Oh no I've not heard of that lol. No I got the idea for the nickname from a TV show. I forget what it was called now. But there was like a local legend or something of the Maiden of the island. Well it stuck with me. So in games I nearly always have it as a username or some variation of it depending on how long a username can me. Sometimes I add in my middle name's nickname Lizzie. Sometimes I dont. Plus it works for me as I'm from the UK. Which is essentially an island. As well as the fact I'm female so can be classed as Maiden lol 😆

I had some fps drop problems with my 1080p 75Hz display o.O Then I got my better display from storage and the game runs much better with it so I have no idea what was the problem but Im glad it works now. Going from 1080p to 1440p made the game look much better too.

81 * 12 = 972 tomatoes you make in 10 hours. Seed maker needs 42 minutes to process 2 tomatoes. 600 minutes / 42 minutes = 14,28 times the seedmaker will process during the time. Round it down to 14 to make it easier, thats 28 tomatoes a single seed maker can handle in 10 hours. 30 Seed Makers would only be able to handle 840 tomatoes imo 😄

Its our job as Beta applicants to be providing all the feedback and bugs that we find. If just a small intro of the tutorial and quests were available and that was all that got tested... could be a very rocky release once the official completed version of the game drops. So of course any good beta wont limit what you can do...

so in Animal Crossing, you can basically get everything done within one year (fish, bugs, items, house etc.). The first year that Animal Crossing came out, we didn't have a few of the holiday events. Some people stopped playing when they got all of the items and a 5 star island. Then the following year, we got a few new events, that could be completed in one day, and that's it, people left. I worry that it could happen again with Palia, that's all. I want this game to succeed, don't get me wrong.

Yeah but it's not an animal crossing or palia issue. Every game has a finite completion goal or down periods. Online games that constantly get updated (Black Desert Online, Don't Starve Together, Genshin Impact, LoL, CoD) will need time to release new content and it's the players' fault for breezing through it. And if you 100% complete a game and its developpers have no intention to add content to it then that's it, you beat the game lol. It's like saying Tears of The Kingdom or Hades should have infinite DLCs 🤨

It's a co-op mmo. There's not really any combat, although there is hunting. There's a lot of similarities to things like Stardew Valley. You can go fishing, mining, bug catching, hunting, gathering. Build up your relationship with the villagers, explore/find secret areas. Learn about the lore of the world, flirt with some of the young adults, get the feels during some of the events.

One thing that I have noticed is that you can't have 2 of the exact same crops next to each other
EX:
Tomato next to tomato won't give each other the water retain effect
Tomato next to potato will give each other the effect

basically the devs left their producers but the producers kept the rights to the name harvest moon, and kept making harvest moon with different devs and the games SUCK. the original devs make story of seasons now and have remastered fomt and awl and i am so happy about it, so they can reclaim their rep. i think a lot fo people didnt know about what happened so old fans would buy the new hm games that suck and be like "wtf is this"

Yes, you level up your skills by doing the stuff. This lets you get access to better and new equipment. Such as different arrows for hunting, different recipes to cook, different crafting equipment, etc.

ofc!! 💚 i also played mineral town and was so happy to see it remastered. a couple months ago they remastered a wonderful life which was my absolute favorite and i have been so happy with the updates and stuff, i can even be nonbinary in it!!
