Even the last cod, full release was absurdly buggy for ages and an absolute nightmare, S6 in comparison in my opinion is doing a fantastic job of trying to keep up with everyone’s demands and improving game play/stability to match growing player numbers. Aswell cod is a game you pay upwards of $100 for in aus just for it to crash constantly and then having the audacity to have a paid battle pass aswell. I’m grateful to play palia for free even if they are working out kinks which to me seem minimal, I can see the urgency for accessibility and how that can be disheartening for players who just want to be able to play it like everybody else and they definitely have the right to. If a massive company like blizzard or activation can release full games that cost a fortune just for them to be entirely unplayable I feel as though Palia is of immense quality for a much smaller team/company.

and for the dragonfly, it's the easiest of the epics to find, just hang out on top of pavel... walk slowly so as not to scare it away

and for the rainbow butterfly, I found more using a buzzy jar and running around pulsewater at 3am

it really does work, found a few starred ones that way, and a good 18 normal ones

it's not that honey lures don't work, but they're expensive to make and it's a gamble. Buzzy jar is far cheaper, lasts longer, and continues even if you log out. So if you strike out, you can swap servers and continue bug hunting

you don't need it to bug hunt, it just makes life a lot easier. All of the bugs you need can be found without it, it'll just require looking more carefully

The cicada, for example, can be found on the trunks of sapwood trees around bahari (the white and red leaves). Any size, look for a bright yellow "leaf" on the trunk.

rainbow tipped butterfly is much bigger than the blue ones, so it's just a matter of spotting it (it's pretty rare). And the dragonfly is the only one found on a mountain away from water

The gold set up I have for gardening is 58 potatoes and 23 rice. I position the rice so all potatoes gain harvest boost, then fertilise the rice plots with harvest boost. I seed the produce and sell it.

If I want to grow different produce rice can be substituted for corn or wheat, potatoes with anything that takes one plot. This is how I do it to replenish crops I use for cooking, but the above is best for gold 🙂

I don't necessarily even care if they change the biomes or bugs so much as they give me more of the other stuff. I get enough of the biomes and different things in genshin, however that's a good possibility, maybe make below the water have another civilization that can be accessed through the portals like in the windy ruins

I'd be happy with lore discovery quests where you're hunting for something, somewhere and it's like a puzzle or chain reaction of sorts... a goose chase for a fun story. I'm totally not opposed to those kind of time fillers.

lots of new areas it appears. Palia is set up really well for a beautiful expansion. If they can get their programming crap right and work out the glitches and bugs then I think we'll see tons of additions. With all the secret areas and closed off tunnels that can magically open, the possibilities are pretty grand.

Sadness, it's probably because as the game grows in size, community wise, things like this will happen more often. There are probably better systems that could be implemented to take an ever growing community into consideration.

if the person who finds it is willing to sit there and share their find, then it's a matter of respecting the finder. If you find it and you don't wanna call it, then cool... that doesn't apply to groves, groves are intended to be sharable.
