Yeah unfortunately 3000 is the max for the time being in order to keep the game as stable as possible for everyone. S6 has said they're working on finding a way to increase the limit though.

Ok according to wiki you can cut med trees with the standard axe. To chop large trees you need a fine axe. While medium trees drop seeds i have more luck with large trees

Are you on PC? Double check two things:

• If you open your inventory and place your mouse cursor over your focus bar, a little window with description will pop up and near the bottom of it it should say what your current focus bonus percentage is. Check if it has increased even though you didn't get the message on the screen when using the shrine.
• As @plain wing said, check that you haven't accidentally increased max focus instead of focus bonus.

Did you check on your inventory page and hover over the focus bar like Kresjah suggested? Aside from that, I'm not sure what else to suggest. I haven't heard of anyone having this issue before. Maybe try reloading your game if you haven't already. Otherwise you can submit a support ticket so the devs can look into it.

are the romance levels easier to get than friendship? seems like the only 2 romance gifts give kinda low points and flirting too

It certainly felt like it was easier when I did them... but looking at info online it seems like it in fact isn't easier than friendship (that is assuming flirting gives same amount of romance points as chatting gives friendship points). Might just be that I had a good rhythm down by the time I got to romancing.

That seems logical though. The lower levels of friendship and romance require less points than the higher levels. So it should be much faster to get through level 1 romance (or friendship) than level 4 romance (or friendship).

yea i wanted my main plot to be a lil cottage in a forest. i have my SQ bugs floating on trees. placing the trees though hurt my brain. it was a fight between me wanting to perfectly plan evey single tree placement and wanting it to look random.

i didnt leave my plot for 3weeks. i started growing those trees and that was that. i stayed on my plot watering and moving trees until i got it looking right and then i did all the bugs. the bugs though took like 2hrs of that 3 weeks

Will say it was really nice with the lily rattan set, but a pain that they all wouldn't go on there. Some really weird design decision by S6 and a lot of bad collision though. Maybe there is some placement magic that can be worked even though that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.

If you don't get it to work, a toy store setup would probably be neat as well.

There are a couple achievements for purchasing other plots, but other than that people just like to have separate plots for more decorating or specific purposes. For example I know someone who has a plot specifically set up for cooking parties, and then another plot is just to make pretty. But yes you do have to buy/craft all the things again

If you haven't toured a lot of homes before that happens you might still be able to re-find it. The home tours board greys out plots you've been at... although I haven't checked if it greys out all you have visited, or just ones you've voted on. There are some activities you can do with others, but it’s completely optional to do it with other people like hunting, mining and fishing

On to of what others have mentioned. Yes you can play solo. Large flow trees you will need help with. There are benefits to playing with people. When you do activities in a party there are bonuses and other things you can't get solo (||extra xp, chance at double loot, growable furniture||)
