food gives you focus which boosts your exp, so no food imo is worth selling until you just greatly out-scale what that food has to offer as far as focus points

And there are two dishes ik of that give an actual buff

Also, you can set gold star dishes in your house as decoration

Cooking can be a good source of income, but you have to join cooking parties for it to be worth it. You basically split the ingredients/process into parts with other people and so like maybe you bring sweet leaf and process that for cake party, everyone gets the cake at the end and you end up making lots of money.

The palia party app itself keeps the party thread posted until the host takes it down, so it has a better chance of folks seeing it over time. There's also outside discord groups that are basically only tour vote focused. It's a touchy system though, it still can be very time consuming and difficult to get the votes even for a medium tier plate.
