As I understand it, part of the reason we can't have bug fixes all of the time is because of some limits imposed by the Nintendo store. I've heard this, but it might be completely false. there is a small amount of truth in the fact that pushing updates to consoles becomes expensive for devs as they usually get charged but the patches and fixes have not slowed down since the switch version so i doubt its behind the pace of the updates

I never understood that market. Gaming laptop seems like such a terrible compromise. They're so expensive and heavy. If I had to choose between desktop or laptop I would either have a laptop I could actually carry around and just play on low settings or a desktop that doesn't go overly obsolete so quickly and might not have terrible thermals.
