When cooking, how do we know what station to go to next? I am cooking chappa masala and burned my first as I was unsure what station to go too and why it was not giving man an option on any station

having them closer together will help, the closer you are, the easier you'll see the cooking "speech bubbles", these things hover above the stations you need - other than that it tells you prior to clicking make 🙂

if you do it enough they'll become second nature tbh

Most recipes dont have an exact set order but on the recipe before you start you there are station tabs that tell you the steps 🙂

Edit: for chappa masala, that ones complicated cause you need multiple sprouts which isnt always super clear cause youll think youd done something but in reality you just had to do it again.

Does the game care when you plant a crop that has a benefit? For example, if I wait for my apple tree to be ready to harvest, then that same day before I grab the apples, I plant cotton next to it, when I harvest the tree will it get the "quality boost" effect even though I didn't plant the cotton until harvest day?

it has percentages that the crop keeps track of until it is ready to harvest. so if you don't plant your booster crop before it is ready to harvest, you won't get the boosts

you are not guaranteed to get the boost, either, even if it is boosted for the whole growth period

also @gilded yarrow you can pick everything in north bahari and try to force spawn the lilly, they're just that rare sadly

flooded steps is where I've seen most, that one on it's own at the wall, as that area is picked clean for sweetleaf often

you also have the option of buying them with medals iirc

I think the best you can do right now is for screenshots.. K to take pictures, save them to album, theyre located in %LOCALAPPDATA%/Palia/Saved/Screenshots and wont have UI in them...

As far as hiding UI during gameplay I don't think that's a thing currently!

You can surely suggest it be added though as that is a common option in MMOs

hey i got a bug wondering if anyone knows a work around! just logged im after a momth off and my seed collectors and worm farms are full of invisible products.

i can click on them and for a second see them (fertilizer, worms) but can’t acquire them

Being offline for an extended period is known to cause this bug where your crafters get stuck! Youll have to place more to use for now and/or wait for a patch. It is a known bug.

you can't pick them up if they are crafting. Can't use room removal to do this either. They really should give us option to pick crafters and lose current crafting (and ingredients) as a quickfix to this bug

You are correct that it is stopping you on the default slot (you can change this in the top part of the H screen). Eir is telling you if you make a house on the next slot (not the default) you can use it as the base for a new house (unrelated to the default slot)

I know how this sounds but, I can't stop getting gold quality vegetables, which makes it so I can't cook anything since gold foragables are so rare.

I really wish you could use gold quality vegetables in regular recipes.

I was reading another comment where the person said that once they started ussing star items in the seed maker they grew mostly star quality crops. So I THINK you can do that .

also at lv25 gardening you get 100% star yield from star seeds .. at lv50 you get star crops from unstarred seeds

The middle mouse button puts a marker on the map and compass. Maybe it works if you are in a group. I saw in-game chat that leads me to think it works in group. Not 100% sue though.

Used all normal quality seeds, except for rice. No fertilizer, no quality boost crops. Also, THANK YOU OMG i did not know that lockbox trick works!!!

I have not seen it done and I have seen tons of people sharing locations of flow trees. IT is just by mentioning landmarks nearby.

Try using the marker while in a party. Also, communities may be a type of guild. I'm not sure. But it might work there too.

I think a general marker would be a negatiove as it would make a messy map and distract and fool players.

Yeah, true. This would be a good question for the devs. The game is still beta and I know the wiki has at least a rather well developed French translation. Games often have a team working on "localities" I think that is the term. So different languages can be in the game. I am not sure how that works as a translator for game chat. @turbid pasture

That can't be true, right? Unless all places they can be found have exactly the same number of common fish? Like, if there's 4 different kinds of common fish, that's a 25% chance if it's a common fish it'll be a bass. If there's 6 common fish, that goes down to 16.6% - RNG is always a factor, I'm just trying to minimize it.
