you are supposed to take your time running around and finding stuff unexpectedly that you want

mounts kinda of go against that it. This game is a very much a journey not the destination sort of game.

There's nothing quite cozy about spending a ton of time running around trying to get from point A to B to C. If the maps get too big, and Bahari already is huge (and the northern part of it is poorly covered by fast travel spots), well... it's hard to get much done when I spend all my time sprinting everywhere.

I'm genuinely curious, as I didn't have an issue with the tree quest when it came (it auto-completed for me because I'd already grown dozens of trees at that point).
But, I know that trees will go through a phase in their last growth cycle where they'll only need water every 2 days or so, and that'll last for 3 watering cycles before they're considered "mature".
