Question: Is there or will there be like a game encyclopedia/player scrapbook/journal where we can keep track of all of the items and animals/bugs we have collected to refer back to it at anytime in game. Like how u can have a hotkey for the NPC tab where it shows everyones relationship level and their weekly wants and what not.

If you are first starting out, it will likely seem high. With beginner tools, you only have access to limited resources, and you gather/mine/fish/hunt times per resource will be much higher than someone with higher level tools, and that's independent of skill.

One of the few complaints I have, about Palia, is how easy it is to get money. Mostly, I complain because there's a 🪙 cap, at any amount, much less the seemingly arbitrary 300K

Personally, I would find nerfing gems, at the exact same time we could sell them off, to be more than a little aggravating

Honestly, it wouldn't be a bad idea for the development team to inform the public what the changes could be before implementing them to give those who are further in the game the ability to make a more informed decision.

A yup yup. And it is definitely P2W. I know players who have spent thousands of real world monies, to get bigger ships, better guns, etc.

Gardening, along with canning, seeding, and worming. I log in each IRL day, tend garden, deposit that ~30K, then go hunt, mine, and forage. Whilst online, I tend garden every Palian day, 4-5 times (4-5 hours), restock all my machines, and sell off any excess furs, hides, meats, etc.

All together, I average ~45K a day in, and ~5K a day out, so ~40K profit. Takes about a week, to go from 1K 🪙, back up to hitting the cap, at 300K

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I think my advice would be to rush tool progression so that you have the option to grab everything that you'd want, and find the grind that you're happy with. That being said, rushing tool progression for even one job type will likely require advancement in other jobs. If you're doing a lot of gardening, be sure to make sure you stay online for when the crop tick at XX:15 (6AM Palian Time) happens. To maximize my time, when I was gardening hardcore, I would make sure I was at my plot from XX:05-XX:25 every other hour so I could do two garden cycle maintenances within about 10-20 minutes.

A big thing you should consider is that if you are in early game, you will likely be spending a lot of your disposable income on things that are required for you to advance in the game. Once you have bought those things and have hit the high cap for those things, you'll just be left with straight income.

Oh! And my crops are a checkerboard of potatoes (41) and cabbages (40). It is also possible to make just as much, or more, if you do apples correctly, with the 6 trees, and the correct other things around them. I just find the 2 crops simpler, for me

I think rawness is probably the among poorest implementation for mushrooms in terms of consuming them. Oyster sauced mushrooms can be pretty good alternative texturally.

You get rid of a lot of raw mushroomy taste with the sauce too.

I have limited scope for replying to this, but I believe a lot of it has to do with misinformation / ignorance, and a cultural acceptance of low thresholds for quality and high valuation for sensation. The best example that I can think of this is sauce. People love sauce, but I feel like especially Americans. It can make anything taste good with the right combination, but the issue arises when people lean on sauce too heavily.

The weird thing about Hershey's is that the process for adding milk as a liquid ingredient is an anarobic one. The same attempt in Europe was done with milk solids instead. It adds some odd flavors that people who aren't used to it often hate. In particular there is a chemical reminiscent of vomit, which also exists in Parmesan cheese.

The "marshmallows" stem from a previous update glitch. In some of the beachside spawn points, for stuff like shells, somehow made green cyclinders. They weren't really there, as we could walk right through them
As such things go, we all immediately fell in love with them. So, when they removed the error, they introduced the plushie. Super cute. Serves no real purpose, other than cuteness
