It's a live service game their are always going to be bugs to a certain extent. Even released games like Destiny 2 constantly play whack a mole with bugs (Telesto says hi).

Every time we close the game there should be a feed back with a crash dump message and submit it to S6. So they have a record of what happened during all players run through and they run it through a compiler to find what was consistent each time and focus on the majors and minors.

Same item several days in a row no matter the rarity of the item. Sometimes it's a nice bug to have, other times not so much, but it's hard to prove on the lower end because "it's supposed to be random". But it replicates with the rarer stuff too.

I play on switch and pc. If youre able to get more details, I might be able to help with a work around? Depends on whats going on though. For some of my switch friends, just being present to keep the flow going for complicated recipes while they got themselves unstuck was all I could do.

There are definitely different bugs for pc vs switch. So it can be a lot to try to keep straight. But tbh, the game is still so great that I dont mind the bugs as long as I can figure out how to get around them. /unstuck was godsent for pc lol

Switch cooking can be inconsistent. Usually if I log off and log back on, the sticking goes away. But not the consistent bugs. Those are something you work around.

Stardew valley has them too. Id love the idea but the water retention buff takes care of it for me.

That didnt help me with switch. But If I interact with other things before cooking on switch, then I usually dont have issues. But even thats not fool proof.

hmm actually yeah the past day or so i've started hearing all those issues here, definitely submit a bug report to support so they can keep an eye on how many it's affecting, only thing to suggest is a relog or relaunch of the game

I know this probably won't help you, but I had to rearrange my kitchen. I still slightly teleport , and I get knocked back after completing a step at the chopping station (does not happen at the other stations). Cooking keeps you on your toes. But it's still fun to have all of those recipes.

if it's on pc, try hitting H quickly in and out of the screen and try again. every time something weird happens... support told me to do that to see if I can get past it when cooking and so far it's worked... like 96% of the time

The only thing I can think of is that some recipes force you to finish some step before you can resume cooking at another station.

Gonna ask a stupid question but how close is she to the second station? Cuz if she sees the option pop up but it’s greyed out, if she just moves back then it becomes engageable. Had that where I was too close to the stove so it just stayed greyed out even though everything was ready for me to proceed

1. @midnight merlin if im present with her, i can use all stations and the bug doesn't happen for her.
2. @crude cape yeah she does, and also soup! i also cook with her when possible
3. @burnt meteor it's on switch o: she cant do that, it doesnt work on switch. Crafting something before cooking also doesnt work.
4. @gusty marlin She has already finished all steps but cant keep cooking. It happens every time

She can only cook when I'm there cooking with her since I can interact with everything, apparently.

1. @midnight merlin We've only cooked together, we haven't tried her being cooking alone at my home O: we'll have to try that (when she's less fed up)

This probably seems like an odd question. And doesnt help her solo cooking which is the goal here. But Im the type of person that wants to try a million and one different ways to test things to figure out a problem 😅
