Once you've made or bought some bug bombs (I just use sneaky smoke bombs for everything) you can select which type it uses by click R to select your bomb belt and use right click to select your ammo.

It's really glitchy atm and they can get away or go into walls/ground more easily than they're meant to. I throw a bomb and if it hits I just spam them until it's stunned. Once it's less buggy (excuse the pun) I'll go back to hitting it, waiting to see if it works, then hitting it again if it didn't.
