porches do not take up a building slot, you can relocate the porch or remove it at any time. Keep in mind you can place multiple porches/chimneys and now doors as well IF you are not at 15/15 cap. Once you have your desired porches etc you can place the 15th/15 building

The emberborn set is finally really here - to get started, go to your workbench, DO NOT FILTER, scroll down to where your standard axe recipe is and the brazier will be 1 spot above it. Like the metal chapaa and enchanted candles, it does not show up in any filters. Craft it and you'll get the next recipe.

My crops have both water retention and weed prevention, but when I’m away for multiple hours they only progress by one stage instead of fully developing overnight. yea this has been true since the game hit and that is for time spent/money made in this game the order is

Cooking (with friends) > Gardening > fishing > hunting (the last 2 are closer and dependant on skill/buffs used/if you cook the loot etc)

can someone explain to me how harvestboost fertilizer works? I put seeds down, I water them. I add the fert and when I harvest I get about 12-15 carrots from the 6 spots I have planted. But I get the same when I also don't put the fert down. So what is it doing?

you need to apply 1 unit of harvest boost fertilizer per day to get 100% chance for harvest boost (can stack fertilizer, just not too high or it may bug). If you apply partial fertilizer you get less chance. e.g if you only use 1 fertilizer for carrot (3 day grow cycle) you get 1/3 chance for +50% yield

for harvest boost on smaller crops ie potatoes/corn/wheat etc you will never get all crops to produce the max harvest, there will unfortunately always be the ocassion you get 2/3 rather than 3. if you use the vercell apps harvest by day drop down view, you will see what i mean here better than my poor explanation haha

I've read it's a 1 in 89 chance in ponds with glowworms - do make sure you're at the right place/right bait, but up to 500 tries is fairly common, up to 1000 is not unheard of but I'd get suspicious around then, 2k is definitely bugged IMO

here is my estimate for conversion rate:
glow worm = value/50 rounded with min of 1
fertilizer = 2 + (value/10 rounded with min of 1)
regular worm = same as fert
quality fert = 5 + (value/4 rounded with min 1)
so it's just a matter of throwing expensive things at it. mushroom from zeki is 16g and will give you 1 worm and 3 fertilizer (15g). star apple jam will get you 3, cake up to 5 i think

the 8 chest limit is also 'per expansion', so you can move some of your other chests that are frankly just getting in the way into an entire different housing expansion, and you'll still get the credit for having it (for your max amount), but it won't be in the way

...and your primary expansion won't be sitting right at the cap of 8

You can pick up just a single room at a time. if you have any other rooms 'slaved' to that room, they might also get picked up (so you have to pick up from the outside-in, opposite of how you placed them down originally)

Can't post in the #1135683325227446393 for some reason so having to post this here. Whenever I interact with a character when they are in their home I get stuck and can't exit the dialogue screen, all my inventory disappears, my gold/renown bugs too and none of my tools(Pick/rod, axe etc) show either, The only way I can get out of this is to use the 'Return home' shortcut on my map screen. For any given fish, I use the wiki. The wiki says what time of day, location, and bait (or lack of bait) needed to catch that fish. It's been a game-changer for me.
