Teleporting trees are a known bug! As long as you don't water the trees or pick them up/move them, you can just switch to another plot/back to the plot with the trees on it and they should stick where they belong

His dream was to open a bar in the country side where he could write down stories of passing adventurers which is why he went out questing for gold

I don't see that happening. Players have a hard enough time sharing resources now with the current game mechanics

If this game had trading or a market board I can see profession specializations happening but I don't think any of the above fit the theme of the game

I think this game, correct me if I'm wrong, is supposed to feel accessible by anyone and everyone. Gating progress or resources or recipes behind things you can't obtain outside of a tentative player interaction seems sketchy and open to exploitation

Which I think misses the mark of the games overall message

In ff14 those specializations give you access to special recipes no one else in the profession can do. Which is neat but you can't request things you don't have so you'd never be able to give them to people so you'd have to introduce trading or marketplace and again I think both miss the mark. I don't want gold bots in this game

They tried to have players share resources, but for the most part, as long as I've been here anyway, a majority of players play solo aside from cooking parties that have gotten rather huge. It's really the only 'social' aspect of the game at this point. Sure there's 'partying' ... That's not to say that most of the player base is kind, thoughtful and even funny. :) If S6 decides to go the route of specialization, it would change the entire feel of the game imho. What I WOULD love to see is actual communities. Spaces for many players to gather and just do whatever. Like a joint housing plot. I think that would go a long way to giving the game a more social feel

Exploitation for specialized resources would really dampen the game. Even with the request system, I'm sure someone would find a way to ruin it if given some power to sway the market. Palia being an open world cozy Sim is a new niche for me so I'm excited to see it develop

What about puzzle "dungeons". A series of puzzles that CAN be done alone but is quicker with a group? Like a light-sequence or pattern memorization puzzle?

To be frank (Not Bobn't, frank :P ) , I used to get on the 'everyone must wait for grove chopping' band wagon. But as Sen said ... I noticed a HUGE surge of players just chopping away right after the Switch release. At first I thought 'wow those players are all just rude'. Come to find out from many that use Switch that their chat is VERY unreliable. Like worse than PC. What I do now ... is if a player is yelling at another player ... for whatever reason, I just block the one yelling. Why? The game TRIES to put you on servers with those on your friends list, and TRIES to keep you off of servers with those on your block list. You'd be surprised how nice servers are with like minded people. (People that don't think it's ok to scream at other players for whatever reason)

I'd like to see instanced resourcing implemented on trees as it was for mining nodes. It'd feel a lot better for someone to call out a grove and move on while also allowing groups to locate and collect it themselves at their leisure. Maybe give groves a set spawn and despawn time so that people will always know whether or not they'll be able to partake just by looking at the game clock.

I had a friend to whom I had introduced the game. They were pretty excited to try it. On one of their Bahari runs, they found a couple of medium flow trees and cut them down themselves. They didn't call them out because they didn't understand or know about that etiquette. A few players who had seen her chopping them down had scolded her and told her that she was selfish, etc. This was prior to grove spawns. She felt terrible and apologized, but that experience was enough to make her never pick up the game again. I'm still sad about it because she was so excited, only to have been turned off from ever wanting to try it again. So yes, kindness does go a long way--and assuming the worst in others never goes well.

All you can REALLY do on someone else's plot is move around items they have already placed, water their crops (trees?) and that's about it. You can not place anything from your inventory nor can you put anything of theirs in your inventory. You CAN cook on their equipment but you use your own ingredients if you cook the recipe alone.

wait @primal tiger I found where it says it was deleted in the regular message logs
but it's not in the automod logs so I have no idea how or why it was deleted
my guess is because of all the characters like Ashura: 2,13m (7'0") - 58 years Auni: 1,38m (4'6") - 11 years Badruu: 1,86m (6'1") - 47 years Caleri: 1,80m (5'11") - 39 years and so on it triggered spam filter?
