't even dare lol
I'm desperate to get more of everything lol
I keep seeing layouts with only 1 cotton or 1 rice and I need more of those but also just want everything else too
Probably possibly. The layout prob needs to be really weird cause I don't think 100% anything would be possible with all crops
Made smth with all crops but didn't realize that the export feature doesn't rly work on mobile... Rip
Oof, sorry about that
I'm really looking for water retention and weed prevention! The two things I am the worst with haha
Tried tackling that issue today and got hit by brick walls
I may try to recreate what I managed to make on my laptop later today
You can check mine, maybe will inspire you somehow, I posted it here: #🌱│gardening message (with 2 spicy pepper bushes and rather over 25 gardening lvl) and here is my old one: https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-TOCPBBCoBB-PTRRWCoCoTP-WPTBBPBBCo-CTWOPCoCTR-AAAAAAAAA-RTOCoPCWTO-CoBBPBBTPW-PTCoCoWRRTP-BBCoBBPCOT (before 25 lvl, but you can switch some cotton/rice/wheat to corn). Both water retain but not weed proof.
Sent you a message.
So....I hate to have to use star-quality everything in a recipe.
Therefore I've been trying to grow mediocre tomatoes, onions, and so on.
I use normal seeds, don't fertilize, I don't interplant (no positive influences!), I try everything and STILL get 95% star-quality produce!
What am I doing wrong? 😆
(yes, my gardening level is up in the 20s somewhere, dangit)
You’re probably past the point of normal quality harvesting with your level.
Once you get past 25 it’s almost always star quality.
Yup. Hm. Guess I'll have to buy. 😬
That is both awkward and inordinately complicated. You stated it all succinctly yet I still had to read it three times for comprehension! 🤯
Thanks for the write-up, though!
If you ever need regular qualit you can request some
Hi all! Just to be clear... From my understanding its better to turn starred items into seeds and sell these seeds right? and with the non-starred items? keep some for cooking and sell the rest? or preserved? this is where im confused D:
I dont...have regular lol
Mfw gardening level in the 50s xD
this game is addicting lmao I get that
Once i started having 5 apple trees i started leveling 2 to 3 times a day
Yeah im def in the game way more then i should be lollll
do the tomato plants ever die? i messed up my gardening placement and i'm kinda waiting on them to disappear lol
i think you can harvest them like 3 or 4 times before they die
You can also just destroy them by holding right click with the tilling tool
It came in an update several updates ago it's been handy haha
i'm blown away lol
hey friends, anybody have any layouts with all crops ?
I am using this one: #🌱│gardening message
Thank you!
If you need something what will fit your needs more, we can think what to change 😊
I appreciate that! I'm not super picky and gardening confuses me lol. I just know I want a lil bit of everything so this seems good for me lol. Ill try it out for a bit
I am using this layout for over a month, still happy with it, gardening lvl 138... going up pretty fast 😅
gardening level HOW MUCH
i didn't even know that it raised up this much
aaaand im done
Ha. Love that for you
Wait what's the level limit for all of the skills
I thought it ended with level 10 lmao
There is no limit
How so weeds affect 2x2 and 3x3 crops? Does a single weed stop the growth fully, or does it slow it by some percentage?
A weed on a crop will stop it's growth.
I know it stops a single tile crop, but does it fully stop a 2x2 or 3x3 crop? Sometimes they get multiple weeds.
Now I'm curious too
I think it does stop it, yeah. Idk how it works tho or why we can't pull all the weeds if it gets multiple
The rule is the same, you need to add boost to at least 'one side' of plant, so max you can have 4 boosts from other crops. If you want to boost bushes 2x2 (you still have 4 sides but 8 tiles on sides) you have to add at least 2 crops with the same boost, for exampe it can be an onion and carrot, and they don't have to be next to each other but both have to be next to bush. For apple tree you need to use at least 3 crops with the same boost to make it work @undone sandal @rotund slate @pliant nymph
Depends on what you need from them. If it's gold - tomato and pepper are best to seed and corn is best to pickle. If it's focus - pickled potato are the way to go. Blueberries and Apples always get jammed unless I'm running out of seeds and need to replenish my supply. Other crops I plant and seed as needed to attend cooking parties.
thank you ❤️ your timing is awesome lol!
My pleasure!
