You just need to keep the bobber in the brackets for it to count, is the thing. So if you're trying to catch a bigger fish like a tuna, you don't need to keep the whole fish in the target area or anything

Yeah sometimes you can move your trees and they count. Some say water them to the max and it works... For me I was lucky and got around it by just moving the trees along one square, leaving and re entering my plot

I've just spent a while in Bahari, I had a few ore trackers and a dowsing rod. So as I went around I would call the medium/big paliums I would see and flare. Afterwards I ended up with over 100 palium after several hours (nearly destroyed my pickaxe in the process 😅). Then after I looked for some rare foragables, heat root, dari cloves and heart rop lilies, and called those out for people.

I'm just curious if there's such a thing as calling out too many?

I personally don't think there's such a thing as being too active in the chat for calling out resources! Its a play at your own pace and with your own play style kind of game, which means lots of people don't feel comfortable calling things out in chat but still need those things for game play! I've been in a server that's felt luckier than other until I literally cannot force overflow my pockets anymore, and all the while calling and flaring. Thanks for being helpful!

It's not really integral to gameplay, but it's a thing that gets talked about a lot. So I think a good number of people would probably like to be able to experience it. Thankfully, the friendship requirement is high and most newbies probably won't get there before it's fixed
