You can indeed and should eventually be using starred produce for your cooking! There's a button at the beginning tou can click on pc or hit x on switch to toggle the star option on recipes- this allows you to use either reg or star quality stuff for that recipe and needs to be selected every recipe!

i was having troubles too, if ur trying to move a whole build somewhere it might be one of the items on it or around it that is causing the problem. mine was the white lattice spring fence thing. once i moved it, i was able to move the whole build properly