Ive seen cooking levels over 500
Thank you, but my question wasn't about adjacent buffs. I asked about weeds and whether or not a single weed disables growth on 2x2 and 3x3 crops.
yes, one weed will block whole apple
I am sorry... my English isn't well and I shouldn't respond before morning coffee 🙈 Yeah... agree with gazar. Like I said it can have weed prevention or not, if not, weed can always affect on growth. I didn't have weed prevention on all my bushes and changed this, especially that sometimes I just couldn't see weeds under blueberries or the tree, and I truly hate when bushes are not exactly in the same growth time (when one is small and others are big, it makes me crazy) 😅
At 50 lvl you will get ||gold trophy|| and later it's just a number 😉
these people been living in palia already 😭 lv 500? this is reth!
I can't even manage to reach lv10 cooking
its the cake parties lol

with cake parties you get like 5-6lv/h in cooking (even more if you have good team). I think i saw someone post a screen of level 1000+ cooking (and that was a long time ago, before cake nerf)
I don't really like cooking, I cook when I need focus food or fishing boosts, but sometimes I buy food at the Inn. I support local business 😂 And I've never been to a cake party.
How do I get apple seeds? I accidently sold the one that Nai'o gave me
you can also get some from || zeki's lv 3 relationship quest || other that that, low chance from lucky box or buy from gardening guild store for tokens (expensive)
Thank you!! I think that's th quest im working on right now so I might've lucked out
reviving this because I couldn't find the answer and I have the same question
i think it depends on your play style tbh but starred items in cooking do help a bit if you want good food 🤔 the worth of food is based on it's ingredients
I have also seen I can get starred foods without starred items tho and also that using all starred ingredients doesnt guarantee me a starred meal so im unsure if its worth the ingredients
tomatoes are better preserved for money imo but someone might say otherwise
potatoes are better seeded
corn is better preserved bleh bleh
thank you!
it's RNG based on ingredients AND your level so if you're a high level you don't need to necessarily rely on it
Finally got this after I first got the well. I'm level 108 in gardening
Thanks for a rough estimate of how long thats gonna take me lmao
you are welcome, ive been playing since the 10th of august too, and done the weeklies every week exept for the first where i was still under level 10
oh yeah I also got the plaque
Yeah im level 53 or 54 something like that got the well in the 30s i think
ah yeah makes sense, the well is so useful
got my garden inside in a cortyard layout so its nice to have closer than the little water pond
Oh so the Well is an actual water source? Thats awesome ! WIll be able to buy it next week finally :3
Do you know if you can buy more then one tho or is it a one time purchase?
i bought two bug plaques so i would think if u have the medals u can buy as many as u want
About to try the tactic of letting weeds try to spawn on a single farm lot and just hide that on my property so I can just never have to weed my tomatoes and potatoes
hows that tactic going..
if it works, im also trying it
you can get more than one
not sure where it went wrong, insert crocodile tears here....so, I managed to get 4 x 4⭐ spicy pepper seeds produced in my hopper....went to take them out and put them in storage...and poof into thin air they went....plenty of room in both locked and general storage, they didn't land in either? Is there a glitch? or can they not be put into storage? thankyou in advance to the green thumb that replies
Hi! I did this. Its bugged. It will eventually cause your unweeded plots to only grow when you're on plot. I wrote a report. Im hoping they fix it :)
Its like it eventually reverts your garden to a few patches ago where you didnt get growth off plot lol. Its very weird.
For a few days it worked fine, then @shell iron witnessed the weirdness start, my plot was reverse growing and crap.
Aw shoot good to know thank you!
Do you have any machines right next to the seed maker? Sometimes it's bugged I think and they will go into nearby ones
Can anyone help me with an apple, blueberry, corn, pepper and potato layout. Thanks
did you manage to find a good one? i can help you when i'm free later if needed 😊✨
My hopper that produced the seeds is besides my worm maker, but the seeds didn't land in there either 😢
Okay green thumbs! What do you think is the current best farm layout for making money? Doesn't matter about what buffs or what crops. Preserves or seeds. What brings in the most 🪙 overall and long term?
guess you could compare outputs now that there is an estimate on the planner
ill put mine in and see what it says lol
I also seed potatoes, pickle tomatoes and corn, jam the apples then put the jam in worm farms
so if the estimate is 480 apples
then the total would be 46,080 for the apples
as jam 480 apple jam would be 69,120
as worm farm out put from jam it would be 76,800
each potato makes 4 seeds 🤔 so 204 potatoes turned to seeds = 816 which outputs 24,480 gold
384 pickled tomatoes would be 19,584 gold
sooo my total profit is 120,864 after all that
and if i consistantly rotate crops I make minimum 35 to 40 k a day
usually 20k more or less when i wake up ad 20k more or less when i get ready for bed
This is going to be my next load out. How expensive are the hydro ferts from Zeki?
