Didn’t think I’d be reminded about just how much a little act of kindness can go at a laundromat of all places. This woman couldn’t afford a box of dryer sheets, which they’re relatively inexpensive to someone like me, but a dollar is a LOT of change. When I go to wash my bedding at the laundromat, I always bring my own detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, etc., and I happened to have a large box of walmart brand dryer sheets. I asked her, “hey do you want some dryer sheets? I have plenty.” She replied with “I only want two… one for each of the dryers I’m using.” She only had her load set to 5 minutes (the most you can get with the least amount of change) and so I said, here just take as many as you need. I also pulled out two dollars, turned them to quarters for her and told her to add some more time to her dryer.

I’ve never seen a person smile as brightly as that woman did. She had just lost her job and was living in a hotel.

I use a pro controller (tiny hands) and first started playing on Switch so it’s great for me. There’s only occasional hiccups (like when you’re going to plant a seed and see the little outline of the plant, you have to click instead of pressing the button since there’s no full controller support in the first place and pro controller isn’t an officially supported partially supported controller because… reasons.) But I’ve always been a controller player and struggle with wasd.

Okay so I tried the controller again and it IS the camera that feels off. I can't seem to find a sweet spot where the sensitivity is nice, beceause it behaves so much different than other game cameras. It feels like the sensitivity is... jumping up and down and not consistent.

It "unmarks" the action slot you activated by pressing the number 😄 If you don't do that, especially with food, the game atm can't see if you're trying to use the action slot or the tool, so you can't hold down left mouse button to mine for example, it'll always reset the action and you have to press again

Plus if you haven't an action slot marked you put your tool away with it

I dont think it increases with the more people that there are. I now that if two people are standing on it, it shoots you higher, but I dont think it increases for each person. You can also do it by yourself if you get a rolling fall on the geyser.
