so u need to reset ur cast
by reeling the fish in, or by reeling in after the fish swam away (to safe bait)
catching the fish or not doesn’t matter and won't affect rare/epic catchrates

the sky could be north depending on the orientation, and if you think about it, north is top of the globe, if you consider north being the tip of the atmosphere then north could technically be up. we only point north in relation to the north pole of the earth. but if you do point straight north technically because the earth is round you will eventually drawing a straight line hit the sky...