I have been using potatoes and tomatoes to keep my farm watered but the weeds are constant.
I couldn't find a layout if you can help me I'll be happy
Your numbers are sounding great so far
this one is the best one (assuming reasonable amount of fertilizer) i found so far:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-P.HpAAR.HAAPAA-APT.SACrRABB-PR.HP.HpAAAAAA-T.SRBPCrBAAA-BBBBR.HBBBB-AAABCrPBRT.S-AAAAAAP.HpR.HP-BBARCrAT.SPA-AAPAAR.HAAP.Hp
bb, potato, rice into seeds, apple, tomato, corn into preserves
but best is dependent on how many times you tend to garden per day (this one caps around 14 or so). And you need to account for growth boost bugs if you want to run any layout that depends on it.
2g per unit
you forgot to include replant costs
i wasnt sure how that estimate would go, if it meant you buying the seeds or making the seeds, or if the difference doesnt matter
that checkbox is for including crop cost of crafting seeds

Thank you
I might be getting it to work actually! We shall see 😂
Itll work for a few days :D
Oh boo, cause I'm trying letting them grow on a throwaway plot of carrots 😂
Maybe using a second plot is the secret! Youll have to let me know in a few in game days. I think it worked for me for like 3 rl days before it broke
Youd be good data since youre experimenting!
Oh sorry I mean the soil is all on my default plot, but it's a patch of soil I have separate and put all carrots on
Ah yeah I did that same. I surrounded it with bookshelves so visitors didnt weed it thinking they were doing me favors lmao
Smart! I was planning to hide it behind my house
depends what you want to cook
quality seeds only get when harvested?
i also have 1 plot dedicated to weeds , but didn noticed any problems for the rest
What is this UI? Is this base game?
You can get quality seeds by crafting Quality Vegetable / Fruit to the Seed Collector, though you're also correct that you can get it by harvesting
And quality seeds must give quality crops is that right?
Correct! Oh yeah to addition from my previous statement, sometimes the seeds you gain by Seed Collector is like.. idk.. 10% chance of non-star quality seeds? But still you'll get the starred one overall
Good to know it can work!
ALL crops layout (including corn and pepper) with 100% water retention + 100% weed prevention + 67% harvest boost (no fertilizer required)
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-COBPTBCOT-BPTBCCrPOW-COCoWTPTOC-TCrWPOCWCrP-AAAAAAAAA-PCrRCOPRCrT-COTPTRCoOC-ROPWCSpTPSp-TOCSpTPSpOC
Woah.. all crops and 100% water retain & weed prevention
damn...
Garden planner fanmade website
star seeds have a 50% chance of star crops, 2% more per gardening level. Early (before lv 25) you can also use quality boost from cotton or quality fertilizer to increase this chance
this is good! thank you
Thinking if cotton too less, or can I buy it from vendor?
Thanks! If you feel like there's not enough cotton you can replace some of the rice, wheat or corn with cotton to bump up the numbers. Harvest boost will drop a little though
just fyi - you can get apple seeds from quests: || lv 3 relationship quest for zeki and nai'o||, it's a better option than buying them for tokens
Is it possible to destroy a crop?
yes, right mouse button, hold down over crop
when holding tilling tool
Do you have a link on garden planner for this?
I’m not sure I’m doing this right. Nothing is happening
Equip the hoe, then press and hold right click over the crop. It should give a blue bar like when mining or chopping trees!
The end numbers are different than what's in your first pic though?
Ah! The price approximation atm works on a per-user basis (visualised on the coloured tags under the price). Here they have their settings set to above level 25, and with replant costs disabled
that too
Got it!!?
Thanks! I never thought this way. I were planning to get it by request 10 apple.
hey all! love seeing all the people here, still fairly new to Palia but gardening is my obsession since SDV, here is my plot, let me know what y'all think? https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-BBCoBBCrRCoT-CoCoCoRCrWCoCoCo-CrSpSpCoSpSpPCoCr-CrCoCRCoOCrCoC-AAAAAAAAA-CrCoWWCoCoCrCoT-RCoTBBCoBBCr-PTPCoCoCoWCrW-TCoCrCoSpSpCrSpSp
What’s the best to pickle?
i've seen some calculations, haven't finished mine yet, but they pickle at different speeds so it's a throughput issue which they say results in about the same return honestly
Thank you for this! I was looking for this kind of set-up. I know it's not the most money-making, but I like having some of everything just for cooking, gifts, etc.
