Separate your items out. I keep flooring/walls/roof ... plants/paintings/banners ... rugs ... all in locked storage. So it's faster to find them. And many players use a separate plot to make an Ikea for extra or unused furniture. That keeps storage a little less daunting too

You can do it basically immediately. All you need is the ability to go to someone else's plot. You'll get a lot of cooking experience and gold. Since you have so many participating the money is really good. On your own cooking isn't worth very much more than what you put into it.

The courtyards are so fun to play with that I tore my house down (again) to try for a new layout. I /think/ I've got something I'm pretty happy with at this point. The sizing on the courtyards is just a tad bit off so it makes it verryyyy hard to reconnect them to other buildings, and after awhile I just had to give up.

(I still haven't figured out the roofs/walls/etc, so it's still looking janky, but I got the garden crammed into a courtyard and all my crafters placed where I want them to be, so the rest of the rooms will fall into place eventually...)

I fit the entire 9x9 thing! The trick is to toggle off the stairs for the courtyard first, and then you can fit them comfortably 🙂 You can add the stairs back in no problem once the garden is placed

Hey, has anyone noticed an increase of players chopping the grove on their own without calling it out and/or chopping a grove as a team of like 2 or 3 when it was called out and others are waiting for each other to arrive? I have personally noticed a sharp increase in this since Steam release and it's annoying. While calling out a grove and all that is only got etiquette, it's still kinda annoying to see so many players just being kind of selfish? They don't even stop and wait when 5+ people tell them too. This sucks mostly for newer players who desperately need fw as a ressource. Idk, I just think it destroys the atmosphere a bit

yeah since steam release because there's a lot of people who don't know etiquette since it's not really a rule

new players in general and new players who try the game out for a bit cause its free

But people who want to play single player are allowed to also just chop and move on too
I do find it rude when it's called out and someone chops it early
though it's also technically within their right

The point is there's no right way to play and that's kind of the whole point of the game, playing at your own speed and play style. That's an s6 goal, not something to pick at the players for. Etiquette is great, I always call out and flare and wait, and I'm sure people will either learn, leave, or get blocked so many times they'll they'll end up in grove snatching servers together and karma will do its thing also if anyone need fw request some! Lots of late game players heard the stuff for requests, since they don't need it anymore or have a stash of like 10000

Yeah, true. Here's to hoping that those players get used to the etiquette. Usually, when others were still on their way, I'll tell them to request fw so I can "donate" some to them bc it just feels so bad that their opportunity was stolen

i think some people get a little frustrated when they call out a FT or FG and people say "omw" but they stop about 20 different times along the way for foraging/mining etc. if you have said you are heading to the FT/FG i think its only fair to make that your priority to save everyone else having to wait for you

Also a good point to bring up is that it's still possible to "farm" flow trees in bahari! Just go out with lots of focus food, chop like every tree in an area, then run around like a mad Palian and I can almost guarantee you'll find some flow tree re-spawning in! Just pre update I got 4 trees in the flooded steps and we had a mini mid day grove where everyone that showed up flared a different tree, it was great!

With the groves I've been to, ppl usually arrive in a timely manner and the one who has found the groves calls out smth like "chopping at 2", so those ppl know they should hurry. But then there are those ppl who don't even wanna wait till 1 and just chop with everyone else just standing there like 🧍🏻‍♀️

I find it rude when the person who chops only came there because someone else called it, even though the person who called it first indicated a time. Would be nice if there was some indicator of who made it to the area first

As long as you tap/hit the flow tree once you all will get the loot, if that's what the concern there is, otherwise I do agree about someone coming to a callout for snatching purposes. I have luck with my servers,, because I tend to friend request active/kind players and so my game always puts me with nice/generous peeps, but in servers where you're finding snatchers just block them and they won't be able to see your call out!

Definitely noticed the increase as well. Also, I’ve noticed a lot more players not calling out or flaring palium, Dari cloves, etc. I’d say it’s 70% of the servers I’m in. Ngl it does make me a little salty. As a long time player, I’ve always liked helping people and calling things out. Do you HAVE to let people know when you find certain things? No. But it’s a simple courtesy and takes a few secs to do. I’ll usually just leave and hope to find a better server.

tangent note, but isn't it easy to find the grove for everyone or at least get near it because of the directional sound? personally i don't mind it if people get there because they found it on their own and then chop, but if you literally just waited around for a callout and come in to snatch, that's rude
