honestly i prefer the way tf2/cs2 does with trading, a confirmations message on your steam phone app and then wait 7 days before it actually finalizes, but then again those items have actual monetary value

tbf i didnt even bother explaining it so for steam, you can basically give the person you're trading anything, even if the recipient doesnt give me something back, from what i understand in palia, say i want the rtb plush and i trade in a snail plush, do i have to give something else in addition to the snail or can i go "heres my snail for your rtb"?

It can be a 1:1 trade, if both parties agree to it, then yes, a snail for a RTB can be an accepted trade. You can trade up to a 1:3 ratio per trade round.

Perhaps! As long as you're not trading the last of a plushie you like, can't get again without trading, it seems fine. Someone might be like, "eh, do you have blank (for example, another snail, or a pod I'm missing)?" Or something and then you can go from there

this is all interesting info for me, i think its because of the fact that in palia, are we allowed to straight up gift someone a plushie like "heres a free rtb plush for you, no need to trade me something back"

You can, but you both also have to have an identical plushie to trade within the trade round to "give" someone a plushie

So for this example, if someone wanted to give someone else a RTB plush, they'd put up the RTB and then both players would trade, say, a normal chapaa plushie each.

It's a little overwhelming no matter how you approach it imo, but I honestly felt it was easier to just stand around in the underground and wait for someone to say they were looking for something I could give. Then I'd give a list of things I'm looking for and we'd settle on a trade. All the tier lists and trading politics in this server stress me out

I don't see a point in gouging someone for it when I could do an easy trade to get what I need

no not really, i think its literally down to the fact that i have that high of a fov because of fps games like tf2, the default fov number was so low, it legit feels like tunnel vision, which is why its at the highest possible

As for gems, apart from having achievement chart for them (All the stars in the Ground), gifting to NPC for friendship boost, few required for bundles or quest, they are great for selling, good coin and starred gems are great kept for decor if you are into that.

paper lantern bugs spawn in bahari coast and bahari forest from 6pm to 3am, they're pretty easy to get and a lot of them spawn <33 good luck <3

Side One with the release of the Rainbow-Tipped Butterfly Plush matched with the algorithm already having a low spawn rate, it has added a competitive edge
Side Two Lures were being used very frequently in the first couple weeks, and unknowingly other members were causing grievances to others by scaring away target bugs by being present and swarming lure parties happening, hence part of the frustration being directed at others
Side Three there is no control in public areas, the only area you can control is your home plots. While you may be experiencing this effect of “rudeness”, it seems to be the only method some people are taking directly as “trying kindness” first is usually met with abrupt “no” and “too bad” from those invading the lure area.

There is a large player base that is very “me first” that has been making a splash these past two months versus the entirety of my gameplay. I feed my worms all the standard quality fish and meat grilled, so I get the fertiliser as well. It's nice getting lots of crops without needing to worry too much about sister planting

Always happy to explain these kinds of things, you never know if it's their first time or they just didn't know.
Suppose, since we're at it: general Grove etiquette is find it and call it out. Universal chop time is considered 3am, but I have seen people pushing for it earlier. I myself do that too if it's an early find, but I ALWAYS wait if someone needs it.
You're gonna meet the occasional few who do what they want anyways. Sometimes they take a few trees before they stop. That's where I politely tell them to wait if I see it, but any further than that and I'm going to start getting a little more mean (due to 1 certain experience). It respawns in 1 hour or so, so it's not worth making huge deals worth out of.
Oh, and the 1-shot trees are finder's keepers.

If it's going to take a while for people to get there, sometimes I'll hunt in the area. I usually end up finding tier 3 animals in the vicinity, not just because they sometimes spawn at groves, but because people are busy and not chasing them all over the map.

Another thing to note is that these Grove Gobblers seem to thrive on the negative attention they generate. Truly this makes blocking and hopping the best option, especially since these gobblers have a tendency to threaten to report you for calling them out. Block, hop, and at the same time, add people you have positive interactions with so you'll get lumped into friendly servers more often. Groves and gobblers will always be a thing. It comes down to prioritizing our peace and online wellbeing over some non-limited game resources.

it’s rng. if you’d like to conserve worms, you can wait to see if it’s the fish you want. if it’s not the marlin, wait until they let go of the line and swim back down then pull your line away. it will still degrade your rod/hook health, but you’ll keep your worm. otherwise it’s just a waiting game.

Spitfire cicada & rtb are found during the same time I would suggest using a buzzy jar

Gossamer I suggest a lure on lead hipper hill & the bee doesn't usually take too long to spawn I'm happy to join you in chopping trees and chasing bees

And if you don't have buzzy jars or lures I definitely have some and would be happy to join or send them to you
