I do not believe so. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You can add starred items in bundles not asking for starred. It will accept them. I do not think starred items are used for gifts much. It's been a while since I did that on a regular basis

They are but you can usually come across a single one or a grove multiple times a day...just pay attention to your server chat in game. Most will share the coordinates of them before they cut them 🙂

There are flow tree groves which are a bunch of flow trees in one spot in Bahari at midnight in game but flow trees can spawn anywhere

Correct but you have to be in a party with someone that can actually damage the tree. I've tried it before when I had a low quality axe and didn't get the loot...unless they recently changed it iver the past two weeks

Takes time to get in the swing of things. As others have mentioned, a grove full of flow trees spawns once every in-game day at midnight, so there will be more chances.

Another thing that came up while the grove thing happened and people tried to ask them to stop is that they might have streamer mode on with chat hidden, so they don't even see people asking them to stop. Combine that with the above about no visible guidelines like that in-game and you get a perfect storm.

Honestly, when stuff happens I just brood a bit for myself, claw as much as I can out of it, then decide later if it is worth blocking them to reduce chances of meeting them later. Although I have yet to block anyone.

This also reminds me that the whole etiquette thing, it's not shown to players anywhere in the game. For people to actually be aware of etiquette they have to either stumble into an unofficial Discord or visit a wiki, or through conversation in game chat.

And again, they're playing within the rules of the game. It might have been nicer if they followed the waiting thing, but they are keeping to rules.
