Add button customisation, gambling and ping.

The ability to change your controller layout in game is needed. Changing them through your console messes up a lot of other interactions. Most games allow this and it would be a great addition.

As for gambling I see age restriction being a 16+ brought up a lot, but the official discord we are all using is 13+ and you can gamble scrap here. We are told rust console will port over what the pc version has so it would also be a great addition.

Lastly since beta the Xbox ping displaying before you enter a server has never worked. Iv seen devs respond before saying it’s been talked about and pushed as something to be worked on. This was years ago, it would really help with joining good servers.

Gambling wont be added its not because of t he 16 + where Rust can be purchased and played in various countries theres restrictions by those countries. Its more than what you think.

Seems strange to have one rule for one and one rule for another for the same game. If a dev could explain the issue with it it would be great.

RCE is rated PEGI 16, so that would need to change to allow the other games.

It most certainly is. The PEGI game rating does not allow the other gambling games.

Oh I believe it is aswell but he commented saying nothing to do with it. Hence why it would be better for a dev of the game to explain. And if it is to do with age how comes we can gamble scrap on the official rce discord which is age rated 13. Appreciate the replies but would rather a dev explain what needs to change for it to come.

The first line you wrote was it’s not because of the 16+. We will leave it at that and hope a dev can explain more. And then maybe we can look at getting it changed to bring the console closer to the pc as intended 🙂

The way it was explained to me is pc is 100% digital and therefore has never been officially rated but because console had a disk version it had to go through the rating system

Yeah it’s a shame they really should of pushed for the 18+ rating for new gen when it was released a lot of people was asking for it. Let’s hope we get custom buttons and a working ping counter in the menu atleast 🙂

No but even the devs said before new gen was released post it in tell the devs and hopefully it can be changed. They could have pushed for it more is all.
