I have a question about the QualityBoost fertilizer. I can keep adding it to a 'slot' on a plot (i went as far as Quality Boost 10). but i'm not sure what effect it has on the slot / crop.

Does it stay for 10 'growth ticks' (days) and just reduce the amount of Quality Boost # each day?

or does it increase the chance for the quality boost to take hold by a 'factor of' 10 ?

It uses 1 application, per Palian day. Spam it for 20 ferts, and you won't have to, again, for 20 days
There's a max. After that, it has some kind of weirdness. However, the max is, from what I've been told, 9,999, so I think you're good

Not sure if this is just new to me or not, but a PSA to those who keep failing cooking recipes:

Check to see if you are in cinematic mode when cooking - it adds time to swap the camera views.

I make bouillabaisse a lot as my go-to food. I never fail. Today I noticed a checkbox in the cooking menu for "cinematic cooking" so I selected it just to see. The view is neat, all right, but I failed the recipe for the first time, twice in a row, because of the seconds of time the camera view swap ADDS. The cooking timer is still counting even when the camera shifts.

If it's what you want, catch it the 2nd time around, as the fish is always the same, until you retrieve or reel in the hook. If it's not what you want, wait for it to dive back down, and then reel in the empty hook. The worm will still be on it. When you cast again, the fish should be different
(Unless you're like me, and get the blobfish 20 or 30 times in a row )

I think it's a complicated dynamic over-emcouraged and under-explained as far as the financial and the necessity aspect. It's a great option and I enjoy schooling, but it's also a rigged system I a lot of ways and leaves lots of us feeling lost and very much in debt! To each their own as far as schooling, I agree that it's very personal and variable at the bare minimum and best and a targeted scheme to further push more wheels in the grinding capitalistic system at worst.

It’s possible they froze. I once opened the table and got a black screen. By the time I reloaded my switch not only was the game done, but also the market closed for the day. Sometimes it’s no one’s fault that they are not deciding. I’ve also had the game not let me do anything if I opened the chat box. I learned to not touch the chat while I played hotpot.