I’m having a bit of a brain fart at work. When spicy pepper seeds say 6 days to grow for first harvest does that include the seed day? home so no worries xD
Why does my crops not grow overnight when I have 100% weed prevention and water retain
Is there a limit to crop cycles or mine is just bugged ?
Do I have to be online
now that I have 2-3 blueberries/apples seeds, I should go full seeds machines ?
!crops
Crops can only grow up to 1 stage per Palian Day as long as your online. Keep that in mind!
any advice on a farm plot for best pure xp/hour?
gold income and spending is irrelevant
You didn't read anything I said
i did
but onlyjam is max profit focus
Omg. Lol.
You really didnt
I said it's great xp and the income is inaccurate
But good luck finding your layout lol
I'm asking for a friend who's pre-apples i guess
and yeah, OnlyJams is not made for max xp/hour in mind
thanks for the help anyway
also OnlyJams is made for post-lvl 25
I have 5 apple trees boosted with yield and water retain and level gardening 2 to 3 times a day im in the 50s
You get exp per crop
So tomatoes, apples, blueberries
They come off multiple at a time which is more exp then 1 time crops
So boosting yield on crops that come off in bunches is effective
do you know if quality has a factor in xp ?
That is a good question. There isn't much math or data on exact amounts of exp gain (same with friendship/romance gain) so that stuff can be hard to figure out
Perhaps someone knows though 🤔
Or maybe carrots, tomatoes and rice? Carrots and rice need only 3 days to grow 🤔 If you mix them smart with onion and wheat you will have even more crops because of harvest boost.
just found out that yield and quality doesn't matter in terms of exp
only the type of crop
I thought for sure exp was per crop 🤔 i can be wrong though, happens
Guess apples just give a ton of exp in their own right
Everytime i pluck a tree my focus goes kerplunk ha
Pretty sure it's per crop. Can I have your source that it's not per crop?
yea but don't forget the farming time, and the number of slots
Yeah im prettttyyyy sure it's per crop
he specifically said:
harvesting a potato yielding 2 normal potatoes give the same amount of XP as a plant yielding 3 *quality ones.
He also says in his own comment section he has rounding errors.
Was about to link the same thing
Reddit isn't typically a valuable source. People running Onlyjams tree layout def leveled gardening faster than me running dirty rice. In the same timeframe.
I never thought about XP/hour... I have now 144 lvl, so it increases around 1-2 lvl per day, depends how much I play.
mood
Geez, you have me beat. I'm only 70
I'm around that too.
Trees are powerful
They are. I have a 1 of everything plot. Been debating on changing it since I only ever cook dumplings, pot pie, or cake
I like having everything 😁 And I cook only tomato soup if I don't have to cook anything else for quest or for decoration.
\o/ dirty rice
I finally cleared my garden after harvesting the last veggie! I'm thinking of this garden layout, but would like your honest opinions before officially planting. I don't mind weeding, as the sound is hilarious, and I would only have to water the center of my garden
I've been all about Potato and Tomato farming, and now that I have multiple Apple seeds, this would make for a good Apple/Blueberry Pie and Jam set up!
base exp is always 4 exp per day per square, only boost is getting high growth boost coverage (and using crops that get high growth boost efficiency, so growth time of 3x)
hare is a sample layout for that (also for profit): https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-P.HpAAR.HAAPAA-APT.SACrRABB-PR.HP.HpAAAAAA-T.SRBPCrBAAA-BBBBR.HBBBB-AAABCrPBRT.S-AAAAAAP.HpR.HP-BBARCrAT.SPA-AAPAAR.HAAP.Hp
Do you have any good layout when you just started to get apple/BB seeds ?
I used to be all about tomato/potato farms with an apple and blueberry, but lately it seems like the tomato seeds just don't make enough money to do that anymore. What's the easiest/simplest farm that is ok moneywise anymore?I don't mind watering and weeding.
here is a basic layout for profit while keeping it easy to replant (100% harvest boost and water retain). Potato and rice into seeds, tomato and corn into preserves:
https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP-PRPTCrTPRP
you can replace tomato with more potato if you don't cap your machines
Cool, I was sort of doing this already minus the corn on most of my plot(I do have an apple tree and blueberry bush) Thanks!
