Cook with someone else who has a higher level recipe
Like cake
They can start it
If they have the ingredients you can just put stuff in the oven and take it out and it'll still count
You'll level up fast (especially if you are using focus)

I went from start to level 8 super fast stirring the pot for soup xD

You can ask in your game chat if someone can help you cook something by starting the recipe and contributing and you'll probably get some replies if its not all newbies in your server xD

You can see what a recipe will give you for focus just make what you are able to with around that focus (the 350 ones are good and starred 250 ish listed ones since starred will be more)

Tomato soup is awesome.. Simple and cheap, and hits 412 I think when starred. It's a friendship reward for level 3 with Reth, hidden away in his storeroom.

I would probably say choosing recipes that give you 100-150 of focus, since if you choose more, you’ll just run around with 100-200 focus a lot. Make yourself a stuck of one food type and run around with it, that’s what I usually did to keep my focus on max for most of the time

Okay, stupid question maybe: Does anyone have some insight why I always have to wait like half an hour until someone comes when I find a flow tree and write that in the chat?

So, I'm finding it nearly impossible to make Shepps pie on my own. It feels like no matter what I do, the meat takes forever to fry up and my recipe is always ruined because I'm not done in time.

The same thing happened when I tried to make a steak dinner. The frying of the meat just sucks. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong....I assumed I have to get the little ball in the little white circle.

There's a lot of new players, and they don't have the axe level to cut the trees so they don't respond. Others are doing the various Temple content which shares the Bahari shard, and they aren't going to stop doing that to go out of the temple and run for a tree. Plus, the grove has spoiled people, so they wait for that rather than jump at random trees.

Oh, you mean they are not just random once-in-a-while trees that can be found in Kilima?

Yes and no. Yes they're random once-in-awhile trees either in Kilima or Bahari Bay, but now and then a grove will sprout that will have multiple trees at once.

I find it much easier to get flow wood than the rare ore for example

The grove shows up in Bahari Bay at every in game midnight. Anywhere from 4 to 9 trees at a time depending on location and the trees vary in size from minatures to large. Otherwise, flow trees will randomly spawn after a normal tree is cut down. Trees can also be farmed and flow trees force spawned by mass deforestation.

I was kinda hesitant to work with a group when it came to chopping flow trees because I know some people are... well.. but my first group was so lovely and I learned that tapping those trees only once would get you the loot anyway so I followed the group and it was a wonderful experience. You can mix and match just not like the same thing so like you csn use 10 starred carrots and non starred something else but you cant use 5 starred carrots and 5 non starred carrots

I wanted to post something that I have observed with the new Flow Tree Groves. When they was first put in to the game, the first few I joined seemed to spawn a Heartdrop Lily and Dari Cloves in the area of the grove. I have joined 2 today, the first grove had the Azure Chappa which was the spawn point North of the Outskirts fast travel. The second spawn which was again the Outskirts North had a starred Fairy Mantis right next to one of the flow trees. I have seen quite a few players mention that they themselves have caught rare bugs including starred Rainbow Tipped Butterflies that have spawned at the flow tree groves. Thought I would post this so that players can keep and eye out for the rarer items that are in game and that can sometimes be a headache to collect!!

it's pretty slow, dead, and mostly Asian, which was not thought out when they thought to release APAC servers as Australians and NZ people get placed there

That's right, pick up all the sweet leaf and morel mushrooms and eventually the Dari will show up. I have noticed less people calling them out when they find them though, so good luck.

Hello. I managed to cook (am level 15 only) the Oysters Akwindu, and the Petit Five just now. My jaw dropped when I saw what is to be done for the Muujin Bahari. I can't do that alone with so much on prep station. Can anyone help and cook this with me? Else I will never meet Subaru, errr Sumita, err you know, that one 😄

Tbh my approach to this is to do everything on one station, then move to another, and eventually fill the lacks later. What I found helpful, or what generally happens at cooking parties is that one person is set on one station - no moving around, just this one, and one person on each. If cooking with one more person, it would be best imo for one of you to stay at the cutting, and the other to do the rest. Take this with grain of salt, Im somewhat newbie in cooking world of palia too

They are very tough in general. Even with dispel arrows and more people you may stumble into a tree that holds multiple of them, and then you have no way of knowing which is "yours". Due to this, many times it turns to be waste of arrows, because often you're more likely to loose the visual of it than actual shoot it down
