Pro jealous doggy tip: Buy plushies for them at the thrift shop. 8x cheaper than the pet store, and they come with free smells from the previous owner. (Check for sharp bits like hard plastic eyes and do not give them anything with beads or foams inside that they could swallow*)

He really is. The hardest part of his training for him was ignoring others that called him over when he's working. Most people respect the boundries leagally set for service animals, but there are a few that just don't know or care. Mack loves people. He's never met a stranger so he had to learn to reign that in, and that's hard if its ingrained in your personality just like people.

While I am romancing multiple NPCs, including Jel actually as my choice for a guy, the ones I was consider setting with when it came to pins was Jina and Kenyatta... But Tish is sweet and like a sunny day with her more upbeat personality. That, and I have my love of Furniture Making at least in part because of her help. Even if she is just an NPC, I truly didn't want to upset her. Glad to know there wont be any serious effect on our relationship when I do remove the pin, even if I will still feel guilty.

I feel like they make bullying groups either intentionally or unintentionally way easier... again that's been my experience and may not be everyone elses.

True! I had a mandatory financial class but I don't thinkt he focus should be investments so much as just, budgeting and your rights. At least thats what I was thought. We were taught all our rights as workers when in the field

yea my oldest kid who is a grown man at this point just had slides for his class. each lesson was taught by a module of slides and a little 4 question quiz at the end.

I disagree because you’ll be amazed at how your money can work for you when you start even with the smallest amount. 😅 But I also agree that basics need to be covered first and don’t overwhelm people with things until they are ready with some free income to spare

yeah i tried to explain the teacher that i had a computer since 6 years old (windows 3.11) and i'm used to type like that, bad habit yeah but it works for me

My last employer was actually fantastic with this. Held sessions with financial advisors to cover different topics each week and also just open sessions for any concerns you might have. Same with medical and insurance. It needs to be the norm where your employer cares about you because if you’re doing well then you’re in a better state to do well at work too.

my daughter uses her hands like I do because I taughter her the feel method I use. My boys do not... they are watch your fingers and go kinda kids. My oldest I was a bit late with devices so he's not as able as the baby is because the baby was raised on computer games, tablets and the switch, where the oldest was the game boy systems and xbox way older.. laptops came last for him where as the other kids it was one of the first. As long as they can navigate tech and communicate, I call it a win

My attachment's company has great resources like this for their folks, an entire department to just guide them if they have questions about anything. I can't remember the last time I worked for someone to recall my own experience (it's been over a decade), maybe one of my past companies was that helpful

I don’t enjoy budgeting because then I stress too much with unforeseen expenses dipping into emergency funds even though they exist for that exact reason. So I use an app to track investments, accounts and even loyalty stuff from stores. It gives me a quick overview to see that I’m doing well without the stress of going into details unless I want to. Also sometimes shows more than what your financial provider shares like their exact fees for maintaining things for you.

Used to speak Arabic when I was little, Afrikaans (kind of to Dutch what American English is to British English) & Xhosa at school but now I’m just speaking English but can read and write quite fine in the others.

2 languages I was raised with, that's my main talking ish languages, the other 2 I only learned so I could order food on a trip and I'm not joking. French specifically, I took 3 years of it because I was going to france and wanted to make sure I could order all the food I wanted to eat. Before I became allergic to food, food absolutely drove me to do crazy things like learn a new language for new tasty goodies

Editing is actually so difficult! The brain often glosses over errors and just fixes them for you so it’s difficult to actually notice them. It’s a step away and return quite a bit to check again imo.

That's what happens so I have 4 levels of editing and I absolutely have to take 24 hours or a new project between them or I'll mess up and send the publisher crud like my first few things... my editors and I are uhh... I'm unreasonable to work with sometimes with my deadlines lol. either way, I completely agree and do the same. Palia is actually what I use to force down time and breaks. As long as I want to play, it gives me a reason to relax my brain so it can function better

it took me a while, I had no interest in buying rooms but once I had excess money, I had to do something or I'd hit the cap so that's when I started expanding, you need materials to build it so then it gives you a reason to go collecting, I didn't really start expanding my house until I was grinding, but once I started then I kept adding lol
