If it is a tiny percentage of the playerbase, fix the issue that caused it and handle repairs to particular characters on a case by case basis. If the majority of the playerbase is affected then solutions such as just flipping the switch and making all active players reset to a particular quest state to fix things becomes the better solution.

Here's the thing--they made the quest in a way that if you went to the third island early on, it got glitched. They made a glitchable quest. If they just reset my quest for me, I'd be happy to start all over again. They will not address the issue though. That is what is so frustrating.

2. Every MMO has a player base who complains about the lack of communication. And no matter how well the Dev's do communicate, the player base is never supportive.
3. Dev's VERY rarely have great communication skills. When they do it is almost always a communication specialist taking snippets the Dev gives them to make a pretty word salad the player base can devour.

it’s a glitch that connects your kitchen crafters to your workbench. as long as you open the workbench and have only one of an item shown to build, you’ll avoid the mass cooking. otherwise whatever was the last quantity that you built of a given thing will be the quantity it tries to make you cook. you don’t even actually have to craft anything, just open the workbench and close it again.

What got me was I signed up with this username on the Palia website before the Switch release. Decided I’ll hold off on playing until then, when I set up my switch account it said my username had already been used. So now I have 1 on the website, another as the username on the game and then the nickname. If they ask me any info on a support ticket, I’ll be lost on what to enter.

Yet a second account could use the same username on website and account creation in game when linking :/

in some sense I guess it helps maintain privacy, since when you create the account with your email and stuff you might be tempted to use an identifying name. I am hoping that perhaps sometime later we would be allowed to create a second character, which the "character selection screen" and "character name" would make plausible as a "future feature"

i believe in some other MMOs I've played also, each character has it's own friend list

True, in that case friends should be unique to account they’re added on but then it means you could only earn referral rewards on one account if using the same email since they’re earned and tracked via the website and not the in game account? 🤔

the thing about the friend redemptions is that they're kind of pyramidy lol... like if you're the first one to post the code into a group of people who are thinking about playing, you might get all the rewards, but none of the other people in that group will be able to do so unless they pyramid out into other friend groups... it's very MLM

i far prefer the events where devs are like "thanks to getting 1 million likes on x y and z, everyone recieves this prize!"

I haven’t had a great experience with such rewards. Still waiting on a statue and outfit from DDLV for such goals however almost every single thing I’ve seen Palia devs promise, has been delivered. Only waiting on the ammo & quest slots and I see that’s to be expected early this year so I’m excited.

Yes I’ve never had issues with receiving linking or twitch rewards. I’m all good.

No not the stationery but when you have a specific letter selected then the name is highlighted so that you know which letter you’re currently viewing. When I click on any Zeki letter then ALL Zeki letters are highlighted.
