I personally placed the bug alongside the crafting one, that doesn't think you have enough materials. Some people get away with closing the UI and going back in; others have had to rezone before cooking.

you may still get the rolling pin bug though, but you can bypass that by still clicking when it goes to the top, it'll say fail but the lil circle will still complete

Yeah that’s the hardest part, specifically the sliding and jumping. Shooting is the easiest imo. It also helps if you use one hand for shooting and the other hand for jumping/sliding.

The trick for guilds/clans/communities is to keep recruiting and cycle out those who are perpetually inactive. But the problem in Palia is that there's no error messages for failed community invites and you can no longer see your community member totals anymore. So you have to manually keep track. It's such a royal PITA that I've given up on the active recruiting since 0.714 when S6 broke so many things... tons of regression bugs. Just gave up at that point until they fix things and improve the in-game tools.

The two really stuck for me are Master bug and Einar's pebbles. I found early the RNG pebble from oysters, but accomplishment is stuck. Master bug: have multiple star quality of each, keep them in stash, still won't register completition. Even moved them to inventory, then back to stash. Even collected more star quality ones, still stuck. Known issue.

to be more accurate, it's open beta. On Switch it's "release" even though similar client. We had closed beta too, but no public release for anything prior to that.

For me, every time I come back after a week or so I just end up getting frustrated at some new thing going wrong. I streamed the game last month and ran into like half a dozen bugs in two hours and remembered why I went on break

I can't complete the Temple of Gales as the last quest is broken for me. Happened because I found a way to the final island long before I was supposed to be able to go there, so Zeki didn't spawn in correctly to hand in quests, and thus one in the chain has a skipped hand-in.

I dont think i could bring myself to stream this game...theres just too many problems. its a fun game, and the bugs are easy to handle when you can finally figure out what went wrong, but its still not worth it to me

I seem to have lost the guides around my fishing pole when I reel in a catch. Was working fine, I got server dropped, logged back in and no guides. I have tried relogging, any other ideas?

I doubt its that, this is the open beta, there are going to be some seemingly obvious flaws

not all the developers, just the management or lead developers who made those decisions. Many have reported being frustrated by S6 management and the current state of the game

that's my point- they can scrub beta off that title and pretend its released but PC version still has the beta label. My point isn't is it beta or is it not- my point is the s6 team is full of nonsense and that's a prime example.

What I had heard was the assumption it would be out of beta by Switch release because generally speaking Nintendo doesn't allow beta games on their platform. How much of that is true, how much of that is not, I have no idea.

it's just numbers that are rather meaningless. Game has been released to the public for coming up on 5 months now, so the core game with this many serious issues is concerncing. Not even BG3 had this many game breaking bugs 5 months into Early Release, and that game is exponentially more complex and prone to bugs.

I... wpuld question that statement, tbh. Even Baldur's Gate 3 at release shipped with some really nasty bugs, some of them game-breaking

I agree that they should have held back, but gaming companies, especially as of late, are known for releasing unfinished games, look at all the bugs in Pokemon S/V

these days they're just names as develoeprs/publishers have abused those definitions over the past decade. So yeah, they could mean the same thing or be used completely different depending upon the company

the difference is, you could still progress. You could even juggle multiple saves and get around issues. With Palia there is no getting around progression bugs... if your character is broken, it's broken until S6 fixes it.
