It is always janky my first boot in of a session and then I tend to be fine. I think it just has to load a lot of assets to the memory and it struggles. I dont have a high end PC, so that doesnt help. It was high end 10 years ago hahaha but it still works.

I feel you!!! The jumping and climbing is already janky enough and this is on another level. Also just trying to orient around and figure out where you are. Truly it's challenging and not in a way that feels good for the player. Fine line between challenging good and challenging extremely frustrating/player unfriendly.

I know a lot of people struggled with it and some have never gotten past it and that is truly a hallmark of bad design.

Yes but map markers are also vague. When there are a billion places to jump or climb in the given area it's still tricky to find them. Let alone get to them even if you know where they are. It requires a level of dexterity and timing at times that isnt asked for nearly anywhere else in the game which is an unexpected difficulty spike for a non optional story quest.

tbh i get the complaints about gales, i didnt like it till i got my bearing there either AND there is nothing like it in the game. like it does make sense considering the temples are one of the last defences for humanity that they are hard to deal with. but maybe more stuff in the same relm/ more human ruins to explore would tie the temples in better

Flames took me a long time, but other than checking a YT video once to confirm that a certain jump was indeed possible, I figured it out.

I didnt realize the wall decorations were climbing walls for a long time and was so confused. Once I figured it out I was good. The area i struggled with is the Gardener area with the lasers. My computer wasnt rendering them so I was constantly dying without realizing why. Finally I found a reddit post where someone recommended tweaking some settings and lo and behold. Laser death no more.

I think it's just part of the conversation of straight up not being able to get stuff without some random element outside of the player's control which does cause pent up frustration when unaddressed. Since the loot pile issue is so big right now it brings focus to other areas where this is also the case. I dont care about a nameplate personally lol.

It's considered courtesy to leave a vote on every plot you visit, it's just hard to get foot traffic without promoting

An easy fix for the nameplates would be each vote you get in a category counts for a point in that react. Once you save up enough react points, you can buy the corresponding nameplate with those points.

or an accumulation or something. There are a ton of easy fixes instead of trawling around for votes or wasting all your tickets on hoping someone will vote a certain way.

one thing to keep in mind when it comes to server hopping is that the game tries to put you in servers with your friends, so unless you have a bunch of people online that your using to server hop between, then just leaving and coming back has a high chance of putting you back into the same server if your friend is there despite it saying that you moved to a "new" server

No server that is the best but sometimes you have others also searching for the oysters and it’ll be harder to find. A quick change to kilima and back usually refreshes the server your on. Just stick along the coast and walk from both sides of baharis bays coast.

you talki out the blue one? that one allows you to pick any animal of that species from your ranch to act as a pet. its more expensive because of that, you could get the animal you want seperately, but the choices are limited and most people prefer thier pretty shiny ranch animal favorite

The bundles give you a handful of epic/legendary variety cookies, the handlers license which allows you to take your ranch animals out as pets, and a random aura, to my knowledge that's pretty much it

Does anyone else have severe lag issues on laptop? My wifi is great, my storage and drivers and all that should be fine, all my graphics settings are at the lowest they can be. Yet I still spend 10 minutes loading into kilima, and then can't move my character for another 5 because every move I make causes the game to almost crash, then the same process all over again any time I want to go anywhere. This has been happening for at minimum of 2 months, the game is nearly unplayable for me.

Kilima is pretty rough right now with the snow, even my custom built desk top struggles to load it sometimes but handles other much more demanding games just fine

killima lag is a problem yeah, its just rendering in all the assets and animations. unfortunately, some people experience it worse thann others

they layered the snow and its sparkly animation over the fall leaves assets. so its doubled down on whats loading

I've been getting bad lag the past few weeks, even before I went onto wifi after our intenet got changed. It's so bad, I can lag just gathering on my home plot. I play guild wars 2 as well, and the bad lag is only happening with Palia.

Once they remove the snow it should be alot better, my lag and loading times increased quite a bit once they enabled it, I think its because they overlayed it ontop of the fall textures, so its loading 2 different texture maps at the same time ontop of everything else

Okay so when I check my inventory I can see all the things in that section but when I’m playing and I try to switch ammo etc I can only see a few of my arrows and nothing.l else like I can’t pick anything hopefully this makes sense

Yay I have freckles, they seem to show up okay on me, I turned the blush option up to 100%

OH the ammo loaded only goes by the closest stack to the bottom and closest to one of that item, once it hits 0 it will load another stack, thats normal

it might only say 60, but if you have more stacks once that 60 hits 0 itll load another hundred

if that makes sense

No they I understand but my other ammos aren’t showing up like I have different kinds it used to let you see an pick which one you want to use like to switch from a fine arrow and a flare or an elderwood arrow

It’s not letting me do that but I can see all the different options in my inventory but not when I click to switch while playing

the recipe requires the pre req recipes to be crafted, the crafted recipe for sumer stripe umbrella will be used in the recipe for the snowy parasol ect. but you need both to make it

no. the infected spot is remaining and i'm fishing as close to it as i can. honestly...i hate fishing. it feels so olympic medal winning level of skill to just catch a freaking fish.

Is there a bug with star quality fish? I have the quest to catch 5 uncommon star quality fish for Elouisa. I swear it said 2- then it went to 0. Thought maybe I saw it wrong. Then I have a weekly to catch 10 star quality. I checked it and it said I had 5. Just checked it again. It now says 4.

there is the fishing cast speed you can adjust but that is only for when you are throwing your line out to the water, theres no real setting to adjust your fishing sens but the major safe zone speed booster hook and fish stew both help with that regard

its your lunar xp bar, it shows you how close you are to the next reward, that "bunny" is actually a kitsuu, meaning you're working on the path of the kitsuu, if you're done with that undle for whatever reason you can change the path youre on by hitting that big red button in your inventory and clicking the greyed out lightning bolt on the path or the cardigan
