Regular Sernuk drops the regular plush, Elder Sernuk drops the elder, and the Proudhorn is currently dropping The Order Sernuk which comes from Zeki's Wonderous Machine but will eventually be corrected to drop the Proudhorn plush.

I seen bugs disappear into the ground and go invisible but you can still see the stop/stun effect and if you keep throwing bug bombs, you will get the stars over it’s head when it’s lootable. Also have loot bags for Sernuk and Muujin disappear into the ground. Sometimes they are still lootable. Sometimes they are just Gone

I have yet to get the Elder Sernuk Plushie even after thousands of arrows and leveling 15 times. I got the Order be luck when I was helping a random group with Dispel Arrows and I farmed the regular Sernuk plushie in a couple of hours. Those that got the Elder Sernuk Plushie, was it in Bahari Bay or Kilima?

Exactly at 6PM game time use a Buzzy Jar, south of the Leafhopper farm area and follow the map indicator for rare bugs. Though they can spawn just about anywhere. If you don't find one quick enough, relog and hope for a new server.

I have managed to catch it almost every time I try. I already have 23 Gossamer in stock... I'm looking for a gossamer with a star to complete the collection. I use the buzzy jar at 6pm and run all over Kilima... When there's a rare bug signal I activate the candle and get closer. I usually grab 1 or 2 gossamer every time I do this.

Extra tip: rare bugs appear more easily if you catch the corresponding common bugs, that is, catch at least 20 common moths if Gossamer doesn't appear in two or three laps around Kilima

Chop the birch trees in front Delaila's house from 3am to 6pm... If dont appears after chop the 5 birch trees, wait its grows and try again.. Its 100% you get at least one Glory Bee each day doing this... Tip: use the smoke candle to get close the Glory Bee and you will not miss the shot

Used this pathing last night with a buzzy jar at 3am and ended up getting a rainbow butterfly, and a fairy mantis. I haven’t had any luck with the duskwing at dragon shrine yet tho.

The most helpful thing is if you join a server and grove spawned on the other side of the map you have a better chance of finding them because not as many people are running through scaring the bugs away

You won’t bring the group down you might just struggle to get hits on some sernuks because people fire their arrows like machine guns lol as long as you’re ok with missing out on some loot I say go for it

Just make sure you have the resources to craft a lot of arrows. I went out with taharu and went through 200 arrows in 30mins lol

I don't understand S6 and their odds. Regular and Elder Sernuk are 1/1000 odds for the plushies. I took me about 300 arrows to get a regular Sernuk plush and about 5,000 arrows to get the Elder Sernuk Plush. And for some weird reason, I got a second one of each type with less than 50 kills of each one.

it's not based on how many you take down. it's more along the lines of rolling a d100 or d1000 dice at the loot pick up and you need to get a 1 to get the plush

They should have some type of fail safe mechanism so if you don't get one after X number of kills, the odds of getting one are lowered. Finding Elder Sernuk can be a real pain some times.

A nice trick to finding gatherables is to go to bahari early in the day between 11am-6pm because most people don’t go until after 6pm so they will be there for the grove.

I think many players worry about FOMO or bugging out and try to get them all before anything happens. Like with the Order of the Sernuk plushie. I wasn't even trying to get them but to level up my hunting to 100 but I got the Order one from helping a group with my dispel arrows. And then, well, I had to get them all.

the wolf was easier before it took a month off to train and become stronger (really uncool behavior tbh). there are 3 plushie drops, one from each sernuk. the fancy white deer is dropping the incorrect plushie (order) and will likely be fixed in an upcoming patch

the little plateau above tam tam house used to be thr best wolf spot. it would spawn in an area it couldn't escape and if you cut the 3 trees up there it would just run around and be easy picking. they made it so it doesn't spawn there anymore

There is only those three for now because the order sernuk shouldnt drop from the Proudhorn. The Order Sernuk plush is supposed to only come from the Lucky Zeki machine, but there is a bug and the proudhorn is dropping the Order plush instead of the Proudhorn plush. So until they fix it, those three are the only three

i think the starred rainbow was my second or third one seeing it (i wasn't actively hunting it). groves are probably the best way to get one, if you are lucky enough to get to a grove early. i actually caught mine during an impromptu honey lure party at pulsewater around 3:30am, after we cut the grove

for the duskwinf they don’t spawn on trees. They spawn near the dragon shrine. Using a few lures (one at a time) at 3 am in game time at the area can usually draw some out

@olive atlas - my trick is slowly sneak up on them first, when they start to split, hit anyone of the duplicates with the dispel arrow then quickly look around for the real one. it'll be knocked with the stars around its head, and that's when you spam the dispel arrows on it until it dies

These are the best two location for solo hunting the magic mujin as you can trap them on the hill though having at least 1 person to help u shoot while you chop trees can really make it easier but it's doable if you use dispel arrows or slow down arrows, to kill him you need to hit em 5 times with dispel / fine arrows or 6 times with slow down / standerd arrrows before he jumps on a tree as he will reset to full HP again

If you are talking about deer in Bahari then the South part of Flooded Steps or North of Windy Ruins are both good spots. However in Kilima, then Whispering Banks is a good spot for normal deer

in kilima you can endlessly farm deer in a circle. clear one zone and move to the next where they spawned in, and repeat. helps to be the only hunter
in bahari I would go from stables to outskirts, to north proudhorn and then back to stables (from above, collecting briars if possible), and then teleport to hideaway and head to windy. after windy you can run to pulse/najuma lake
for glambi I mostly would just get a shot in if I saw it on my northern rotation

1. join in if you see anyone else bug hunting while you're running around, even if they're only catching common bugs
2. if anyone says they're doing a honey lure, join in!
3. put a honey lure out yourself and call it out in chat
4. call out epic bugs in chat if you see any and others may join
5. get to the flow grove as early as possible and if there's an epic bug, stay back until others arrive and try to catch it
6. if all else fails, you can just ask here or in chat if anyone could join you quickly for some bug hunting. meet up somewhere and catch every bug you see until you both finish it

Seems pretty accurate, I turn on my buzzy jar at 2:45am (15 in game minutes before the butterfly appears) to see what bugs I can ignore on the map. I’ve caught rainbow butterflies near pavel, anywhere a blue butterfly can spawn in south bahari a rainbow can also so don’t be too quick to ignore those spots!

