What I'm doing is I put the paver on the ground, click and move it up to hang off the floor, hotkey to the object I want to place, try and place it with V instead of click (but it won't let me attach to the part that's hanging off)

from what ive seen, there is glitching and things that look like glitching but arent bc they dont require any fancy key presses or forcing the placement of one thing to make something else happen. basic rotation just uses a couple of objects and the in game systems to work, no "glitch" required

I had a friend come over and test, and they couldn't rotate shelves either.

Paintings, wall art, that type of thing still rotates just fine.





We've come to realize that its only some of the shelves that can't be rotated. The ones we've tested and can't be rotated are:

its clear the shelf objects need to be thoroughly looked through to make sure they can all be rotated as I'm not sure if there are any others that can't be.

You have to figure out the basics of sinking and floating first before trying something this complex. My entire dock is floated off of the crate next to the light post, so it is all anchored on the grid. You just have to gauge distance.

I used one of the builder's bridge pieces as a guide as well

I have lots of terrain bits clipping into my house, I flicked them off a bug. So drop framerate to 30, grab a bug, and have your mouse with terrain selected go between surface of bug and spot you want place while frantically clicking your alt placement key (I think main placement works if you don't have a second one set)