I currently have this setup but instead of corn i have wheat, I use potato for Preserve jars (6 currently running), rice+wheat on Worm Farm and Tomato on seeds. I feel my method is inefficient since i keep getting a lot more of tomatoes than i know what to do with and sell them raw and sell tomato seeds as well
but I mainly have so many perserve jars for potato is because i hate cooking and I just use them to eat for focus haha
but yea i feel I am being so inefficient with gardening
gardening turned out to be way more fun than I anticipated ngl
BLUEBERRY SEEDS
If I use high quality fertilizer on a crop on day 1, and it disappears on day 2, does it still take effect? Or do you just use them the day before they produce? If you use it every day does the effect stack?
Every day with teh high quality fertilizer (or companion plant boost) improves the chance of gettign a high quality crop. FYI At level 25 gardening you are gaurunteed that all crops will be high qulaity.
my god that lv25 perk is insane
how do you check those perks? I am interested in checking perks for the other skills
It's less a perk and more of how the RNG is calculated! Which I think is different per skill
Players estimated that you get 2% extra chance to get a quality crop per level. Pair that with the base chance of a star seed and at level 25 it goes to about 100% (approximately). Could also be 99% but it's a good approximate
At level 50, even normal seeds have ~100% chance of producing star crops. Though you might struggle getting normal crops from then on I think
Waited for a while but couldn't get more than 5 weeks to spawn on my singular farm plot, was hoping for free weed block in a sense. A defeat for now, would be a huge advantage if it worked anyways I feel
i'm still pretty low level but i'm using this layout and getting at least 99% star crops https://palia-garden-planner.vercel.app/?layout=v0.2_DIM-111-111-111_CROPS-BBCoBBCrRCoT-CoCoCoRCrWCoCoCo-CoSpSpCrSpSpPCoCr-CrCoCRCoOCrCoC-AAAAAAAAA-CrCoRWCoCrCrCoR-RCoTBBCoBBCr-PTPCoCoCoWCrW-TCoCrCoSpSpCrSpSp
but i do try to use only star seeds
oh that is awesome to know, thank you for the generous answer
I don't have enough coins to buy an apple seed yet so I only have blueberries. Does anyone have a layout for blueberries only / mostly?
Geezus, whoever made this made me feel dirty lol
Why is post-25 specifically mentioned though?
Is there anything specific at post-25?
I made it besty. And it's just income referral. Star crops much more likely post 25.
That's also not accurate anymore the weed plot causes bugs
Not a good layout for people who don't want to babysit a lot of crafters. I use 20 for rice seeds and five for wheat seeds. And a 24-hour period I make about 60k more if I play a lot longer than usual
Oh really? Damn... i hate weeds, so i was planning to use that layout
There's somebody else testing to see if it breaks for them and if we can find the cause for reports so it may or may not get fixed in the future
It caused my plot to revert to a previous patch and only grew when I was on plot at 6:00 a.m. lol
Was originally using an Apple/Blueberry into Jam into Worm/Fertilizer farm, but managing it and having to log in every hour so that the Apples can keep up with the number of Preservation Jars was getting tiring, so was looking for a much lazier but also profitable layout
(Also was getting annoyed that if i miss a single weed, the crops desync, and i have to wait an ingame day to sync them up again)
I made the rice and wheat layout with my boyfriend schedule in mine because he works 12 hours every day and sometimes 6 days a week. The harvest only being three and four days is pretty good for somebody who isn't as active
Ignore typos. I'm using speech to text cuz I'm cooking dinner lol
Man, wish i knew about this layout earlier... i spent so much on buying all the crafting licenses... now it feels completely wasted
??? What are u using the licenses on? Preserving the rice and wheat?
I mean it can be used without that many but it's not going to be as profitable as fast
You can't preserve rice and wheat. I seed them
This lol
So you turn the crops into seeds to sell?
Correct
Ahhhh...
Welp... time to craft a ton of seeders lol
Or maybe not since i intend to log in less, i probably won't need them
well actually its good to load them up if youre online less
those suckers go when youre offline
yeah, but if i'm offline more, the crops grow slower, and there won't be alot to load
meaning i won't need alot of seeders
i make 20k or so when i wake up and 20k or so when i go to bed with my preserve jars
Was making this myself, could be more if shipping bin had more space
But it was getting annoying having to log in every hour
sometimes i just take it all to zekis when im too lazy for shipping bin
i think i don't even leave the farm anymore on weekdays since i just log in to advance the crops
So i just dump whatever into the bin and log out
I'm still 400 renown short of unlocking all the housing space