Do not stop killing regular (Only regular to not mess with the metrics) sernuk, until I have killed 1000 of them, including leaving the server. 1 server, 1000 deaths at my hands. Report findings. Because I am certain this RNG is boning me, and I kind of want to prove it.

idk if it's conformed anywhere but there is likely a load limit on the number of insects in an area. scaring off or catching commons will allow the next respawn to possibly include rare or epics. since you can't scare common blue butterfly those need to be caught in a pokeball (it feels very much like pokemon legends arceus lol)

the drop chance for both the normal and elder plushes is 0.1% and the proudhorn one is 1%, so it just depends on how lucky you get. i got the regular in like... 50-100 kills and the order sernuk in like 4 or 5 proudhorn kills. but i've used about 6000 slowdown arrows so far trying to get the elder one and nada

just the usual - use a buzzy jar at 3am and run between hodari's house and hideaway bluffs. if you get nothing, switch servers. (leave bahari and come back, or relog)

getting to flow groves first is another possible way. every flow grove will have either a magic sernuk/chapaa/muujin or an epic bug. but people tend to catch it or scare it away by accident so you need to get there early.

yes, but they are easily spooked, so people may be running around and not notice them. another good way to find rainbows is to be the first to a grove, and approach slowly before calling it. groves will always spawn an epic bug or a magical creature with them

if groves are hard to get to first, you can try being in pulsewater at around 2:30, pop a buzzy jar at 2:55 and then at 3 when the bugs change out follow the buzzy jar to where it leads

The Ancient Amber Beetle spawns in Northern Bahari but there is also a chance that it will spawn when you chop sapwood trees in Bahari

Chopping trees is the most straight forward way to catch them

all the sernuks have their own plushie type, regardless of where they are. the ones in kilima are mostly regular ones and that's the plushie you can get from them, the ones in bahari are mostly elder and proudhorned and their also have their own plushie types

Has anyone seen a duskwing butterfly spawn at all lately? It's uncommon, not even rare. Tried lures, buzzy jars and circling it's spawn areas constantly for 15 Palian days. Nothing but mantises, crickets, common butterflies and kilima nightmoths showed up.

From 3am to 6am in Pulsewater with a buzzy jar it is 90% certain that you will catch one or two every day... Only on the ground and generally in the open field... If the buzzy points to trees or hills, don't waste time... While you wait, keep catching common blue ones to help spawn

I use the smoke candle to prevent the bug from escaping... But as it is difficult to get material to produce and I already have more than 20 RTB in my chest (still hunting for a star) I no longer use the candle and the RTB is tame and easy to catch... But I recommend the candle to make sure it catches

The smoke candle doesn't scare away the bug when you get close. It's great for Jewelwing, spitfire, firebreathing dragonfly, Raspberry... That is, any insect that runs away when you get close... The candle makes you invisible to the bug and you can get very close to shoot... I advise holding on the finger on the kitten after the first shot, because otherwise the bug could still escape

Yes, Lure attracts bugs from the area and at that time and increases the chance of attracting the bug you are looking for but it is not guaranteed that it will spawn

UNREAL I JUST GOT ONE. Randomly at pulse water for quests at about 1 am so I cleared out all the bugs there and just a little after 3 a rainbow tip showed up! I had no buffs or anything and wasn’t planning on searching on this bahari trip! I swear venting on the internet is the way to go for spawns lol lol

That's right. Hunting common bugs spawns rare bugs. So many times, no rares would appear on my buzzy and I would start to pick up common ones and the buzzy would instantly start showing rares. Proven to work

It’s a butterfly but yes I have, I made sure to scare away bugs and catch the common butterflies to make it spawn

I haven't tried to catch one lately but about 10 days ago I caught two and one with a star, using a Lure there at the Phoenix Shrine. As I've only been looking for rare ones, I'm only using the buzzy but I always catch Spotted Mantis there... By the way, when I used the Lure it was in the middle of the afternoon... In time: uncommon bugs don't appear in the buzzy, only the rare ones, so there's no point using buzzy for Duskwing Butterfly

Nice! I really like the starred bugs to display. I caught many spotted mantises/mantes without much strategy and that one is considered to be rare. I used regular sticky bombs and waited for the right time. This duskwing butterfly is just uncommon and requires more strategy. Did manage to catch a duskwing just now using Ermecy Moonstar's strategy. It worked.

I don't know this strategy... I learned it through trial and error. In the case of the Duskwing, I got it at the beginning when I didn't even have access to any accessory but it took me a long time to find one... Later I saw someone using the Lure at the Phoenix Shrine and I decided to try it and it worked really well

Ancient Amber is emerging when cutting juniper trees in Bahari. I had already caught 8, 6 using buzzy jar and two during a Grove with Lure. This week I was cutting down juniper trees to get seeds and one came up and I took it. I continued cutting juniper trees and another one appeared... In the end I caught 3 in about 5 minutes

SO here's my understanding of the issue. When floating around in the map, the blue bugs are the paper lantern bugs and the green bugs are bahari glowbugs. Once you catch them, there is a glitch that makes the icons switch colors. So in your inventory, the green ones will display as paper lantern bug (incorrect) and the blue ones will display as bahari glowbug (incorrect)
