i’m never sad about keeping things accessible! it’s a good day if we’re doing that. the bot can only be so sophisticated, so while what you typed might’ve not necessarily been inaccessible (eg if you’d typed “cinna” but in all caps, that in and of itself wouldn’t be inaccessible.) the bot only knows to say, “too many capital letters, i angy.” and i’d personally rather get angy botted if it means we’re being inclusive of all our frens here

I have an issue sort of like that? It's mainly with brightness of things that cause headaches

My laptop has a power save function that adjusts the brightness depending on which tab I'm on, and I keep it off. But it turned itself back on and (the reason I keep it off) heavily saturated most of my tabs so much it gave me a migraine

One thing that I think is important, too, accessibility is important to everyone and can be helpful for anyone and everyone. Sometimes a setting or feature in a game (or elsewhere, ofc) can still be super helpful and a QoL for others who may not actually have any condition, disability, etc.

Like.. The toggle sprint, for example. That is very helpful for accessibility for those that get sore fingers/hands/etc, so they don't have to hold onto it. But there's also some folks who like that for QoL just because they may find it "annoying" to hold the button down to sprint all the time.

And that's something I always like to try to mention. And it's always options. Love it.

screen readers don’t understand all caps. they read them as either screaming, or more commonly, as acronyms. so while i would understand what’s being said based on context (cos who doesn’t get excited about the best people when they show up? looking at u, ori ) if i’m someone who’s unfamiliar with the server and just dropping in to ask a question and i use a screen reader, id not know what to do with someone’s name if it was in all caps 😂 same with all formatting. i dont know how to interpret italics or bold or underline unless its used as a way to add emphasis, which is the intention of formatting. screen readers read words not intention. so im grateful for bot even though it means folks (like myself) can’t use all caps in a harmless way. i’d rather stuff be swatted than inexplicable.

you might have not actually put up your plot so people can't find you, I did that at first by accident

I would double check and make sure your plots are renamed so you can easily tell them apart (if you dont already) if your on pc and go into edit mode (H) and hit the cog wheel you can change the name of the plots.

It will automatically update, so if it accidentally put a default plot on you would be able to tell.

I know I could get there (7 or 8 at the moment) but I dislike the mechanic so much, that I don't know if I really want to. Actually, I am starting to wonder why I am still playing .... haven't found a group to associate with, got to 1 in everything except fishing and cooking ... Palia is, for me, fairly tame compared to other games like TSW, Anarchy Online, Guildwars that I've played in the past. I find more community here in the discord than in the game. <sigh>

Getting fishing coins by fishing now and then can come quite handy when you need a lot of glow worms for the bundles, just a tip from someone that hates fishing 😭 (if you haven’t done those already)

just make sure you're praying at both shrines to increase your total focus and focus bonus, and then keep that focus up with meals. that way you're earning as much xp as possible with each fish

i use the game rant website for the bug locations...cuz it tells where, when and value👁️ 👄 👁️ but idk the exact times ex. the rainbow tipped butterfly...why is it at 3am to like 5pm

the worst part about the RTB is that you can't scare off the regular common butterflies. so they're all just taking up spawn spots that could be the RTB instead 😂
